  1. This is a good example of acting concerned but at the same time denying there's a problem. If you skip to 16.50 Shapiro gives his solution which I've never actually heard before, let me know what you think -
  2. Theres a definite lack of compassion from Ben Shapiro, although that doesnt mean he cant have valid points worth exploring. Im not sure i would go as far sociopath but im not a psychologist
  3. They will say theyre not happy with how its played out but this isnt really true. Most people will say they agree with whatever they need to so as not to be deemed a bad person in the eyes of society (for survival reasons), but that doesnt mean that they dont feel a certain way internally. In this case with the sign, many feel emboldened to attack it because their community is mostly white and of the same mindset so they dont have to face any negative consequences from their actions, if someone had the same feelings in new york city they wouldnt be so blatant about how they show it. Why they tend to get annoyed is because they cant voice these feelings or they get criticised so they feel that their freedom of speech is being taken away, which causes frustration etc also others in the mainstream that they relate to cant voice these opinions, so they feel their voice is unheard. Therefore if black people are protesting that they want rights its almost offensive to them because they see it as unfair that black people can voice these opinions but they cant voice their opinions that maybe black people are complaining about nothing or racism doesnt exist. Any honest debate will at least show them that they are mistaken or at least lacking perspective in this issue, but the point is they dont want to have that debate because they are happy with things the way they are. I know you have a thing against sjws and I do get that they can be judgemental and superior, but they make the environment uncomfortable for people with these misinformed opinions and beliefs and that is precisely what is needed. You should not be comfortable holding racist beliefs, Nazis should have never been so comfortable believing Jews were inferior. The idea that theyre not protesting right is just looking for justification to shut all conversation down.
  4. Oz shows every flavour of red, its interesting how some characters like Syed have to drop from blue to red to survive in the prison. Adebisi was obviously the craziest mofo in there -
  5. Hip hop had a very strong green base in the 90s, De la soul, tribe called quest, public enemy, common etc but there was a lot more money in the red stages with gangsta rap and when the labels put money into it they put money into that. Even now there are a lot of green rappers that are popular J Cole, Kendrick etc. Tupacs an interesting one as well, he's shown strong signs of red, blue, orange and green
  6. I think there will be an opportunity to avoid this, it will require older generations stuck in their beliefs dying and being phased, but i think the younger generation now and most likely the next few generations will move the left to be more mainstream. A lot of young people voted for Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn here in the UK so i think this provides hope. Globalisation will also inevitably leave nationalistic countries behind so that would be further incentive. Ultimately for now it will be capitalism and the markets that shift things, companies were quick to promote BLM when their bottom line was at stake. In fact several companies with links to slavery have looked at ways to address it.
  7. So realistically you think there was a way that BLM couldve been handled that these people would have been ok with? Do you think there would have been a way for Jews to speak out about their persecution that Nazis wouldve listened to in the 1930s? (im not conflating the two) People can feel how they feel but saying they shouldnt be called out for it i wouldnt agree with.
  8. But that is exactly the point, they are not willing to have that conversation because its uncomfortable for them. Where they do want to have the conversation is to prove that racism doesnt exist or that its unimportant, so then you get a debate which is essentially black people trying to prove their lived experiences to white people who dont believe them, which is a fruitless endeavour. What it boils down to is black people or any group want equality with the majority group. Granted theres not much we can do about implicit racial bias but it can at least be acknowledged. I dont see how any black people having equality takes away from anyone elses 'power' and even if it did is that a bad thing considering what their power is based upon? I think we have to look at this very clearly, the fact is that people who are in a position of privilege simply because they are the dominant race, sexuality, whatever, will most likely fight to keep that privilege as they are advantaged by it. This is a very simple matter of survival, as you said most dont know what compassion is, and as they are mainly interested in theirs and their peoples survival, it follows that they will attack anything that could threaten that. Hence why they would get triggered by any suggestion that they should lose it or be made worse off than they are. As i said the idea that black people are not protesting correctly or its their fault in some way, is just a way to divert and muddy the waters so they can easily dismiss them. If there was an intention to discuss, this is not the type of action that would be taken. The whole reason for the protests is black people do not feel as though theyre being listened to and if white people are in this survival mode then of course theyre not. Ultimately it comes down on the white people to listen, black people have tried every way you can think of to be heard, sometimes they have been, sometimes they havent, but either way they are the ones that have put in the work.
