Ok. I’ve been trying to pin point what the self is but I can’t seem to do it

Does the “seeing-through “ just happen spontaneously if it does, ? because it seems impossible to try to make it happen through effort if there is already nobody but it seems like someone is here

I’m not enlightened, although I’ve had maybe what could be called awakening, but some things just make sense or seem true intuitively. Like there being no actual separation. The self being illusion somehow. That everything is appearing simultaneously, everything being possible , that it’s all the same substance, that nothing is the same as everything, reality being infinite. As if it’s possible to know this intuitively without even having had a glimpse of non duality . But a lot of people seem stuck in for example science paradigm. So this is not intuitive for them. They really can believe reality is limited. I don’t see how it would be. Would you agree one can intuit these things somehow?

It’s crazy how this can be so clear intuitively somehow yet I can’t see through the illusion of self, if it even is an illusion .

@Clarence I personally believe in some kind of reincarnation . Spirituality is so broad it is both the abstract absolute stuff and the more tangible concrete stuff in new age so ofc there’s bullshit in new age and with everything there is risk of getting stuck in paradigm but i think its good to explore different stuff , spirituality doesn’t have to only be the non dual stuff

I do feel like I’m separate but still intuit the non duality . Actually becoming directly “conscious” of it is another thing I haven’t been able to

I remember thinking about such also at a young age. For example how time doesn’t really exist Maybe your interest in Leo’s work is that spark in you and he is speaking to it

I remember finding Leo as a teen and resonating so hard Self Awareness is key I find that too

I’d say I’ve had since young age higher baseline state so it makes sense. Although I wonder what you mean by baseline state? Is it the same as saying less dense egomind. So less dense/thick egomind = higher baseline state of consciousness

What does inertia mean in this spiritual context I keep seeing that word. Does it mean like the physics definition so unwillingness to change or something

To feel safe maybe? I don’t know if I’m getting you . But I’ve been thinking about similar things. I thought how when we are young and our sense of self is forming, the appearance is maybe unknown and this sense of separation is scary, so the mind creates this conceptual self and reality that we get attached to to form a sense of safety or something. If I am making any sense.

I was thinking along those lines too

Pain is still pain and it’s suffering but someone could have a positive mindset still and live with it but they still suffer the pain isn’t it so.
