This is honestly one of the most astonishing things in cosmology and biology that isn't talked about very much at all. Our planet is surrounded on all sides by galaxies and dark matter intentionally arranged in what's known as the large scale structure of the universe, which appears damn-near identical to the structure of the neural network found in our own brains. I'm not joking. There is a giant brain in space that spans the entirety of the observable universe and nobody seems to notice. Now I'm an idealist, personally. The brain, and even the cosmic brain for that matter, is an appearance in consciousness. Notice there is no evidence of a brain that has appeared outside of consciousness. All evidence of brains, perceptions of brains, measurements of brains, and observations of quantum collapse were all perceived/measured by conscious agents with minds. You cannot remove the scientist from the observation of quantum wave collapse, or even yourself for that matter. To measure a quantum field is to become entangled in a new branch of reality of which you perceive currently as an eternal present. By intercepting, interpreting and shaping the incoming light waves you are collapsing light into matter as you are moving through an electromagnetic field spanning the entire Cosmos. A mind is simply an entangled system of information. Light is information. From a quantum physics perspective, the entire Universe is Light, entangled with itself at varying frequencies. The more deeply entangled an object is with another the more entangled it is in spacetime. Yet this cosmic brain is the size of the entire observable universe. It's push and pull on the curvature of spacetime and its influence on the very electromagnetic field that our own brains operate in cannot be understated. This cosmic brain is communicating with our biological brains. From an evolutionary standpoint, this adaptation was supremely helpful to not only our survival, but our own self-awareness and love of consciousness. Life, learning of this field of light through natural selection, evolved neurons to conduct intelligent information present in the electrical field, favoring resonant Light frequencies (Love of Infinite Light) to guide our organism into in harmonious existence with its environment. Light selects for survival, then self-awareness, then love, then wisdom, then unity. Think of all the times someone had an experience of God enlightenment because they managed to still the firing of their own brain long enough to form new connections in the plenum of tissue that correspond to a revelatory idea. Then it gets written down in a holy text or communicated in a YouTube video. Our brains are capable of channeling information from this cosmic mind, and this cosmic mind is sending us much love and light from above, praying for our awakening. Since your local mind always appears finite, it forgets its origin as an infinite singularity and perceives itself as a finite being in a assumedly infinite Universe, yet it can never know it's infinite nature without annihilating itself. So the Universe goes through infinite cycles of death and rebirth as beings at varying densities of consciousness. Carl Sagan put it well. We are a way for the Cosmos to know itself. The light entering your body is highly ordered and contains an incredible amount of intelligent information. In an open mind, an open heart, you increase communication with the cosmic mind, your Higher Self, who sends love/light which, when integrated, heals the body of its physical and mental ailments. Furthermore, there have been people who pointed out that the Laniakea Supercluster in which the Milky Way resides also resembles the human heart, and even the human lungs. Now what would you trust with your life to regulate your breath and keep your heart beating? Your own egoic impulses, or a rhythm from the infinitely intelligent and benevolent Universe?

So, I appear to have will of some sort. But the Earth also appears to be willing me downwards. But my will is simultaneously the Earth's will, because I am the Earth. I am the entire Universe. So, I am willing myself towards the ground. If this will is all that exists... what is my will free from? Itself? Or nothing at all? You see, the term free-will implies there is something other than will to be free from. So, I don't just have free will. Will is totally unbounded. I am Infinite Will. And using this infinite will that I am, I will all of spacetime into existence, right now, forever. -

Slowly changing one's relationship with pain so that it is constructive to your wellbeing is a benefit to doing spiritual work. Will it cure cancer? Probably not, but I guarantee becoming more mindful of your body will greatly reduce your risk of developing cancer. The body has natural mechanisms for preventing cancer. The idea is you get out of your body's way and let it do the rest, it is after all a billion year old survival machine. Not sure why you think this is elitism. I'm not gatekeeping anyone from doing their own spiritual work. I'm simply offering an explanation why someone might feel they have no time for airy-fairy things like meditation and enlightenment when they feel that time would be better spent keeping bread on the table. The benefits of sitting in meditation (literally doing nothing) are not nearly as obvious as having food and a roof over your head. You and I were the very same Universe before we were born, and yet we still are! Only we've mistaken ourselves as separate beings so we can maintain our individual human form. This was a survival adaptation we selected for over billions of years of biological and cosmological evolution. If I were to put a core insight into words: Reality is singular. There is one Reality, and you are Reality. Because I am Reality too, that means we are no different, and all apparent differences are merely a result of perspective. Now of course this can be understood intellectually to a certain degree. After all, Uni-verse just means one, unity. But be careful: This understanding should serve as merely guidepost, a pointer to a truth that is beyond understanding, beyond words, beyond concepts, because Reality is more than concepts. It is what is, unbounded by human logic, reason, or anything else for that matter. What could limit existence? If it had a limit, that limit would have to exist, which means it would be part of existence. Which means... Reality is unbounded by anything but itself. It is potentially infinite. Reality is an absolute, something that can't be accurately described in terms other than itself. Doesn't stop us from trying, of course. I'm not exactly a big proponent of Maslow's work. After all, you could be fairly wealthy and still be stuck in a survival-oriented mindset. Many people in the first world are! It's hardwired into our biology, just like every other animal. However, something more fundamental rests at our core. Are we driven more by fear of death, or by love of life? -