  9. OK so what would be a good way to raise this issue which is very relevant for black people without 'neglecting' white people? What is the best way to get them to listen and not be triggered? Keeping in mind protesting peacefully ie Colin Kapernick also triggered people. I would argue that a lot of unconscious bias are not natural, there has been many instances historically of painting black people in a certain way through media, from 'Birth of a Nation' up to modern day focus on the negatives of 'black culture' (poverty culture would be more accurate). So these stereotypes and perceptions of black people were embedded into everyones psyches, how can it be natural to think a person youve never met is a certain way, of course there will have to external influences. I understand if you dont care about social justice that will be your natural reaction, but not caring about social justice means you are in a privileged position of not having social justice taken away from you. Im not blind so im in a privileged position of not having to care if blind people are being treated fairly, if blind people complain that they arent being treated fairly, would it make sense for me to start saying 'sighted peoples lives matter too', why are these blind people always complaining? and then justify it by saying, ' well you know its my normal reaction not to care about blind people', even though i have no idea how theyre being mistreated? People can do that if they want but lets not pretend they have a point or care about anything other how they dont want to feel bad at facing how they might be internally racist and that makes them feel uncomfortable. For me it just shows a complete lack of compassion, id rather have a society with more compassion than less
  10. The riots are used as a distraction imo. The main question is why are people so triggered by the statement 'Black lives matter' why is that such a source of contention? My bet is from slavery til today there have been a lot of white people who were offended by the very fact of black people standing up for the right to be seen as equal to their white brothers and sisters. We've seen this play out in numerous instances and policies. I for example wouldn't feel offended if Chinese-Americans said they were treated unfairly or unequal, I might be interested in how or why they feel like that, this seems to be something very specific from some white people to minorities (usually black). The diversion tactic of, well black people are rioting or they're bad or somehow brought this up in themselves is always brought up in every racial incident. Even the Ahmed Arbouy case was somehow turned around to seem like it was his fault. We've really got to ask why this happens from the same section of society over and over again. It's like if you had kids and you treat one consistently unfairly and they then complain about this, is a good response to blame them and look for things they've done to deserve the treatment you've always given them. Or if you intention is to create parity with your children why wouldn't you listen and see what you might be doing unconsciously in an effort to redress the balance. Ah Timmy you got angry when I took your PlayStation away and gave it to your brother, of course I'm gonna get angry if you do that
  11. Whats funny is that you think you hold some kind of truth that the rest of us are too close minded to see, you have not demonstrated that in anyway here, in fact its been a good example of how this nonsense gets into peoples heads
  12. Youd have to explain to me how damaging wearing a mask is - I understand people who are anxious or for whatever disability that can affect them, but theres plenty of leeway, no one is going to force these people who genuinely cant wear one to wear it, the hype is so overblown. The video you posted said thousands, you initially said 1.3 million if im not mistaken, was that a troll thing or what was that, its hard to keep up? Another point as you can so flippantly throw out false information, dont you think it undermines your credibility in being the one to 'expose' these conspiracies? I would argue it keeps the water muddy so that if there were any legitimate theories (which most likely there are) no one will pay attention because theres so much bullshit being tossed around, so it actually makes it harder to get to the truth of things
  13. On a wider point this is why conspiracy theorists are not taken seriously, this is complete misinformation. The picture is of a Zurich parade and has nothing to do with a protest. Theorists often complain that msm tells lies and misleads the public, but ive never seen them do it to this extent and there are memes like this daily, if msm ever did do something this it would be everywhere and seen as proof that they are evil. If the theories are definitely true, why would anyone need to fake these things? Of course it could be someone trolling but then its shared by so many of the 'truth seekers' who dont even bother to check if its true or not, so obviously their not that concerned with truth. Also think of the ramifications of this, youre basically goading Americans using a completely fake narrative to protest about masks, while not wearing masks. The hardest hit country protesting on mass without masks? How the hell can you be 100% sure especially when if youre wrong it would costs literal lives and even if youre right it literally just means people wore a mask and didnt need to. Sorry for the rant but the lack of integrity and just outright dumbness pisses me off. Fair enough research conspiracies but outright lie while complaining about others that 'lie' are manipulative? nah
  14. This test of the effectiveness of masks is quite relevant -
  15. I agree with you, I was in hospital last weekend for a few days for a separate condition. Talking with the nurses theyve experienced so much during this pandemic, one guy i spoke to had 10 patients die that he was caring for, as well as colleagues and also catching it himself and having to be off work for 2 months where he thought he would die. Emotionally and physically this man has been drained but hes still staying positive. Its such an insult to the people on the frontlines when people who have actually been protected from seeing how bad this thing is, are protesting about wearing a mask for 20 mins while they get their shopping. Ive noticed that as humans on the whole we really lack empathy and understanding of other peoples situations, these numbers of 500,000+ people dying are actual people with actual families.
