  1. Reading this reminded me of something I read about Whitman - Whitman lived in a state of heightened awareness. To him, the world was a fantastically real, beautiful, and fascinating place. As Bucke writes of him: “His favourite occupation seemed to be strolling or sauntering about outdoors by himself, looking at the grass, the trees, the flowers, the vistas of light, the varying aspects of the sky, and listening to the birds, the crickets, the tree frogs, and all the hundreds of natural sounds. It was evident that these things gave him a pleasure far beyond what they give to ordinary people.” With this heightened awareness, Whitman sensed the sacred aliveness of the world and the radiance and harmony of a spirit-force pervading every object and creature. The whole world was divine, including his own being and body. As he writes in “Song of Myself”: Sound familiar?
  2. @Aakash That sounds a bit too concrete. Too much of a plan. What does @Nahm have to say about this? You wanna get there but wanting to get there is the very thing that keeps you from it.
  3. @Aakash Do you notice seeing the ox only happens in your absence? That bitch that fucked you is truth and it has it's safegards. Think of it more as a bouncer that threw the ego out on it's proud ass.
  4. @MM1988 How many years have you spent creating the dream? 20, 30, 40 maybe more? When you were young you were much closer to truth. But over time you slowly strayed from truth replacing it with all the conceptual knowlage which now must be undone.
  5. @Javfly33 Sounds like you had your first glimpse of the ox's tail as the saying goes.
  6. @Tom T Art Of Living Without Food There is an ancient myth about the people of Atlantis. According to Greek mythology Atlantis was the most perfect civilization in the world only the worthy could be a part of this civilization. If myths are to be believed then the people of this perfect civilization lived without food. Even today there are people who reject food and live on the energy of the sun that they absorb directly. They are called Breatharians. The Breatharians know the art of living on light and energies derived from the sun. But it is no magic trick. The spiritual leaders in an India have named this technique as the Prana Yoga.
  7. Truth takes no effort as ignorance does.
  8. @OneWithAll Wher'ed you go newbie? Come back and rejoin the circle. Allow all things to pass.
  9. God doesn't make mistakes. Only illusions do.
  10. @traveler I had the gall bladder removed about a year ago I had the same concerns as you in the back of my mind. I'm telling you once I was out I was OUT! It was so deep when they woke me after the surgery I felt like I was reborn. It was deeper than the deepest sleep you'll ever get at night. It was kind of funny too in a way b-c when they did wake me I felt a little irritated having to come back to this cold, loud, harsh reality.
  11. @SQAAD IMO the first big mistake ppl make when trying to apply the paranormal to their life in some way is by using the mind. The mind will get it wrong every time and just gets in the way of true paranormal ability.
  12. @Jack Walter Leon Is yours? Because just as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow it will be tested.
  13. @OneWithAll That's a wonderful thing. I do too to some extent but not everybody has the land to grow wheat to make their own bread. Plus most ppl can't survive on only bread and water like you.
  14. @OneWithAll Great advice! Never leave home especially to go grocery shopping for food or you'll bring misfortune on yourself.
  15. @SoonHei Yes, from the the ego/mind perspective that is what was experienced.
  16. Maybe surrender was too strong of a word to use. Lets just say "completely letting go of everything including the thought of letting go". Flowers and butterflies - There was nothing to be experienced as there was no experiencer. It wasn't scary, pleasent, or anything.
  17. I've encountered a void once or twice in meditation. While in perfect stillness of mind suddenly appeared a void in awareness like a black hole opened up that was darkness within darkness. I didn't enter into it as it snapped me right out of the meditation it was so unexpected. On another occasion while meditating I was in something like a state of Samadhi (perfect pure bliss consciousness) and when I surrendered to it I completely vanished. I didn't exist. So yes it was devoid of all experience unlike the experience above. But maybe that's because I did enter into it.
  18. @tashawoodfall I've got something for you and it won't cost you a dime. You are going to come into some really good fortune in the next 2 weeks. Looking forward to hearing from you again in two weeks - if not sooner.