I'm not talking to a starving child. I'm talking to you, someone who has enough leisure time to post on a forum. If your major concern is survival and your next meal, of course you're not going to be in a favorable position to realize that the world is mind. In fact our biology explicitly selected out such traits in favor of a survival mindset. But what happens when survival is not a concern? Well, now that we are well fed, there's an opportunity for contemplation, meditation, recreation. Now do you NEED to be well fed to be at peace and heal? No, but it helps. A lot. Feeling better is what you feel once a condition has healed, but also as you are healing you will progressively feel better. Let's say you're in pain with a headache. The pain signals coming in from the body contain information. Within this information contains the cure to the source of the pain. The issue is we often try to ignore or cover up this pain with distractions or rumination, so healing is slowed down. The key is to mindfully breathe and allow yourself to fully feel the pain until you've received the whole message the body is sending. Then once you've understood the wound/illness sufficiently by bringing it to attention, accepting the sensation as it is appearing, you will begin to feel the pain heal in real-time. You couldn't do this unless you had some perception of pain. This is why trying to ignore pain or complaining about it only makes it worse. -

The body is in the mind. All disease is in the mind as well. I say this not to discount these things, but to empower you. Imagine yourself healthier. You'll feel better immediately. -

Okay, then back to "nondual jargon". Have you ever seen your own body without using a mind to observe it? Have you ever been sick without a mind to realize you were sick? Have you ever heard of COVID-19 without having simultaneously formed a concept of it in your mind? None of these things appear without mind/consciousness present. Ever. -

No, you're completely ignoring the enormous role the mind plays in how the body handles disease. If a mind is stressed and unfocused, filled with random thoughts about work or bills, how can it effectively regulate immune function? -

The mind is the body. They're inseparable. The body, always an appearance in consciousness. Disease, also always an appearance in consciousness. -

Ah... It turns out feelings of care, empathy, love, laughter, joy, and compassion have potent healing properties on the mind and body. The placebo proves the patient is entirely capable of healing themselves, and this is necessarily what must happen at a cellular level. The placebo is simply an inspirational catalyst. Our minds/bodies are extremely intelligent, running living code billions of years in the making. The body evolved to heal itself naturally. Though a doctor or healer may provide the environment or scenario for experiences such as relief, understanding, empathy, and the sharing of medicine, the patient who undergoes these experiences is healing themselves entirely through the intent to heal. It isn't the ice that heals the bruise, but it helps you heal yourself. How do we heal ourselves at all? Well, our identity sense certainly has no clue. Most would say it is done subconsciously, by the body, as if it were somehow separate from ourselves. However, the boundary between the conscious mind and subconscious mind is... imagined. Your subconscious mind is very much conscious, it is processing an immense amount of information to keep the body functioning smoothly. You are regulating the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system, the digestive system, the nervous system, the visual/audio cortex, etc. Not only all this, but the subconscious has many complex thoughts, many intricate and nuanced thought patterns that fire repeatedly in rapid succession, that is readily perceived on the surface level as emotion and bodily sensations. Say you wanted to heal from an traumatic event in your past. When you probe difficult emotions or memories for growth, understanding, letting go of fears and attachments to outcomes, becoming more aware of the trauma, acceptance is found within. You seek and find acceptance of these traumas, accepting into your open heart. In the case of physical wounds/illness, there may be various chronic sensations of pain or nausea. Now, there are various one can respond to pain. You might try to ignore it. But would be better off by learning and heal from pain. Sensations of pain contain the very solution to to the pain itself. In openness to sensation, you can feel pain lessening in real time, miraculously healing. The heart, as well as the brain, is receptive to cosmic rays coming in from the Laniakea supercluster, receiving cosmic rays, light and gravity from every star, galaxy and supercluster in the Universe. This contains information in the electromagnetic field of the universe that intersects our body, and induces current in our neurons. The light entering your body is highly ordered and contains an incredible amount of information. In an open mind, an open heart, you increase communication with the cosmic mind, your Higher Self, who sends love/light which, when accepted, heals the body of it's ailment. -

"Hey VSAUCE! Michael here!" Anyone remember watching his videos? No doubt he is one of my favorite YouTubers back in the day. He would introduce many concepts and ideas throughout all academia, science, philosophy and history, then wrap them up by the end of the video in a quirky, yet holistic manner. Well he did a psychology show called Mind Field a while back, in which one of the episodes documented his attendance to an ayahuasca retreat. Since that show aired he has disappeared making from his normal content for a few years. It's clear he's been doing a lot of reading on ontology, spirituality and "meta-metaphysics" during that time.

Yes, solipsism is conceptual madness. It's a bunch of illusory thoughts and ideas. And it can keep your head spinning for weeks. But it isn't the Absolute Truth. You need to make a distinction between concepts stirred up by the monkey mind and what is actually here. So... Go look at your hands!! -
