  1. Hahah it’s not something I’ve noticed. I think I’ve been pretty much the same since half a year back or something but maybe not
  2. Y’all be invested in this forum as if it’s paying your bills
  3. Maybe he means it’s not gonna get you to god realization so it’s a mistake thinking it will. But science says even short meditation has benefits, but maybe not for the mystical experiences, there you need more is my guess.
  4. Porn can easily make you desensitized so you need more and more, perhaps more hardcore stuff to get off eventually. The key in my experience to take care of your reward system is to not orgasm to it too often or to the hardcore stuff. The key is in the orgasm. If you can just resist orgasming to it, then you’ll save your reward system, it’s like the orgasm is what etches the neurological pathway in place that makes you rely on the porn and desensitizes you. So my point is if you ever try to quit porn but you end up watching it and getting turned on, don’t think “I failed so I might as well continue” because as long as you don’t reach orgasm, even if you edge, you’re not wrecking your reward pathway so you’re fine if you just stop before the orgasm My pseudo science hehe
  5. I am in the way of god Meaning the self is in the way of god. I can’t see god as long as I’m here.
  6. Is heaven a physical place or realm of some sort? Or an internal state? Or maybe both

  8. It takes a great mind to recognize a great mind. — Me
  9. 1. From whose point of view? From “gods”? Because some type of suffering just seem negative and doesn’t make life more interesting imo. 2. That’s true. I’ve heard cases of people awakening under deep suffering. But the chance is really small unfortunately it seems. It happens to only a few people, most suffer without awakening. 3. Evolution how? I don’t really understand. Like if we take chronic illness for example , do you mean that people die from illness and those with better genes and health survive so that’s evolution. 4. that’s right, the hard work it takes to get to the top. That’s a struggle we could choose.
  10. I see your point. I think the answer is quite nuanced and it depends on the suffering. For example the suffering you feel when you don’t wanna workout but do it anyways, it’s “worth it” becuase you’ll be closer to your goals if you do workout. The suffering you feel from a heartbreak, is that worth it? Maybe you learn from it not to become too attached or something to someone . So in that sense it was worth it. The pain from a chronic illness? Maybe not worth it. Maybe some things are just bad and don’t offer any worth. So it depends
  11. Trying to adopt a mindset to see struggle as essential or worthwhile somehow is a sneaky way of trying to struggle less. So you’re trying to reduce the suffering at the end of the day. Nothing wrong with that as it’s the natural reaction. I’d say struggle just is, suffering just is, and whatever mindset you adopt about it is just an extra add on to make you feel better somehow
  12. Ok I see
  13. damn 25 is soon Yea it’s nothing to think much about now
  14. Thanks for the input. I will use myfitnesspal
  15. Does anyone know if this is a useful tool? It costs just a little money so I wanna know if it’s worth it. I don’t calorie count strictly because it’s not necessary to know with full accuracy how many calories I’m eating, but I’m wondering if this is a good tool to get an approximate amount, something to use sometimes when you wanna know approximately how much you’re consuming. For those who don’t know you take pics of your food and it calculates how many calories it is.
  16. When do you wanna have kids?
  17. Basically you’re normal I like for my children to save a lot of money so they can eventually move out. Depends on the salary too like sometimes it’s low and minimum wage then i wouldn’t take money but if it’s a good salary then maybe yes
  18. Admit you just wanna spread your chad genes, wanna make sure your lineage survives Jokes aside I have a thing against parents who make their children contribute to paying the bill
  19. You’re the last person to accuse someone of being hard to understand #burn Roast aside I meant that what’s the harm in seeing having children as a divine purpose as long as you mainly want them as people and love them properly for who they are
  20. I don’t see how that would be, you’re still having the children becuase you want them as people so you’ll love them properly for how they are
  21. Takes a highly developed conscious person to create such children and make it into a divine purpose
  22. I would say I agree. Breeding more people into a good life is a good idea
  23. I don’t value nationality much
