  1. But the older you get the more you are getting soaked into the materialistic illusion so it’s easier to access these insights when you are young right? Also they show you how you lie to yourself. If I wouldn’t have taken them I would have probably digged myself deeper into a loner identity. They also show me all kinds of other psychological insights like developement problems in myself. And if you thought about existential questions long enough you just develope that desire to break through to some things. Do you think that’s all that bad when you do it at a young age? I put to much emphasis on spirituality as a whole and not enough on my personal developement because I have some development issues. But I feel like psychedelics always helped me to get more on track. They showed me how much I want to be around people and how good it feels to have your life in order. ? That were my magic truffle and lsd trips though, idk how that changes with 5meo-dmt.
  2. Objectively speaking your brain just isn’t fully developed until you are in your twenties. Plus you can easily delude yourself that you are more mature then you are especially if you are immature.
  3. Oh now I understand your question lol. It didn’t enter my mind that a person who knows big Ramy wouldn’t recognize the anatomy of the goat Ronnie Colemen ?. That picture shows the transition to the rear lat spread.
  4. Okay I kind of get that you described that well. I am mostly seeing it from the perspective that their accomplishments don’t really have value to society and it often doesn’t seem like they just do it for themself but rather for external validation. So it seems like a pointless ego game. Like to accomplish their goals they suffer because they enjoy it kind of.
  5. When we look at pure muscle mass they are pretty similar. But Rony Colemen has better muscle quality. By that I mean more detail and better shape of the muscle. Compare their chest muscle, their delts, their legs, their arms… Yes Big Ramy is big but he looks way less impressive then Rony.
  6. Idk why would something scary be an athletic accomplishment? I don’t combine those two.
  7. Oh yeah. I feel like especially for complex and hidden muscles like hamstring.
  8. Or maybe it’s directly the opposite. Like opposite sex feel a pull towards each other. I feel like in sports we often admire what we can never reach. I admire gymnasts and bodybuilder for example because I know I am just not build for that. And I don’t think much of endurance athletes because that’s what I am talented in so it isn’t really interesting for me.
  9. After every psychedelic experience you take a little bit of consciousness with you. How would you compare the effectiveness of the psychedelic after effect with sober practice in terms of raising ones consciousness in the sober state? You are soberly in a very high state of consciousness if I understand correctly and that was mainly done through psychedelics right? So I don’t know yet how much sense sober practice does besides the sober practice where you set intentions for your trip.
  10. Would that make it reasonable to do buddhist like practices to get and keep mystical states like no-self and to do psychedelics to get glimpses of higher awakenings or do you think it’s realistic to also keep the higher states with enough practice?
  11. Are the lower ones easier to keep permanently?
  12. Oh I thought this was a joke ? Nice that you have awakened to such high stages of love, but what does Alien have to do with it?
  13. With the few short awakenings I had it was a bam from 0 to 1. But I guess you need that same awakening multiple times until it’s in your mind permanently. But you only need it one time to know it’s real.
  14. IF he actually reached this Alien Infinity his reaction would be very understandable. I don’t really care anyways. I reached so few awakenings that I couldnt build much of an ego around it so there is little for me to protect. ?
  15. yep I was obsessed. After 3 months you pretty much loose all desire. It wasn’t really hard after that. I could have gone on for longer, it’s just that my life situation was still shit and it all felt pretty dumb. I didn’t know why I was even doing it anymore, it didn’t give me crazy energy or self confidence and I realized that all the people that talk about the insane benefits are just overhyping something that might have small benefits and sell it as a magic pill.
  16. I would actually love that. I have gotten used to taking a lot of what Leo says for granted. It’s hard not to if you have no other reference. So if I lost some trust in Leo I would actually be a lot better off.
  17. He also said it in the post somewhere.
  18. Yeah I thought about that for sure. It’s just that I can’t contribute all that much spiritually at the moment. And before I don’t know what awakening really is, how it feels like and all of that I don’t want to plan to teach it.
  19. I thought very deeply about life for a long time. Existential questions really penetrated me beneath my skin. I deconstructed most of my beliefs about what life is or should be about. In the process a lot of my survival motivation got destroyed. When people talk about building a great life, they often go about it in a direction where they start with small goals and progress to higher goals. For example I start with making money. If that is secured and I want more I go for pick up, fun, socializing, hobbies… If that is all great and I look for more then I go for spirituality. But for me it doesn’t work that way any more. I can’t just go and hustle to make a lot of money and build on top of that. I need the higher stuff first to justify the smaller stuff. I need spiritual awakenings to take the seriousness out of life and to fall in love with it again. Then it’s a lot easier to socialize, do pick up, do hobbies.. because it’s all in a context of a metaphysically speaking harmonious and loving world. And I don’t have to ultimately worry about sickness and death and anything that is scary because I would know that I can’t die, so I could really party. And if all that is done and I have my spiritual basis and my joy in life then I could see the point in doing some hard stuff to make a living. Otherwise what’s the point in working hard if I don’t have joy in life and will just die and end up in eternal nothingness. It wouldn’t make any sense. What do you think? edit: This is coming from an unorientated, socially wounded person having a somewhat priviliged life in a first world country with enough time of being taken care of to entertain thoughts like these. So this is not just a high conscious perspective on things but also some cope. But still I think most people zombie through life for exactly those reasons, because they unconsciously think that in the end it will all be terrible and for nothing and it rottens and bitters their psyche and so they won’t create love in the world.
  20. I study to become a teacher at the moment. My parents are financially really supportive I am very lucky. Still though it’s really hard for me to motivate myself to get through my studies. At the moment I just want to get to a place where I can afford a living with the least amount of effort as possible so I can figure all of that shit out.
  21. At least for the cooking part you can save A LOT of time if you are strategic about it. Do you use an instant pot or rice cooker for example? Oven > pan. You can precook for a few days…
  22. I think it has to with how our mind is wired. There are a lot of deep things that would make me happier then short term pleasure but my mind is addicted to that shit. And it’s just scary to renounce all earthy things. It’s like commiting suicide.
  23. It’s very difficult to balance these two but doing it makes a great character. It actually purifies the soft and the hard part. Who wants the soft part when it comes out of weakness and who wants the hard part if its without love you see?
  24. @flowboy But what about the people that haven’t found a greater meaning for their life. Your standard semi depressed drifting through life doomer? Would you say he should focus only on finding his life purpose asap or should he also focus on eliminating distractions like porn addiction so that both efforts benefit each other?
