  1. I think it’s fine as long as you’re aware of it being in the dream. So it’s like right now I am aware that I’m in operating from the dual dream. So you’re not fooling yourself.
  2. Yea right. That’s why I’m open to different perspectives. There’s different ways of talking about the absolute
  3. I think a kind of natural niceness comes from your own wellbeing, but you don’t have to do extra beyond basic respect and manners, meaning going out of your way to be nice. That’s not necessary. So a natural niceness doesn’t have to pay off because it’s a reflection of your internal state, it’s how you carry yourself it doesn’t have to benefit you. Being nice in a natural well mannered respectable way (not the extra way) shouldn’t be an outstanding quality of yours, but rather just how you naturally are, the bare minimum.
  4. I’ve been wondering lately if there is some truth to this detoxing thing
  5. Yea I also resonate with some non dual talkers who emphasize that it’s hopeless, nothing to get etc because there’s no you to get it. That’s how it is in the absolute sense. But it seems that in the relative domain, in our normal life, it can happen that the self structure can soften or partially dissolve. That’s kinda what I feel happened to me. So it’s like the self seems to have many “layers” to it, it’s thick and dense, and layers can shed. But it’s still mileeees away from the total absence.
  6. It’s one thing to know the idea about this all being a narrative vs actually seeing through it. The latter seems the hard part
  7. Damn that’s tough❤️. I can overthink suffering in my mind too. And wonder to myself how others can seem so chill about it, but maybe it’s just how they seem on the outside, can’t know how they are on the inside unless you explicitly ask. I wonder to myself if resistance causes suffering or is suffering something inherent. So is a negative emotion or physical pain inherently suffering , or is it the resistance to it (something the mind does) that causes the suffering? Maybe I should make a post about it
  8. Do you also have this problem of imagining yourself suffering in your mind when you are presented challenges and it’s like your imagination is worse than it actually is? Maybe just me
  9. I’m so chill I have used my far sightedness so little that I’ve become nearsighted. #modernproblems
  10. Hope is lowkey illusion of the mind. Either something happens or it doesn’t, either it gets resolved or it doesn’t, what you believe in your mind and which gives you strength to continue is all in your mind. Not saying it’s a bad thing tho, illusion doesn’t mean bad
  11. Maybe I’m biased but the profile pic kinda makes you look insane
  12. Questioning if you’d go insane is first step to avoid insanity. Something else would be openness (to being wrong for example), total self honesty (this can be hard, because sometimes it can be hard to distinguish between what is your own ideas and what is reality, if there even is such a distinction). Don’t resist insanity too much. Because it means you’re holding on too much to what you perceive as your “sanity”, which is usually a state partly biological partly conditioning. It’s not ~necessarily~ better than insanity in all cases. Embracing insanity might allow you to explore a non conventional state of mind, which could potentially give you value. Ask yourself, are you willing to explore altered states of mind or do you value your current normal state too much and don’t wanna risk getting stuck somewhere else?
  13. Nice. So yea us humans ultimately want to suffer less and be more happy, and some say we long for our non dual nature. So it’s two ways to go about it, you can improve yourself and your life on human level and create as much happiness you can that way, or you can open yourself and that can as you say make human structure less sharp, maybe it “deactivates” it a bit, and lessen suffering and increase happiness that way, and simultaneously fulfill that “longing” for our nature. Both seem somewhat difficult tho.
  14. Very good and short answer
  15. So there’s a clear difference in being caught up in the form and only seeing the limited form vs seeing the totality. Like two completely different realities
  16. I looked at it. I’m no better than a man. Better than p***y t**ture at least 🤣
  17. Sounds like seeing through the mind to me. Which is like seeing through the self, it’s all one structure
  18. That’s crazy I was talking about this today Actualized.org “telepathy” 🤣
  19. It seems all my mind does is interpretation I don’t know to turn it off
  20. I didn’t know that was related to clairvoyance
  21. Yea I know right. I am lucky to not deal with pain yet in my life but you never know what happens we all could get affected at some point so it’s good to know there is alternative route even if it’s hard
