  1. I don't know if it is a reliable path or pathless path. I don't have any statistics. I haven't found any statistics at all. That's the problem. So what? I can produce videos where people pay for all kinds of ridiculous teachings. I'm just saying this does not prove anything. I haven't tried any of his practices. I haven't found anything where he explains his practices in detail. So he is the best we have currently? Maybe so, but haven't heard of anyone he has got Enlightened.
  2. Yes, I have found that out. I had many beliefs about Enlightened Ones that were way off!
  3. Well this guy is saying he gets over 90% Enlightened without drugs: But he has stopped doing one on one sessions.
  4. I don't doubt he had some good karma going for him. I'm not putting him down, he seems to cater to the masses. They sometimes need an Enlightened One to know everything. So he has to play his part. But he doesn't seem to be getting many people Enlightened.
  5. Some get amazing results using it. Both are FDA approved. As far as diet goes you might want to listen to this: I wouldn't waste my time on all the other snake oil salesmans.
  6. I guess a few got accidentally Enlightened because that's how he got Enlightened ...by accident. : ) Few out of 1,000,000 Seems like a lottery to me. Basically a big waste of time.
  7. It's not possible for most using diet and life style unless they are deficient in vitamins or minerals. Best thing is to get started on finasteride and minoxidil as soon as possible if you want to keep your hair.
  8. Sadhguru likes to tell stories. I've seen him answer questions he didn't even know the answer to. He likes to beat around the bush a lot. I would guess he has a very low success rate at getting anyone Enlightened. He gets people interested but thats about it. He likes to pretend he knows the answer to everything imaginable.
  9. Yeah but how many have become Enlightened with them? What percentage? I don't see genetics being the scapegoat. If one has interest or an inclination then it seems the universe has "chosen" this person. It must be already in their genetics.
  10. Most enlightenment teachers are incompetent. Most don't know how they became Enlightened. The ones who think they got Enlightened a certain way teach only the way they got Enlightened. Most don't love as much as they imagine they do. There are very good teachers of enlightenment that get results. Most don't get many Enlightened. Alot teach platitudes and tell little stories that don't help the seeker get anywhere near enlightenment. It also appears that most seekers will need a teacher, a one on one teacher, someone with skill and discernment to see where the student is stuck.
  11. @Lyubov "Does killing and eating animals have a place in conscious society?" Apparently so.
  12. Say you lived somewhere in a little village where no one suffered. You have been living there for thousands of years. You see the hills off in the distance. No one has ever gone there, no one knows what is over the hills. One day you decide to explore what's out there. You try to get others to go but no one wants to go except a very few, because anything can happen. You made it! : ) Where's home?
  13. Thanks for your contribution to this thread. : )
  14. Yes, I understand what you're saying. When they started building cars I'm sure they didn't know how much it would affect our environment. We are evolving. Mcdonald's I'm sure didn't know they were creating problems. Now it's becoming more aware of the problems they are creating. If the children are starving it doesn't matter much what you feed them, it will keep them alive. Later we might realize if we feed them something better they will thrive. One day maybe Mcdonald's will be all vegan. Of course most everything they do is marketing and to improve sells. It's step by step that we evolve.
  15. Would you help the rapist find a good therapist? Maybe this Taoist story will illustrate it better? There was once a farmer in ancient China who owned a horse. “You are so lucky!” his neighbours told him, “to have a horse to pull the cart for you.” “Maybe,” the farmer replied. One day he didn’t latch the gate properly and the horse ran off. “Oh no! What a disaster!” his neighbours cried. “Such terrible misfortune!” “Maybe,” the farmer replied. A few days later the horse returned, bringing with it six wild horses. “How fantastic! You are so lucky,” his neighbours told him. “Now you are rich!” “Maybe,” the farmer replied. The following week the farmer’s son was breaking-in one of the wild horses when it kicked out and broke his leg. “Oh no!” the neighbours cried, “such bad luck, all over again!” “Maybe,” the farmer replied. The next day soldiers came and took away all the young men to fight in the war. The farmer’s son was left behind. “You are so lucky!” his neighbours cried. “Maybe,” the farmer replied.
  16. I understand. Some women fall in love with their rapist. Who I'm I to break up a loving relationship? : ) How do you know she's being raped? Did I see him hit her? Is he doing it i broad daylight, dragging her in the bushes? That's why I say it is contextual. But generally speaking I would help her.
  17. Karma is all the circumstances and context of ones birth. We all have a physical identity, like Jane, Tom etc. with a certain personality. Even Enlightened Ones. Say during this life we develop a love for bugs, when we reincarnate we might be attracted to bugs and want to start a bug farm. God doesn't punish us but there is natural consequences to our actions. It doesn't seem like our minds goes with us after death but what we are as a feeling. An overall feeling blueprint. Maybe we went backwards and learned to hate and be untrusting. Maybe we got Enlightened and are off to experience another world in a completely different vehicle (body).
  18. Is she yelling for help? If not I probably wouldn't help. It's contextual. I would trust in my natural response.
  19. We have a highly evolved digestion system that has evolved be able to digest almost anything for a pretty long time. Other animals die if you change their diets.
  20. Yeah and I think they invented the drive thru.
  21. It seems most people think climate change is because of greenhouse effect. I'm not so sure, I've heard it is because of solar flares from the sun. Also, some say the earth goes through cycles of warm and cold. I'm all for cleaning up the environment so if everyone thinks it's co2 or cows farting alot it's cool. : )
  22. Thanks for pointing that out for me. Looks like I might have misunderstood "my doctor". Below is one of Dr Greger's videos I got my information from, as I'm not a doctor : )
