  1. Those forum is ok but the growth I got from knowing to accept negative emotions, thoughts , doing contemplation , meditation is great. As per accepting negative emotions like suffering I did it from shifting to applying CBT to ACT therapy. If I would map my journey , I went from a struggling optimist to one who smiles occasionally during suffering. Yeaah, I remember my first post on the forum where I posted that my girlfriend cheated me but later I realised that she wasn't my girlfriend but rather a friend whom I attracted but the attraction faded. Considering additional things while I was on the forum I was bullied in college , made fun of in front of girls by other peers, threatened but as personal development was constant in my life since 2017, this forum was also constant since 2021. And personal development made me navigate through these challenges. Thanks.
  2. @Princess Arabia Thanks.
  3. @enchanted What is your age ? You made a good point about desperation . I am thinking how to overcome desperation.
  4. @LifeEnjoyer Thanks dude.
  5. @Max_V Was thinking of mentioning you.
  6. @OBEler I have heard a lot about this philosopher and a concept given by him called Ubermench -- Superman translated in English.
  7. @LifeEnjoyer Best of luck. May you find the girl of your dreams. 😂
  8. @Davino Yeah absolutely . I remember watching Leo since 2016 January.
  9. @Leo Gura So you mean that even your basic self-help videos that you released in the past are rare ? Even though there are other teachers who teach the basic stuff.
  10. I used to beleive that no girl will be my girlfriend and I am a failure in this domain of life but after I took this perspective -- I am already successful. I went out to eat something in my college campus , a girl looked at me. I didn't pay attention to girls with boyfriends but a girl sitting with her friend who was another girl. Could you all give your opinion on this. I also had a conversation regarding this perspective with Claude.Ai.
  11. I contemplated for 30 minutes- How do I jailbreak my mind ? Answers-- By realising that my mind is useful By stop being caught up in my mind By realising that my mental images are not real By preferring my experiences more than other's opinion By acting based on my experiences than concepts By preferring experience more than knowledge By realising that knowledge is imagination while experience is reality By focusing on experiences and acting according to their conditions By forgetting about concepts and start facing my existence
  12. @Davino By your analogy if others are happy the baby is not adapting to external conditions but conforming to the masses. But acting on direct experience is like breaking free of limitations of your mind and other's mind.
  13. @Davino But the child does not adapt according to external conditions or direct experience.
  14. @Davino Maybe it's not about thinking and getting caught in our minds but rather acting based on direct experience.
  15. But some like me are angry at you or hurt . Will it help those. 😂😂
  16. Does contemplation grant it ? Which grants tranquility amidst chaos-- Meditation or contemplation ?
  17. @Majed It's easy to give advice and tough to implement. I would say that buy and read read Models by Mark Manson. I am sorry that you are facing this. By the way I am 24 year old single who has never been in a relationship and I am starting to become ok with it.
  18. @Leo Gura What are your views on your Indian subscribers of your YouTube channel( I subscribed in 2017) and forum users. Could we break free from Hindu dogma ? And jailbreak our mind? Background: I was born in a Hindu family but I wasn't a extremist. Most of my friends put Hinduism on pedestral. But I don't even though I respect Hinduism , I have read Buddhism , listened to Rumi ( Sufi poet) and Islamic songs too. Yes, religion creates hindrance in understanding God as it is conceptualisation with some truths into it. Direct experience is the reality. One of my friend called me sn exception as I am not a radical Hindu. Few friends in my past told me that you are a shame to Hinduism. Haha. I am proud of not being like them who insult other faiths. Also I think philosophy , self-help has contributed a huge to my life. All of us must contemplate( including myself) -- How do I jailbreak my mind ?
