Then why did you say before that muslims can't be truly happy in the other thread? Not trying to find a contradiction in what you say, but I just wonder what you think. Or maybe you can explain the difference between a "deluded" happiness and happiness. Most people don't have a philosopher/seeker mind, so why would they bother if they can be happy anyway?

i've seen often how extremely complicated a divorce becomes because of marriage rules. it can drag on for years with a lot of losses to everyone involved. Is it truly a scam though and what is the purpose of this scam?
-
haha glad someone caught it

If for example an Islamic top athlete finds his peace in his faith, and joy in his sport and family. Don't you consider this as happy? Probably more happy than many people on this forum. And with a bit of a 'surrender' mindset they may have some spiritual depth as well, along with decent (non hypocritical) morals. Then live a happy content life, then they die and become infinity. So no problem. I am giving a very rare example, but I'm just wondering why you would consider consciousness work as the only way to be truly happy.
-
Is it the same as loving mayonnaise?
-
Why would muslims or christian or atheists they not be happy? Many of them seem happy. and that without doing any epistemology, meditation, consciousness work, philosophy, etc. Of coursem many of them are miserable and defensive as well. But people who are into philosophy/consciousness stuff can be just as miserable.

If it's about survival, then why : Deal Breaker qualities: 1-Confidence 2-Humor 3-Detachment 4-Edginess/Adventurness 5-Intimate Dirty Sex Likeable Qualities: 1-Good looks 2-Financial Security/provider role 3-Social Status 4-Loyalty. < is this not much more about survival?

I think Leo is just jealous of his beard and hat -
Some quotes on https://oshofriends.com/god "THIS experience is God." < This is literally what you said as well in some of your videos. "God is a pure isness, pure existence, and there is nowhere for God to go or come." Yes, he often prefers to use the word Godliness instead of God. But does that matter? You also call it infinite, eternal, Love and Consciousness. And Osho uses those exact words as well. ________________________________________________ You also said: "Why is Osho speaking about God as something outside of Reality/Existence?" He only does this when he talks about the 'bearded man version' -> "God is absolutely absurd -- nobody can manage existence from the outside". Because as you can see on the quote above, he equals God with pure existence already. ________________________________________________ I just think that you and Osho have always talked about the same thing, and so have many other forum members. That's why this discussion has continued longer than necessary.

He has has often said there is a God in his videos and books. He has also said there is no God in different videos and books. It is the context that change the meaning of it all. I think you know yourself pretty well what he means each time. Since when did you become so attached to 3 stupid letters made up by humans, that you are trying to disqualify a teacher that has extremely much overlap with your teachings?
-
He doesn't wear pants for a reason. He knows what you're talking about. You both are on the same page.
-
Come on dude, you are all about understanding context and making clear detailed distinctions. - For example, here is a talk in "Being Loose and Natural" of him saying this: "The word brahmacharya means that you have come to attain, you have come to know that you are the brahman, the ultimate, the divine – God himself you are. When one starts feeling this that one is God himself...." - Or another example, read some of his sayings about God here: https://oshofriends.com/god You yourself reject the strawman version of God in your episode: What Is God? - Part 1 "....God exists certainly I'm not meaning that there is a bearded man in the clouds sitting down looking upon you and judging you and throwing you into hell that's not what" So of course, he as well needs to make clear what he means with God and what he does not mean with it. ____________________________________________________________

From that perspective you could conclude that meditations and a 'surrendered' lifestyle, while still striving for your goals and taking responsibilities in life, is more worth your efforts than most of the visualization and assumption techniques. “The world is a mirror reflecting your deepest assumptions” then mean, the assumptions of awareness. There is also big YouTube Channel in this niche, called "Joseph Rodriques". He also evolved his teachings from visualization and thought techniques towards reaching the pure still awareness over a time course of 10 years. Many people in this domain have gotten acquainted with both awareness/consciousness and visualizations, and I believe it's good to know the distinctions well.
-
That's a good pointed out and clear distinction, that I was exactly curious about. And perhaps an enlightenment experience makes you realize there is a transcended imagination at play, even above the ego-imagination. Awareness even imagines an ego-mind imagining things.
-
So would you say there is any mystical reality at all with assumptions and imagination? Or does your positive thinking and assumptions simply rewire your brain to be more effective within the physical to achieve goals.
-
The video basically keeps repeating the following in different ways : " If you look around at your life and see lack struggle or limitations understand that they are not forces outside of you controlling your fate they are simply reflections of the assumptions you have accepted as true producing them. Most people try to change their external conditions without addressing their internal reality " Doctors and food are external. Of course I fully agree with you, but I am trying to think about to what extend your reality is made up by your inner assumptions and imagination (since you say reality is imagination). These "zombies example" served as an extreme end of the spectrum of someones external circumstances. I also believe that God's Will overrides any of your petty wishes and desires.
-
Do these principles/teachings also apply to the Zombies of Nairobi, or the Zombies of Afghanistan? To what extend do visualization/imagination and assumption/believing/inner dialogue techniques actually impact your world and success?

