  1. @Emerald what's you opinion about what the says in the first half about the soul needing to reach the perfect balance of love and wisdom? If we ignore the second half where he start giving examples. To me it seems like these are just empty words, meant to sound super spiritual, but without any substance to them. "Soul is meant to achieve a perfect balance of love and wisdom" Really, why? Who said that? "Because otherwise you light will be taken advantage of?" Why does that matter? Why should we concern ourselves with survival worries, and base our spirituality around that, when talking about soul (adopting his concept of soul for the sake of a discussion)? Why should there be balance? Why can't we just max out on both? Or max out on love and have just enough wisdom? Saying that there should be a balance, implies that love and wisdom are opposites, like ying and yang, like acid and base, why would that be the case? Why can't they complement each other independently?
  2. @Wyeth Someone actually linked a video of his in the facebook group I am in like a month ago, and already back then I felt that there was something icky about that guy. @Leo Gura I remember you mentioning a few times how people criticise you for being arrogant and over confident about the things you teach. I don't know what it is exactly but somehow when you talk about God and spirituality, or even politics, with "confidence" – you sound okay to me. But when guys like this one talk about mass awakening, or being beyond politics and having a more nuanced view of things than the average person, or just in general try to sound all high and mighty, and super spiritual – they seem so sleazy and full of shit to me, it literally makes me cringe. It's like: yes, you might come off as overconfident sometimes, but you always seem like you do it with integrity and like there is an actual reason for you to be so confident about it.
  3. @The Renaissance Man no worries, I know what I want to do. Thanks
  4. @The Renaissance Man ok, perfect
  5. @The Renaissance Man thanks. Did you follow a specific program for building muscles?
  6. @Hardkill The more I think about it, the more I realise that I don't want to bother with all that stuff. I guess I will just train normally and let my body figure out the weight.
  7. But that's what I wanted. I guess it's not possible, but i wanted my weight stay the same, just switch fat for muscles. I see, that's a shame
  8. @Nilsi you are welcome.
  9. @Nilsi Lmao, good luck achieving any kind of advanced state of consciousness, with this mentality. Everyone deserves love and respect, no matter who they voted for or how they dress. Besides, he shared a variety of different brands with totally different styles. If you choose your clothes out of fear of being lonely and unloved, I am really sorry for you. Personally, I prefer to express myself however I desire and am only interested in women who will love me for who I am. And btw, I guess you have never seen climbing shoes, because barefoot shoes are literally the polar opposite of them.
  10. @Nilsi you have contributed nothing but negativity to this thread so I don't think you should be the one to talk. And that's just straight up not true. There are all kind of women, it's not their problem that you are so judgemental that you immediately disrespect and dismiss them simply because they don't conform to your very narrow sense of style.
  11. @Adam M was your Hashimoto's cured by this book?
  12. @Javfly33 thanks
  13. Now, I am just a boring, blue shoes guy
  14. I actually ended up returning the shoes because they have wool in it and after learning more about wool I didn't want to use it (and getting all the hate from you guys sure made the decision easier, lol). Instead I've just bought these:
  15. @Javfly33 sure, I am open for recommendations if you still feel like it. I am at around 175cm height, maybe a bit taller but I haven't measured my height in like 5 years, so idk. I weight about 80kg (I've actually gained some weight lately, my normal weight is 71) not sure if this counts as slim or not. I am white. My hair is brown. I can't call myself muscular right now but normally, when I workout, I am kind of slim/muscular.
  16. @Leo Gura I remember you saying a while ago that some of their courses were worth watching if you could find them on torrents. Do you still think so?
  17. Was this thing really so big that he was called the most hated man in the world, lol?
  18. What do you think about this? I remember @Leo Gura commenting on him interviewing right wingers and saying something like: "he just wants to be the biggest interviewer". Looks like it's more than that for him.
  19. Disclaimer: Not sure what the right sub forum is for this post so I decided to post it in the "wisest" one I've realised that I am struggling to stay consistent with vegan diet because I was out of touch with why I want to do it and my values. I just got into this groundhog day of trying to eat vegan, failing, trying again, failing again, etc. etc. And so now I am thinking that one of the best ways to get super clear on why you want to do something is to have it questioned and challenged by other people. So, here we go: Essentially, I want to eat a vegan diet because I love animals. I care about them, I feel a lot of empathy and compassion towards them. Seeing them hurt makes me hurt emotionally. I would never hurt an animal with my own hands, so the only reason I am able to eat non vegan food is because it is so disconnected from the process of actually acquiring it (which is why I think that I really need to get in touch with my feelings and "why?"). Also, it's important to note that I do not call myself vegan, because I still want to use some animal products, like beeswax and ethically sourced wool. And because I don't want to put labels on myself in general.
  20. @Salvijus it's actually crazy how brainwashed people are, just because they've been living in a society that kills and abuses animals since they were born. Just think about it from the perspective of an alien. Scenario one: Breeding an animal and then buying it to keep as a pet for your personal gratification. Causing it many genetic health issues due to breeding them to look "cute" Brutally killing hundreds of other animals over the span of many years to feed it. In some cases, dumping it in a shelter to get euthanised because you got bored of it or it's too much of a pain in the ass. Scenario two: Adopting the dumped animal, feeding it maybe not the best but mostly okay diet while avoiding deaths of hundreds of other animals. The idea that the second option is the radical one is bewildering to me. To me it sounds like a decent, reasonable compromise.
  21. I guess chewing on raw meat is very pleasant.
  22. Yeah, and I gave you examples of how hypocritical it is.
  23. How is tofu or tempeh cheating, lol? Not my fault you can't cook
  24. Oh well, my common sense is saying that you are talking our of your ass and have no actual knowledge or experience to back it up.