  16. Heres a tip for everyone if you want youtube premium, sign up to a vpn, even if its just a trial, set the vpn to India, sign up to youtube premium on the indian site, if you do this youll get it for about $3 a month for the family account, which means you can add people to it as well (they will have to have a vpn as well). After youve signed up through the vpn you dont have to use it again, ive been paying £2 a month for over a year now
  17. Stage blues not necessarily dumb it's just that they are tied to certain beliefs and are locked into that way of thinking, so it can appear dumb if you don't subscribe to the belief that they have. But just imagine if you really, really believed that Adam and Eve were the first humans 'created' by God. Not only that but you've been taught that any doubts you have of that being untrue is the devil's work and is a test of your faith to believe the truth. Essentially you've been brainwashed so cognitively it's very difficult to accept another way of thinking or other perspectives. Within these beliefs you of course can be intelligent, but the intelligence can also be used to uphold these beliefs. Ultimately truth takes a back seat to ideology
  18. Yeah nice analogy, I think it sums it up quite well. I would just add that fully integrating each stage is essentially learning that language, so when you bypass a stage it means that you have no clue how to speak that language which would then make it harder to reach tier 2, even though you may feel your development is of a high level. I like the idea that you learn the mechanics behind language in yellow, rather than just the content of language that's a great part of the analogy as well.
  19. For me you can go forward in your development without becoming rich or even financially stable, but to truly transcend Orange you have to integrate and have a respect for its purpose. Youre not tied to it and its not your central motivation but you realise the importance of mastering that level ie the importance of how to make money if you need it. What happens when people move from Orange to Green they can demonise Orange to the extent where anything that makes a profit is bad. So i think if you can lose the attachment to it and take the lessons from it, ultimately it will aid you development
  20. Pick up is important in terms of learning the concepts, female nature, what you want, engaged but not attached, basically not being a hardcore simp, but once this is learned it should be transcended, otherwise you can really get stuck in this phase. Pick up should not be your personality, it should just be some skills in you arsenal, you don't want to end up like this guy - I think this guys take on it is better than the standard pick up artist -
  21. I think it's very important to transcend orange while having respect for it and for financial freedom. For me when I was deep in orange I was too tied to the outcome and the idea of success which held me back from financial success. When it wasn't as important to me it became easier to make money, it's paradoxical but in my experience it's what works. People who dont take their money making endeavours so seriously can be in a better position financially, without all the stress. It's to do with the abundance v scarcity mindset, coined by maslow. It can be applied accross the board for example if finding a partner is the be all and end all for you it will be such a stressful experience, whereas if you don't need a partner and have a detached, abundant vibe you'll attract a lot of people. Hard to put into practice at first but lots of value in it
  22. Before lockdown I'd been training boxing at a dedicated boxing gym for about a year. I sparred different boxers at a relatively (for me) fast pace with hard enough punches. All that to say it was rare that anyone would fight in anger or ego, if I did fight with any kind of ego of how I'm better than the other guy I would get humbled real quick. I'm fact I would say it is extremely humbling for the ego. This is important as there are lots of kids I saw coming in who had another level of dedication, discipline and respect for others (not all but 98%). Compared to others their age I would say they are potentially more developed. So you may say boxing is not high consciousness but I don't think you could say it or other combat sports are low consciousness if they're done in the right spirit, which they usually are.