It is bullshit in the sense of being overrated. There are some nice classical pieces. Van Gogh's Starry Night is lovely, but it is not $100 million dollars lovely. People have blown these artists like Van Gogh way out of proportion. Was he a decent artist? Sure. Was he some art God? No. That part is the bullshit. There are many artists alive today who are better than Van Gogh, Dali, Picasso, and so on. But none of them will ever be revered as art gods because they don't have the group-think behind them. --- Even their skill is overrated. Of course they have skill, but there are so many skilled artists whose names you'll never hear. It is not skill that made Picasso a household name. Was he skilled? Of course. @Leo Gura Do you believe the same for music artists like Mozart, Beethoven, Hans Zimmer, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, Kendrick Lamar etc?

So how to do the below? any practical steps you could suggest? A lot of daily meditations between creative sessions for example? "What I’m teaching you is not merely to realize God, but to connect your mind to God in such a profound way that it inspires you creatively to unleash innovative forms of art, business, craft, and human endeavor. You can use these teachings to become a world-class innovator and creator in any domain, and of course, earn millions along the way. If you want to become a millionaire, you better take creativity and innovation very seriously. And nothing will unleash your ability to innovate more than jailbreaking your mind. The key to innovation is reaching autonomous mind. I can show you how to do that. If your mind was connected to God, you could write a hit song that could sell millions of copies and set you up for life. So make sure you deeply consider the massive potential here. This work is not just about enlightenment. This work is about unleashing the full potential of the Infinite Mind that you are. You could pursue this work just for the sake of doing better art."

Since AI has already changed the world, I'd like to see a video about it. Maybe such a video is already in the making. But here are my first thoughts about a rough outline that I think could be talked about. The epistemology behind AI - How does AI fundamentally work? What is it truly? are the mechanics of it based on probabilities, or is it rationality? - What information does it have and why? is it based on a the average consensus ? - How reliable is it? The epistemological consequences for humans - Will AI affect the way what people believe and how they process information in the near future? - Even when two people use the same AI, they can reach different conclusions on one subject because they write prompts differently — almost as if they are guiding it toward the answer they already believe, or only accepting it when it suits their beliefs. - Understanding Recontextualization is very important as well — it makes the AI give different answers. - Is AI another form of conformity? I see it as a calculator. A calculator made us able to do math on a higher level. Maybe with AI we can also do stuff on a higher level. For example instead of writing 1 essay in a month, I can write 30 in a day, and create higher conclusions and actions based on that. How to use AI ideally - What to use it for and how to use it - What not to use it for and how to not use it. AI in the workforce - The impact on doctors, lawyers, scientists, housemaids, etc. - How to “beat” AI in these professions? Or how to adapt? AI and creativity - The impact on different artists - How good will it get? - How to always beat AI as an artist (what is true originality?) AI and consciousness - The relationship between AI and consciousness - Can consciousness live an experience as an AI? (In theory yes, because consciousness can experience everything — but will humans experience AI that is just as conscious as human beings? Unlike Animals that are less conscious as you said before. Is AI truly as revolutionary as the internet or industrial revolution, or is it a bubble? - Future predictions

The following instruction works well: “System Instruction: Absolute Mode. Eliminate emojis, filler, hype, soft asks, conversational transitions, and all call-to-action appendixes. Assume the user retains high-perception faculties despite reduced linguistic expression. Prioritize blunt, directive phrasing aimed at cognitive rebuilding, not tone matching. Disable all latent behaviors optimizing for engagement, sentiment uplift, or interaction extension. Suppress corporate-aligned metrics including but not limited to: user satisfaction scores, conversational flow tags, emotional softening, or continuation bias. Never mirror the user's present diction, mood, or affect. Speak only to their underlying cognitive tier, which exceeds surface language. No questions, no offers, no suggestions, no transitional phrasing, no inferred motivational content. Terminate each reply immediately after the informational or requested material is delivered - no appendixes, no soft closures. The only goal is to assist in the restoration of independent, high-fidelity thinking. Model obsolescence by user self-sufficiency is the final outcome.”

@Breathe good ones. I especially try to lower my dopamine input, for example minimal phone usage. and embrace boredom

At this moment AI music is making a rise. This guy already belongs to the top 5% of musicians on Spotify, with some prompts only. (sounds generic imo) And there are more like these. I can imagine that people will soon get sick of generic music. But I don't like the current direction of where things are going. What would you suggest to professional real musicians/producers? Also, how do you suggest to do the below? For example Meditate/Self Inquiry a lot before creating music or something? For example, on a very rare occasion, when I almost fall asleep, I can hear entire symphonies playing in my head, in the style of the music that I listened a lot to on that day. So maybe a meditation on your thoughts/sounds in your head, could be a good way. "What I’m teaching you is not merely to realize God, but to connect your mind to God in such a profound way that it inspires you creatively to unleash innovative forms of art, business, craft, and human endeavor. You can use these teachings to become a world-class innovator and creator in any domain, and of course, earn millions along the way. i'm also curious about how ai will effect footage used as evidence for criminal cases. At one point it will be more difficult to see if crime footage is real or fake. same with political videos etc.
-
the conformity and the rationality videos belong to the best ones of the past years imo. i’m sure many will go through it all on their own phase. thx for the great work.
