  1. That’s true. It’s been some time since socializing felt natural for me. I kind of forgot that you can get to that point. I will take it as a motivation. Do you have anything specific in mind? There are these jobs where you have to speak to approach people on the street to talk them into donating for some good cause. I don’t really like that approach, BUT it’s basically paid pick up training. To figure out if slacking off isn’t bad for your social confidence as long as you don’t feel guilty about it? I love the idea but I don’t have enough friends to make plans for an entire week and it would also be stressful to isolate myself an entire week as well. Too much costs unfortunately. Yes. No, maybe you didn’t want to make a point but I think it’s a perfect analogy actually. I trained hard and learned a whole lot about nutrition for many years and for the past two years I just maintained my muscle mass with two workout days a week and eat healthy automatically. It’s probably the same with socializing. At the beginning you have to build up all the skills but then it’s easy to maintain them. @StarStruck I often experience a lot of emotions I don’t feel like are acceptable or like to be seen like loneliness, sadness, frustration, .. There is a guy in the theatre that I go to and I recently just saw him crying outside and a girl just hugged him all the way through. He always expresses himself however he wants without holding back. Its amazing I want to be like that guy. But the thing is that guy is also super confident. Maybe he can allow himself to express himself however he likes because he has enough inner strength. I still have to work on that.
  2. CockCalvin seems legit ?? The other ones are cringe though.
  3. What I sometimes fade out is what is going on internally like how I feel about myself and how that is connected to the present moment. Years ago I often had social anxiety from playing a lot of video games because I used it to hide from life challenges. And then I remember me after school graduation allowing myself to play video games one week straight. There was not a single bit of insecurity and I felt completely fine because I completely allowed myself to do it and didn’t feel bad about it while in other times that would have put me in a deep rut. How we talk to ourselves is so important. I am kind of lost in life right now, don’t know what direction to go and feel a bit like a looser. I probably underestimate how much that drags me down. That’s a good point.
  4. From what I understood we already hypnotize ourself all the time. If activate a social state through effort in myself that is already hypnosis. At least that’s what I think with my limited knowledge. Haven’t dived deep into the subject of hypnosis yet. I try to love myself to the best of my ability when I am the one quit guy in the group but honestly I do feel a bit guilty about it and feel that I don’t contribute anything to the group/ drag the fun down.
  5. You can learn to be funny by yourself. You can do daily affirmations. Maybe you can also learn to hypnotize yourself to be extroverted on command. I go to the theatre where I practice once a week for 1.5 hours but it’s def not enough.
  6. I was never into football. How can you say these two players are so much better then the rest? I understand that in 1v1 sports like boxing you can say that someone is the best if he has a great winning streak but in a team sport like football how can you reduce an archievement of a player to the player itself? It’s much more about the intelligence of the team dynamic and the template of other players rather then the finishing blow at the end. Nobody has a list of his top five defending football players, it’s always the top striker everybody has in mind.
  7. .
  8. I thought DDD stands for something else. ?
  9. He isn’t your diet coach, he is trying to teach you boxing. You don’t have to take 100% advice from one person just take what you want. If you think he doenst have enough of a champion mentality just learn boxing from him and take inspiration from other people when it comes to champion mentality.
  10. If only a few of the elite have the power to rule the country they will act in their own benefit and not for the people. If all people rule the country, everybody will have a voice but this makes the decision making of a country as stupid as the average citizen of the country. The ideal case would be a population of people who deeply trust their leaders which are trained to be very intelligent and wise and who only have the interest of the population in mind. That would work if everybody would selfless. But given that everybody is selfish democracy is maybe the best solution for a bad situation.
  11. Not sure, I only know a handful. But not all of them are into anal play. Depends on the individual I guess.
  12. @Someone here Epic! It’s a myth that all gay/bi guys are into anal play.
  13. I worked at a coffee job and at the supermarket before and it was okay but pretty stressful and I think the effort money ratio could be optimized. My idea is to have a job that requires little effort so I can spend most of the time productively working on my studies or whatever else. I thought about working at a casino but when I entered a casino the first time of my life I could smell the vibe of desperation everywhere. It would be a perfect fit practically but the misery there would drag me down I think and it would conflict with my values to work at an unethical place like that. Other ideas I had were babysitting, working at a small shop with little customer or working at a gas station because I heard you have a lot of free time there but I never did it myself. Any experience or recommendations?
  14. Talked to a women about it today and she said you can basically activate a certain stage of consciousnis that you programmed yourself with at command with the use of will. I personally see immense use for it for social anxiety, pick-up, motivation, relaxation, basically every aspect of life. You can make a course for a week and learn it. Sounds like one of the best investments you could make if it actually works.
  15. I think so. When you can access a motivated state on command that should work. She said that she took a course for a week in which she learned the skill of hypnosis. Not sure how much deeper you can go after that. I looked it up in the internet and there are courses in a similar time span.
  16. @OBEler You need to have had a real experience that you can then re-enter with hypnosis. Thats what I heard anyways. Crazy that that worked with your friend. I thought about using hypnosis only for practical things but maybe it’s also usable as a spiritual practice.
  17. Do you mean by games like card games, video games, sport games.. ?
  18. Chad exists through non-chad. Chad and non-chad are inseparable. You cant have one without the other. Just like you can’t have big without small because an elephant is only big in contrast with a mouse for example. If it doesn’t have something small to contrast it with it literally doenst have size and isn’t big anymore.
  19. Hold your breath. When you do it long enough your body will put you in danger mode and your boner will go away. It’s really really uncomfortable though but it works. Also relax your body.
  20. The demand for tutoring in philosophy is basically zero. I am also not interested in all philosophy texts. They are hard to read and when I disagree with certain perspectives from the start I won’t follow through. Sounds good ? Oh alright. I think the „:)“ at the end killed it for me. I also didn’t literally think that you said that, I overdid it a bit.
  21. That’s the first time I really cried since I was a child. I don’t know how god will show himself to me but most times when I had the feeling that there is a higher force behind all of it it was my awareness catching the miracolousness and love of natural phenomenon just like described in the poem. Through her poem she says that everything is okay at the end because she points to a higher truth and mitigates existential pain through that. I also always want to share my intuition with other people that everything is okay in the end. But I did not know what the best way would be. Maybe I will become a poet.
  22. Hi, I am Jannes ✌? This is my first video of my actualized journey. I can pretty much grow in all aspects but spirituality, relationships and LP are the most important for me right now. I want to take a journal to keep me accountable so it’s mostly for myself but I enjoy company on my journey. I prefer videos over text right now because it feels more authentic to me but maybe it will change in the future idk. I know that the video quality is shit and I don’t really have a plan of what I want to bring across or even how to communicate in the most coherent matter but I had fun and no journey starts with everything perfect right. That would neither be fun or authentic. ?
  23. I would read a lot of philosophy. Dividing my attention with painting probably isn’t a good idea as original philosophy texts are incredible hard to grasp. @blueberries, @Thought Art, @John Paul You are all super convinced in security jobs. But I just can’t see myself reading there. A security guy is supposed to WATCH OUT. How good of a security guy am I if I am not conscious of my surroundings? I just don’t get it. Or are you say halfassing it is good enough?
  24. That sounds absolutely fantastic. But how would I make at least 50k a year? That’s like double minimum wage.
  25. Dude I don’t even know what you’re saying. Your artistic expression escapes my linear minded understanding of things. Why would my boss fuck me in the ass? ?
