Again, it's a man-made problem. There is no reason euthanasia must cost millions. How much does a bullet cost? If it's voluntary then there should be no legal drama too. Should cost less than $50 to have someone killed, any more than $1k is a complete scam and a product of corruption. -

That's 100% a man-made problem, and who gets that money anyway? Just lawyers and whatever other Americans. I'm not seeing a real problem here. -

Well there are. You just offer euthanasia on top of everything else. -

Euthanasia. Once stigma around it disappears, I'm sure it will become an option for prisoners. It's more humane, and saves money. Well that's a very Red thing of you to say. -

Yellow would say it should be made available, but not forced on anyone. This is the only acceptable answer. -
?? Does everyone on the forum have ADD?

It's better than the alternative though. You're unlikely to ever get cancer from edible/vapable tobacco products. If you allow yourself to vape, for example, then to never smoke again in your life actually becomes a realistic target. And when you one day realize you never get cravings for cigarettes anymore.. then you can replace the vape with something else again, maybe something slightly healthier. Kratom's probably a good option here. I think it's probably still legal in the US too. Oh and weed's definitely much much healthier than tobacco. Smoke is bad from any herb, but people only smoke like 0.1g-1g of weed per day, whereas tobacco smokers smoke what.. like 10g-50g per day? Per hour?!

Vaping? Mixing it with another herb? Chewable tobacco? Weed/Brownies? Kratom? Phenibut? Adderall? Alcohol?

lolwut No it is not. The intellect is something much broader.

And you're sure you're not an INTP? Yes, the IxTJs.

"Good at math" doesn't mean intellectual. "Good employee" doesn't mean intellectual.

You don't really access long term memory when deciding what's wise or not, though. It just comes from intuition.
-
People tend to rely more heavily on either memory or logic. An external world of events/ideas, or that born from within. If someone has a good working memory then it's likely they're a memory focused type. How is wisdom impossible to articulate with the intellect? Wisdom is gained through repeatedly overcoming intellectual challenges. Greens might like the idea of communism, but once they intellectually understand the problem with this they become "wiser". They become less likely to jump to conclusions in the future, and although this is "wisdom" it's completely intellectual. It's only non-algorithmic from a limited point of view which is unable to understand the complexity of the "wisdom-algorithms". One event causes one conclusion, while another event may swing that conclusion the opposite way. After enough of these, a balance is reached, and that balance is what we consider wisdom. No firm/emotional conclusions, just a balanced understanding.

The kids in school with good memory just memorize the times tables and formulas and whatever else they need. The ones with a poor memory end up having to work out everything from scratch every time. If you're engaging/challenging your intellect 10x more than others do, then your intellect will be more developed. They're strongly connected, but not the same thing. If someone is "wise" that doesn't mean they necessarily have a good working memory, and wisdom is mostly just a mature intellect.
-
Bad working memory = under-reliance on memory = over-reliance on the intellect I think in some ways it can be an advantage. But if you wanna improve it then I think that's definitely possible. Meditation + manifestation.

Yep. "quitting" is rarely a good idea. It's like going on a diet, you won't stick to it forever. Better to just make a few adjustments where you'll barely even notice you're eating healthier.

Pattern recognition is 3 dimensional. Conspiracy theorists see one layer, but fail to see the others. Good pattern recognition has good interconnectedness between all patterns. Conspiracy theorists are actually so bad at pattern recognition that the first pattern they find they'll hyperfixate on. They grasp onto what they can.

"others" as in "while aware of others as yourself and you're really just helping yourself" or is this more about helping others due to the nature of our biology making this kind of behavior more fulfilling? Cause if it's just about literal other people then that a bit unsolipsistic.
-
How does it fail? All understanding is pattern recognition.

Just change the desire into another form. Replace it with weed, vaporizer, gaming, tv, etc. until you stop associating feelings with tobacco.
