No, you said that you are botheres by the way people treat plants. How they also have feelings and deserve respect to. Please advise in what way is your treatment of plants (and by extension animals, since you advocate for everyone being treated with equal respect) different from other people's. -

@Quader so basically your solution is to do nothing really but to act spiritually superior to everyone else? If the issue of cruelty is valid, what did you personally do about it? In what ways do you make sure that animals and plants that you eat are treated without cruelty and with respect? How exactly do you act from your place of pure, unclouded judgement? How? Please share with us your superior vision of the world. -

Once again, I did not shame anyone for eating meat or not being vegan. And I am not even trying to be an activist. When she talks about me shaming her, she is referring to this thread: She got upset because I've called her "but you are hurting plants. " argument stupid. Which, to this day, I think is one most stupid and hypocritical arguments you can ever use. I don't care if you are vegan or not, but this argument makes me want to facepalm myself into anther universe. -

It does and it is not. No, plants or rocks don't in fact have feelings the way animals do. So what solution did you come up with? Did you transcend eating food all together and instead found a way to sustain yourself with just air and sunshine? -

@Buck Edwards I have NEVER shamed you or anyone for eating meat. I DARE you to show me a quote where I am shaming anyone for eating meat. I only ever called you out for the dishonest, nonsensical things, that you are saying. You now being paranoid about eating chicken because you can't handle your own mind is not mine responsibility. This is literally a clickbait, troll video. It is literally called "Eating meat in front of vegan protesters", with a laughing emoji, and it is posted on the channel with random trashy videos. Like what are you even talking about? Where did you even find it? Maybe if you stopped consuming brain rot content like this, you would feel better. Like I've said, zero intellectual integrity. Just spinning bullshit and playing victim. -
Personally, I didn't find personality types very helpful, other than being a fun rpg-like thing, similar to zodiac signs, tarot cards, and other stuff like that.

He doesn't provide any sources to back up his claims over how microplastics affect our health, reducing microplastics damage, or detox protocols. Sounds like he just theorizes about how things work but presents it as facts. Also love the "donate your microplastics filled blood to other people to detox yourself" lol.

Just read the comments here, I think it's pretty obvious. A bunch of clowns with zero intellectual integrity, unable to even have a serious discussion about the topic. And this is the spirituality/philosophy/personal development forum. Elsewhere is even worse. -

So you are suggesting that a spiritual person shouldn't meddle in political affairs at all? If I want to be spiritual I need to be completely detached from the real world issues? Also, if you care so much about radical acceptance, what about accepting your spiritual ego? -

Why? According to who? What's wrong with treating animals as children? -

Wdym by ascribing altruism? Mind elaborate? Silly strawman example that has very little to do with what veganism actually advocates for. Are you able to give any serious examples of how people going vegan would harm our society. Lets say 50% of human population went vegan, drastically dropping demand for animal product. How would that undermine society as well as natural ecosystems? Also, I love how you conveniently not consider animal farming as something that undermines natural ecosystems. When its effects are disproportionately larger than what some random vegan activists could do in a 100 years if they made raiding mink farms their favorite weekend activity. -

@Buck Edwards so you post a video of trolls intentionally coming to a vegan protest to start conflict provocation and then act surprised when people get into an argument with them? Makes sense. -
Isn't that kind of close minded?

Specifically using hypnosis for personal development, to rewire your brain, deal with anxiety, insecurities, negative thinking, etc. Personally, I like the idea of being able to work on your subconscious mind in this kind of indirect, relaxing way, where you can just listen to an audio before / during your sleep. But the idea that I am just letting my mind be programmed by somebody else, even if it's being programmed with positive mindsets, kind of bothers me. Shouldn't we take control and more proactively dig into our minds to deconstruct all the bullshit inside and align them with Truth? Or am I being too idealistic about it? What do you guys think? P.S. This question also applies to all kinds of affirmations, subliminal messages, and other stuff like this.

@Michael569 thank you

Like when your instincts and your intuition tell you that there is something shady about them, and there are those minor things that make you suspicious, but on the surface they are nice, and you have no real evidence or proof of anything, so you just go along with whatever they are doing. Until it's too late and you are fucked.

@Kairos I meant dying from a terminal illness that can't be cured in any normal way. This is a plot of a tv show.
-
@trenton true, although I was asking more about your personal life. @Emerald what if you can't create a distance, what if you need to make a decision and make it quickly? Like what if your friends are dying and there is this woman who can cure them. But in order to do that she needs you to let her in to the house where you and your friends live, and where you know she is forbidden from going, in the middle of the night, so that she can perform a magic ritual. You also have to participate in that magic ritual which involves cutting yourself for blood sacrifice and drinking a suspicious "tea" mixed with blood and different herbs or whatever. You have known this woman for some time now and she is very kind and sweet in general, but sometimes she will avoid answering some of your questions and will ask you to do things that might be pushing some boundaries. Would you go for it or would you just let yourself and your friends die without even trying?

@Rigel japanese sleep on futons not the floor itself. I don't see any physiological benefits or differences to sleeping on the floor vs on the bed frame, you can put any kind of mattress/futon you like on either of them. The advantages of a bedframe are: - your room looks less messy - in case you have carpet floor - the air you breathe will be less dusty - there is an airflow underneath your mattress so it won't get moldy or something like that. The advantage of just a matress on the floor is that you can move it during the day, to have more space. Or even roll it, if it's thin enough. But I don't think this is very useful if you have a giant 160-180cm mattress anyway.
-
Also, is it bad if one side of the bed is up against the wall? 160cm bed would fit perfectly into my bedrooms corner, and I imagine it would feel really cozy there. My concern is that it will not be big enough, especially for the person who is up against the wall. I imagine most people prefer to sleep with some open space in front / behind of them. I could go for 180cm bed, but I would have to put in the middle of a room, in a perpendicular way, and it will basically take up all the space there is. Leaving just enough of it to get up and walk around the bed / get to the closet, which will be in about 50cm in front of it.

Thanks for sharing. King size is 180, right?
