@integral Interesting perspective thanks for sharing! I would agree of course that paradigm locking your mind is a trap that makes you less spiritually intelligent. But you can do math in a construct aware way probably. When you do it a lot you might gravitate towards a certain simplistic way of thinking so you gotta watch out for that but its probably not a huge risk when you are conscious that math is simply a construct to begin with. But it could still be the case that you cant avoid structuring your mind not in a content way but in a structural way. For examples: Structuring your mind won't make you believe that math is absolute truth but it organizes your thoughts in such a way that thoughts with little common ground become completely disconnected when before they could still be connected. But maybe it makes you realize way more things. Leo said he worked hard to make his thoughts clear and simple and only because of that did he have all the insights that he had. And the benefits in working memory from math probably also help. I have honestly no idea.

I heard many people say that it is advantageous to have a structured mind. I study math to become a teacher and the side effect of studying math many people say is that it structures your mind. But is that solely a good thing? Could it have the side effect that it makes you less creative or less capable to think outside the box?

I was born in the wrong generation lmao. I was so horny at that age it hurt. Thats to big of an age gap. People develop very fast at that age. A 13 yo with a 16 yo is to much of a difference imo.

@Schizophonia I wouldnt say the opposite of organized is lazy. Although they correlate they are different things. You can do lots of hard labor and follow creative pursuits but in an unorganized fashion.

If I knew what a structured mind means deep enough I could probably answer my question. - I would say a structured mind is clear and precise - planning - ... What I fear is that the structure comes at the cost of simplification. No structure in your (human) mind can comprehend reality because reality is way too complex for that. So the more you want to conceptually understand reality the more you have to simplify I think.

Honestly I am not that scared about it hurting my physical body except my mental performance. The last time I did shrooms I had this mindfuck experience but not an intellectual one. Just a "oh this feels so weird" and it felt very dumb and I felt how my brain cells got fried. Maybe I just imagine this because I have panic that I loose intelligence because its already hard to work with an adhd brain.

@Alexop Thats a high quality response to a sloppy post on my side. I would agree it's multifaceted. But we can distinct the different cases and argue whether or not these different adhd cases make it more likely to be more conscious or not. - I think "natural" adhd as in being a dreamer could be naturally more conscious. - archiever idk. - trauma likely less conscious I was born as this dreamer kind but had many experiences of social rejection which aren't healed yet. So maybe a plus minus deal at the end.

The age difference also plays a role. Like two 15 y.o. having sex is very different then a 15 y.o. and a 30 y.o. having sex. At a certain age like when you are twenty you should do whatever you want. Before that it should only be allowed between people with a similar age and completely banned under a certain age. Thats how it is in Germany and I agree with this.

Whoa. I simply have a different opinion. Look at maslows hierarchy of needs it at the very bottom. Does this not apply to you? I mean its just a model after all maybe your psyche is very different. For me I know very well that sex is not what primarily makes a good life. I have big dreams of what my life can be and sex doesnt play a role there. But my lust for sex clouds my vision. Surpressing my sexuality doesnt work. I have to burn through some karma first then my mind is freed up to care about more meaningful things.

I see this very differently than most of you. I was desperate for sex for many years so I tried a couple of things which didnt work. I had my first time with a girl I matched on tinder when I was 22 yo. We only had a decent connection, I want that attracted to her, the sex wasn't loving it was straight bdsm dominating style (she wanted me to dominate her which I did) and all in all it wasn't a moment I like to remember that much. And you know what it was still fucking worth it even in this unideal case. I got an insane confidence boost from that and basically felt like I finally was an adult. Yes I would have loved to have a loving first time with a girl that I actually was in love with but not for the price of waiting some years. Loving sex is something you can still catch up on. Yes our society is very toxic about sex. Although being toxic about it is more of a childish behavior, adults are more likely to be supportive about it. The reason why people would be toxic about it is because biologically it's a big deal. You cant bullshit yourself out of it. Sex is a need that needs to be satisfied and distracting yourself from it won't work. If you dont make plans to get sex right now you will become more depressed in the years to come. You can do it. You dont have to go into pickup if that's not your thing just be more social. Join social events, social groups with girls your age and you will meet someone at some point pretty much guaranteed. If you start implementing these changes you can feel better immediately and relax because you now that these implementations will get you laid.

This has to be analyzed by some weapon expert. I dont know nowadays how accurately you could shoot someones ear off from a thousand meters, two thousand meters, ... if they got someone from their own to do it then they probably could let him in closer, give him a better angle... I agree with most you said above. Even when I was vegan I knew 100% that when I would face a major survival challenge I would kill animals no problem. And I continued to eat vegan because I was not in a survival situation in that moment. That was the reality I was facing. Maybe you have an identity disorder when you identify with a Stone Age hunter. Become conscious of the couch you are sitting on bro, survival challenges are different now. I recently watched a movie about nazi concentration camps. There was this pethadic nazi officer who had a mansion above the concentration camp. In the morning he light a cigar and then took a sniper rifle and sniped a few jews just for fun. Then he smoked the rest of the cigar in cowboy fashion and ate his breakfast carefree. You know I could identify very well with this guy on a metaphysical level. Even on a human level I can appreciate the power of group think and the weakness of the mind when it is in fear. I experienced how much the mind gets twisted when it is not strong enough. I could understand very well that I could be that guy if I was nurtured differently. So I identified very deeply with this guy. Yet I didnt shoot any jews to death that day.

Sometimes we get really hurt but we cant get to the source of the pain because we are caught up in life so the pain accompanies us. @integral Humans are omnivores and rely heavily on cooked food. Although we can digest a variety of food groups a plant based diet can still be healthy if planned and executed appropriately. Thats are current scientific/ biological facts. Although I now that killing is a part of nature I as a human have the privilege to obstain from that (natural) cruelty to some degree and I also have an interest to stop damage to the environment. These reasons make me decide to reduce or even eliminate animal foods that I consume. Where in this reasoning would you say is an identity disorder at place?

Another Dalton like idea: A person with such insane charisma he completely breaks normal rankings. But he has a partner/ pet/ or friend which is absolutely hideous but the person gives that thing all the approval so society recontextualizes that things as something with high worth. The nasty smell gets recontextualized as it gets a backstory like that the thing might be very natural or too above things to care about smell and the shyness as cute or intelligent and stuff like that.

Another Dalton like idea: A boss that is utterly incompetent but very active and a team that knows that but still loves their boss so much and would never put themselves above him so they put in all their genius to support the boss in making the ideas work. Because the supporters of the boss dont face the consequences of any major decisions they are all freed up from survival thinking and can make very creative decisions and because the boss is so incompetent he often goes in strange lines which create opportunities for unusual solutions to problems.
