  1. @Miguel1 Even though you're a moderator here and I am not one to tell you what you should do. However , I suggest you to walk the path of vulnerability since it leads to fulfillment no matter how less you laid or date but if you express yourself honestly enough without looking to gain something for it . 2 things happen - some girls love you while some girls hurt you . I have observed it in my life.Choose quality over quantity or don't take it seriously 😂. But I have seen many examples - A guy is desperate to find a girlfriend,he finds her ,he breaks up with her and then the cycle continues returning to where he started .
  2. @LordFall Haha basically I was talking about like internal power like for example resilience - basically acceptance of challenges etc. which causes better quality of relationships to stay in your life even though they might be few .Okay fine which way suits you . I am nobody to tell. 😁
  3. @AION I'm sorry but I didn't got angry I just typed that impulsively .Sorry dude. And I became impulsive because I have been a subscriber of Manson's courses, read his book Subtle Art , Models multiple times. And it's helped me a lot. But I didn't wanted to hurt you dude.
  4. @LordFall Ok fine. Like for example just simple honest expression of one's intentions ,thoughts and feelings is enough. Chasing power means thinking that you are above others or better than others since you have got a lot of sex , material possessions than other person. For example : When I was in college other guys made fun of me infront of their girlfriends and they bullied me for the fact that I am less than them since they have dated multiple girls and I am single. Even girls in my batch mistreated me but as soon as I (honestly speaking from lived experience ) expressed myself honestly despite initial nervousness 1 of them flirted with me multiple times on her own ,another one later came to me and talked in a respectful ,friendly manner after I withdrew from her bullying group and the batch crush approached me . Yup so expressing your both strength and weakness is power but it must be honest from inside out. Since ,if it isn't honest then it will come off as inauthentic and needy .Also , @LordFall yup owning weakness rather than overemphasising them is true vulnerability , you're right .By the way sorry @AION I typed my response in an impulsive manner .
  5. @LordFall I am not telling to be weak but admitting weakness as well as strength leads to power. Domination is the side effect of internal insecurity. As per fate yes you should stand up for yourself when challenged but chasing power leads to powerlessness. Watch - Avoidance of Truth episode by Leo . Also when admitting the fact that you are suffering or feeling bad sorts out people worth being with. Since , acceptance of suffering, questioning assumptions behind suffering is power . I'm not talking about avoidance .I have edited my message now. @Miguel1 Keep being vulnerable speak your mind despite initial hesitation ,express yourself honestly to women . I have noticed in real life recently that when I spoke what I think I woman hurted me but later since another day she started initiating conversations with me and we had multiple joyful conversations.
  6. @ZenAlex Great man , I am proud of you . I have mild social anxiety and I have found that the cure is vulnerability.
  7. @AION Man , most things in life are counterintuitive and so is dating. Even look at reality of dating - Many attractive guys are single and many desperate guys are getting laid .But the quality of relationships matter too. Also ask yourself - Are you chasing love and power based on the assumption that it will make you happy ? You can find gold there .
  8. @Miguel1 But vulnerability represents power which manipulation cannot provide. As Leo mentioned in his video avoidance of Truth that truth ( vulnerability in this case ) gives you depth ,power that others simply don't have . It's the counterintuitive nature of life . Even though I too have never dated but vulnerability sorts out women worth being with . It generates receptivity. Speaking from experience .Also you can read Models by Mark Manson especially the chapter - Power in vulnerability.
  9. I think that challenging one's own assumptions rather than other's and reaching a balanced conclusion where not- knowing doesn't get you caught into paralysis analysis is better .
  10. @Natasha Tori Maru I love Mark. I love this ,will watch it if time permits . Thanks for sharing .
  11. @Natasha Tori Maru Sorry for a late reply. I would want to hear from a woman - I deeply respect you . Since, I have got a huge amount of disrespect from women in the past. So I would prioritize respect more than love even though I still crave love .
  12. @Ramanujan Ok then all the best .
  13. @Yimpa I saw it flash on the screen at the end of the episode - What is paradox ? Leo to told in that episode to contemplate it.
  14. It has been proven to me over and over again that my top value is:- 1.Resilience which involves engaging with challenges ,discomfort and difficulty of day to day life after accepting them . 2nd value is Tranquility which involves questioning the thoughts ,beleifs and assumptions behind the emotion when angry , hurt ,triggered or experiencing any negative emotion by - What if I'm wrong ?, What would it mean if I were wrong ? ,Would being wrong create a better problem than my current problem or worse problem for both myself and others? then arriving at a balanced conclusion. 3rd value is connection by expressing myself honestly to others . And I have experienced progress by acting in alignment with them.
  15. @Yimpa Over time my values have changed from chasing happiness ,success ,getting a relationship to these values which I listed in my above post such as resilience , tranquility and connection. I mean I used to be outcome focussed but now I am more internally focussed after painful realizations like effort matters but you can't control the outcome, you will not get everything that you desire and that's good , more the struggle and pain more massive the victory will be .
  16. @LordFall But resilience is not self-torture or self -harm. Thanks for sharing this video ,I watched it and found a lot of great lessons in it.As per the video this guy didn't tortured himself to prove to himself that he can take it but he rather overcame excruciatingly life threatening hardship. As per me I have survived great deal of hardships in my life up till now.
  17. @Ramanujan Man, you are asking this for ages. Stop chasing success , success is a lie. No matter where you reach ,what you achieve your will still feel that you are short of something. Instead honour your own progress and reading about a self -help book is very different from applying that book. Focus more on taking action than on theory. By the way I appreciate your burning desire for success.
  18. @Stick In my experience asking these questions is great. How do I live the best life possible ? What is the most wisest way to live life ? What if I'm wrong ?
  19. Resilience and challenging my assumptions.
  20. Only the hand that can erase can write what is right.
  21. Ai prompt engineering , Biotechnology, resilience , emotional regulation skills.
  22. This is a great advice @Judy2.
  23. Be persistent despite failure. That's all you need to succeed . It takes practice to live in alignment with your values .
  24. @Zenterus From your situation I think that having high standards and focussing on finding high quality of girl over chasing quantity is a ticket out . I have seen many guys falling into the trap of getting a hot girlfriend while completely ignoring her actions , standards only to found out that they break up in some time and the girl dating other guy. I found out that post rejection that rejection is a protection from girls who were wrong for me. Yes , I dodged several bullets in college by getting rejected over and over again. Which saved me a lot from those manipulative ,toxic relationships. All the best ,you got this man.
