  1. Alexa's response to your "Default Mode Network Survival Functions" request The Default Mode Network (DMN) likely played a crucial role in human survival through several key functions. It enabled early humans to internally simulate and plan for potential challenges, allowing them to anticipate threats and strategize without physical trial and error. The DMN also supported social cognition, helping individuals understand others' intentions and emotions, which was vital for cooperation and conflict resolution in group settings. Additionally, it facilitated memory consolidation during rest periods, allowing for learning from past experiences and adapting behavior in changing environments. Sent from Alexa
  2. The astral plane is a supernatural plane of existence proposed by esoteric philosophies, some religious teachings, and New Age thought. It's often described as a non-physical dimension where consciousness exists beyond the physical world, associated with dreams, out-of-body experiences, and spiritual travel. Sent from Alexa
  3. What I was referring to would be more like a form of glossolalia but with legible words. You can tell by his emotional state that he is very connected to the spiritual realm when he's shooting a video. *Think of it as divine wisdom flowing through him.
  4. He's a smart guy. And a bit of a jokester too. That's why he smashed the "Enable" button.
  5. There is a level of consciousness where one can become so connected, so focused that it takes on a life of its own and becomes infinitely spontaneous.
  6. There's nothing like the smell of Bug Bomb in the morning. It smells like...... Victory. -A play on the movie: Apocalypse Now.
  7. You remind me so much of my ex. G.F. Lol When she would drink, she would get a bug up her ass and start twisting everything I said. And even though to the sober mind it made no sense at all. In her mind it was working for her.
  8. "Please don't moon the tigers". It makes them hungry.
  9. When a mosquito lands on your balls it is no time for violence.
  10. Tigers like to start their meal by eating an open orifice first. That way they can gain easy entry into the body cavity.
  11. @UnbornTao You have to try it sometime. Overcome that imaginary fear. If you don't hurt it, it won't hurt you. Seriously. It's the people who panic around bees and wasps that get stung. Or by sheer accident.
  12. After reading that I had to check your warning points. As expected you're stacking them up fast.
  13. And that black wasp could have still stung me.
  14. Are you familiar with a "Bear Taco". Em Good! That's a guy sleeping in a hammock at night in bear country.
  15. @Hojo I have a garden with tomatoes and different types of peppers. The tomatoes in the change of season have become weak and have succumb to disease. And the pepper plants the leaves are turning yellow and the plant itself has stopped growing. But it's now putting all its energy into new bud production. Literally hundreds of buds on each plant. The peppers are going crazy with bud production since the sunlight hours have shortened.
  16. I was sitting in the yard this afternoon and saw a black wasp. I extended my finger in front of it, and it crawled on. Being that it's fall in my location the wasp seemed to be a bit lethargic. Probably approaching the end of its life cycle.
  17. @Joshe Thanks for sharing that positive story. Glad to hear about your mom. Hope she lives to a ripe old age. @Jowblob @UnbornTao I moved our vegan discussion over to @Bashar's Vegan topic that he just started so we don't hijack this guy's topic too much. It's also better placed there for future reference on the subject.
  18. Hi @Bashar Hope you don't mind me moving this discussion here where it is more on topic. Thanks! Just watched your video's. Good stuff! My daughter and her husband are firm believers in eating mostly veggies and some fish. Both of my grandchildren are growing healthy and wise/smart. I'll be sure to share your vids with them.

  20. I knew a guy back in the day who took the Transcendental Meditation course, and he wouldn't touch meat of any kind. He believed the trauma of slaughtering the animal released all kinds of negative energy into the meat.
  21. Excerpt from another post: 3 hours ago, cetus said: @Jowblob I should clean up my diet and add more fresh vegetables. And you reminded me, @Leo Gura does have a video or two on healthy veggie. recipes. I'll have to look into the sattvic diet- thanks. And while we're on the subject, I also read somewhere that adding a spice called Za'atar (high in antioxidants) to your diet is good to help fight cancer. Thanks again! Great advice! @Jowblob said: The diet should be completely clean and sattvic, you can use carrot/zucchini/pumpkin for many recipes. What food actually does when its not completely clean (dead food) , its grounding you to material plane and its energies and you might experience it as heaviness/pain. The paradox is, you cannot eat everything as you please anymore until you become enlightened. I have experienced the full energetic astral body during deep sleep and its nervous system for a short time, the "normal" human body has to work its way up towards that so thats why all these things are necessary to become clean and one with god again. As much as i want myself to eat meat and many other things, i cannot do it either anymore as i will experience "the heaviness" feeling as extreme pain not out of this world.
