I sat down and contemplated for 30 minutes- How do I overcome challenges in life ? Here are the answers which I got :- - By realising that all challenges are temporary - By being optimistic that it will be overcomed -By realising that challenges are not as big as thought previously - By realising that I have overcame massive challenges -By acting by seeing a hopeful future -By realising that they make me stronger -By realising that procrastination will make them worse - By relying on my potential rather than external markers -By realising that they determine my potential Thanks.

@Sugarcoat Yeah that's a great perspective but I think that everyone fails(including me of course) to realize the importance of direct experience which looking at one's hand, an object in the room or just focussing one's attention on what's being experienced. It offers such a deep tranquility and liberation from falsehood .

@Leo Gura Is it the case that people create fantasies and constructions to escape direct experience ? By the way contemplation leads to understanding of truth while direct experience leads to living with truth . Both are important but direct experience wins in case of truth.

@Av2521 Talking to women whom you find attractive. Only approach those women whom you are attracted to. You will improve as you have already conquered depressive episodes without therapy or medication which is a big thing in itself.

I was suffering emotionally due to past mistreatment of me by people but when I stopped my mental talk the suffering was neutralised and I began to feel normal.

I am currently writing my master's thesis. The thing which helps me is to research about certain components of the title (not the entire title) -- key words and write about them.

@Raze Thanks. I remember Leo's 3 part series in which he tells that if you ask a woman what she likes she will give the list of things which she is attracted to while in practice she would act otherwise. But it's not worth demonising women as there is assymetry between male and female attraction.

This is what makes me suffer and feel like I can't get someone as a man. Even though females get showered from attention right and left for them to find a meaningful connection they must sort out the attention which they don't like.
