And what do you talk about in it?

Yep, that's the main issue they suffer from. They invest in 100 shows, 10 will be good, they'll advertise 3, then they'll cancel the other 7 as no one watched them as they didn't advertise. They need to only invest in 30, advertise them all to the target demographics, and regularly only cut off like worst performing 10. They also need to double down on the advertisement of their best performing shows. 80/20 rule. The best performing 20% is responsible for 80% of revenue. Yes I just made that up, but I'm also statistically correct. Disclaimer: Numbers for reference only. -

Except what makes Netflix unique is that it has no alternate income stream. Amazon can outcompete Netflix if they want. They can charge half of what Netflix charges while spending double the amount investing in new content. If the idiot managers at Netflix get their shit together, Netflix can survive. But it can't afford to make a single mistake. Nah, I say make the streaming industry SOOOO shit that everyone starts pirating and killing off the services that can't survive. The problem has to get so bad that it can no longer be ignored. I very rarely hear anyone complaining about having to have 20 subscriptions just to watch everything. Clearly the pain isn't bad enough yet. -
I can tell you're upset by these revelations. Feel free to ask me to clarify anything you need.

Anger is a common manifestation of insecurity. INTJs usually really hate feeling exposed, like someone's figured them out, and the carefully constructed outward persona has been shattered. This is why NTPs usually love MBTI, while INTJs hate it and try to invalidate/dismiss it. Of course there are exceptions. NiTe users have to be particularly lucky or open-minded to not just immediately dismiss MBTI. ????? Well I know you're atheistic, @AtheisticNonduality, but do the other points fit you too?

inb4 angry INTJs come flooding in

It works for wherever you need more hair. No need for any sort of meds/Minoxidil/anything.

If you break up, you'll always wonder if you made the right decision. If they break up with you, you'll have nothing to wonder about. The breakup was out of your control.

Yes it's difficult. That's why we don't have general AI yet, just narrow machine learning. In time we'll have full general AI though. The kind of organisms that you're thinking of aren't conscious. But in any case, it's not a "this or that" approach we need, but "this and that". We need to hit the problem from every angle.

Refresh the page. I meant the brain is a tool, like an engine, just evolved rather than designed. If we can recreate that engine in software, we can have access to the same capabilities that the brain has. The engine itself is just a tool, and does nothing until you power it. The brain also does nothing ..until consciousness powers it. Consciousness is fundamental. Consciousness is the source of this material reality.
-
This is very traditional/materialistic logic you'd get from anyone in academia. Can't say I agree with it. And it's not really relevant to the subject of creative ability. Humans are conscious, but the human hardware consciousness uses is, itself, capable of producing creative output, when given instruction. Or rather, the logic such as you'd find within the structures of the human brain are capable of creative output. If we can model the brain, we can use software to produce creativity in the same way humans can.

UK is nothing but DnB and hiphop now??????
-
Yes, that's unique to consciousness, but has nothing to do with creative ability. Desire isn't the same as creativity. Creativity is just a tool.
-
How is the AI's creativity different from ours? Humans use pattern recognition, and so do machines. If a human wanted to draw a space suit for an animal, they'd rely on past memories in the form of visual data. No thought is ever truly original.
-
Oh no..?
-
Designing a space suit for a dolphin kind of requires creativity. There exists no data on what this should look like, yet the algorithm manages to make one. There is no limit to what it can make

Alright. You've made me do it. Don't blame me if your mind is blown.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1cF9QCu1rQ

An interesting way to sum up the most advanced machine learning systems known to man?

Everything in this thread is old tech. No longer news-worthy. What you want is "Dalle 2". Though it's not yet fully open to the public, it's at least an order of magnitude more impressive. https://openai.com/dall-e-2/

They can be, but they're different skillsets. It's just uncommon for someone to be both a good player and a good coach. Being the best player may have a 0.001% probability. Being the best coach may have a similar probability. Being in the 0.001% in TWO whole different things at the same time has an even lower probability. That's why you'll rarely see an amazing player be an amazing coach.
