@PurpleTree ok, thank you
-
@PurpleTree I haven't heard of tyrosine yet, thanks for sharing.
-
Also, what about music? I love music.
-
@Ulax yeah, I know. Not sure which ones are the best though. i've had some success with caffeine but I don't know if it's sustainable.
-
@StripedGiraffe thank you for sharing. I am now also thinking that I should get my lifestyle in order before I start playing with different substances.

Can someone please clarify this point from the postmodernism video to me. I don't understand how postmodernism can reject the existence of the original intent behind the text. If we establish that "whether Leo is wrong or right doesn't really matter", then what is the issue with saying that "there is such a thing as what Leo meant objectively"? An argument that a person doesn't have a full transperency over their mind doesn't seem strong enough and kind of falls under "it doesn't matter if their intention is wrong or right". If there was a specific intent behind the video, book, etc., it shouldn't really matter where this intent is coming from or why does a person have such intent and not another. All that matters is that there was this particular intent. Am I wrong?

@Leo Gura okay, I get that. Thank you. -
@Leo Gura XD

@Princess Arabia produce as much as you can, consume as much as you can, die. Ideal scenario under capitalism.
-
And so are bullshit standards and expectations that capitalism and self-help industry in particular will brainwash you with so that they can sell you courses and coaching sessions.
-
And yet, I am yet to meet a person who does all of these and isn't on a verge of a mental breakdown. Even Leo seems to hyper focus on just a few things at a time. Just cycling or walking isn't really a holistic form of exercise and isn't sustainable in the long term. I cycle to work, 10km each way, and it definitely isn't enough Also, one may wonder how enjoyable is life where you need to condense and optimize everything to be productive enough. Okay, you are right here.

@Emerald this one

Good luck getting full after eating an apple.
-
It is not hypothetical, it is literally how my day looks like (when I am doing well) 1. You can't do shit in half an hour. A warm up alone takes 15 minutes 2. Going to the gym before work is already an optimization, working out at home is not much faster and you don't have all the equipment necessary. 3. I work 8 hours. 4. Meal prep could be an option, although I am not a fun of eating cold food that has spend a week in the fridge.
-
Eating a bag of chips or ordering from under eats is 10 times faster then buying healthy food and then cooking a decent meal. Not sure how you can optimize them to be at the same speed.
-
@Princess Arabia lets see how it looks on practice: Wake up at 5:00 and go to the gym 2 hours in the gym Get to work by 10:00 Work until 18:00 Get home at 19:00 Feel dead inside for a bit and lie down to recover for 10 min Cook for 20 minutes, eat for 20 minutes, clean after yourself. That's 20:00 Spiritual/personal development practice of choice for 1 hour It's 21:00, time to go to bed. Rinse and repeat next day. This still doesn't include socialization, family time, dating, hobbies and rest. Additionally: 1 hour of personal development/spirituality is really not that much. I didn't even include general cleaning, buying groceries, etc.
-
@HMD thank you. That's a great metaphor.
-
That's like my greatest weakness, I think.
-
@Emerald can you also answer my question about cold approach if you will have time, please?
-
I've been hearing for the longest time how eating while doing other stuff makes you overeat because your brain doesn't register how much you've ate. Today I went to a fastfood place and ate a 200 calorie salad without doing anaything else. And it actually worked. I felt full and didn't crave for more food, lol. Usually i would eat 3x bigger portion and still feel hungry. It was also kind of nice to eat outside instead of eating at home.
-
Wow, that's so nice and sweet of you XOXO
-
@Emerald that makes sense, thanks.
