@Javfly33 While winning ends the game (temporarily), losing motivates every true athlete to try again. After all, the driving force of every game is the challenges the game sets before us and the series of defeats on the way to achieving them. I love playing for the very essence of the game. Something happens, it's interesting. Winning after a moment of bliss turns into a void in which the question "what next" resounds? I'm not talking about you now, but if someone thinks it's about winning, they completely misunderstand and, more importantly, don't feel the essence of the game. -

@Princess Arabia If such a narrative, such a perception of things serves you, no problem, good for you. For me it is useless and that's it. Of course, I do not mean to prove that this or that person was exceptional because, first of all, everyone is exceptional, secondly, whether this exceptionality means something to us, each of us assesses it ourselves and this is everyone's sacred right to their own opinion. I simply believe that freedom, in order to be freedom, must be fully conscious as a fundamental feature of our true nature. One cannot be partially free, therefore in the full realization of freedom circumstances cease to play a role. We have examples in our history of people who bore witness to this authentic, inner freedom regardless of the circumstances in which they had to live. And in many cases these were very difficult circumstances. You see, I am interested in what is authentic. What is authentic and true is, as it turns out, very practical and has the power of real change and transformation. I do not see such potential in the constant repetition of phrases about absolute nothingness, non-dual emptiness. Sometimes it looks like well-disguised nihilism resulting from inner suffering. Where is this supposed to lead? The fact is that we are here and now on Earth, in a divine dream. I have said many times that if a dream is a relative reality, you cannot claim that it does not happen. I understand that this is a difficult experience and I myself want to get the hell out of here more than once, but I feel that this is not the point. Of course, I may be wrong, just like you😉 -

@WelcometoReality ...but sky without the clouds is as boring as depressing when it's completely covered with them in a grey, monotonous way. Or imagine night sky without the stars... Things are not so 0-1 or black-white. -

@ChrisZoZo agree with U 100%. Things are much more complex than we think and duality streches far beyond physical realm. -

@Javfly33 from hell to fields of dreamless solitude? Who the fuck are we to know this...? - rhetorical question. In the end, river, ocean, sea, lake, puddle, tears - one water. -

Well I am definetly not there yet. Long road out of hell ahead. ”Yeah, I'm hung like planet Pluto, hard to see with the naked eye But if I crashed into Uranus, I would stick it where the sun don't shine 'Cause I'm kind of like Hans Solo, always stroking my own wookie I'm the root of all that's evil, yea, but you can call me Cookie”💩🫶🏿💩 -

This whole cosmic mind of the solipsists or absolute solipsists is in fact the ego-mind of the solipsist himself trying to convince himself in the end. -

@Breakingthewall Question - why is it like this? Why don't people think for themselves? Well, the system of exercising power, as far back as history goes, has always tended to form a stupid subject, one who does not question the ruler's decisions, but blindly believes him. Such a subject is easily controllable. All attempts to introduce real democracy based on a well-informed society, where information is not manipulated, were effectively blurred and corrupted by the possessing class, the so-called elites. From the views of Thucydides through Aristotle through the dispute between John Dewey and Andrew Lipman during the formation of the United States of America to the present day - the only thing that seems to have really evolved is the system of mind control through division and intimidation wrapped in ersatz for everyone - all simple monkeys with alien babies, amphetamine for boys, crucifixes for ladies - sang Marilyn M. The education system, educating outstanding specialists in driving right-hand screws, where if you give them left-hand screws they don't know what's going on. How many are there here who have no idea why there is no zero in a three-phase motor, in a triangular system, have held a hammer a few times in their life and here they are talking nonsense about some kind of machine wisdom - I assume quite a few. We are reaping the fruits of mind-clouding with shiny gadgets, which without electricity are worthless piles of shit. Turn off the electricity to people for a week now - you don't need nukes for the apocalypse. Progress as fuck. -

Syndrome of our times, which are de facto dark times. ChatGTP is a machine. Sophisticated machine but a machine and does not have its own consciousness. It is designed and built to immitate human's thinking with much much faster analytical capabilites based on given data - let say human knowlegde. That's it. Nothing else. Now, take a definition of solipsism, read carefully and think for yourself. To do that you don't need any fucking chat, you don't need to repeat someone's fancy narrative. Just sit on your ass, and think as long as you see the all dumbness of this endless stream of thoughts that never leads anywhere. Than call yourself whatever you want: solipsist, nihilist, buddhist whatever. Or don't do it. It doesn't matter. You will see. -

@Princess Arabia Human intellect easily confuses concepts, turns the cat's tail around. Fortunately, we have the Heart - the sacred compass always points in the right direction. Sometimes the intellect does everything to drown out this voice of the heart. And it never succeeds in doing so permanently. -

Beware of this absolute trap. Endless attempts to describe the indescribable. It looks like a race. Who will describe it more accurately, with more eloquence. As if we were using some kind of measure again. Who is more and who is less. Who is closer and who is further away. It is nice to feel oneness with the world, the universe, everything that lives and does not live. It is nice to gain distance from this collective madness called humanity and be able to laugh to yourself and to others every day. In the end, you cannot escape from yourself and Life will always test your absolute realizations. -

As my beloved Alan Watts explains: Differences are very subtle, yet very profound. For me of course. I try to explain later what I mean but maybe you spot them as well in your own way. -
Kuba Powiertowski replied to Kuba Powiertowski's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes, so I wanted to write why Taoism seems slighty different than other philosophical systems, until I realized that this factor is the narrator, Alan Watts himself. In his narration, everything he talks about seems somehow different.., friendly?😉 -

@Xonas Pitfall 1=1. -1=-1. -1≠1. When you start unconsciously mix absolute realm with relative such crap always happens. -

@Breakingthewall it's actually very, very simple. One coin, two sides - black and white. Black is black, white is white - true. Black is white, white is black - false. -
Kuba Powiertowski replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Carl-Richard And the real problem for us people here begins not with the philosophical, absolute cheese, which is a some figure of speech, but when someone murders, rapes, skins alive and calls it love. -
Kuba Powiertowski replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Carl-Richard Sure, but what do you expect? A forum of mentally balanced philosophers? Were there any? At least here, spiritual rationalists are a counterweight to spiritual lunatics. Some are a mirror for others and vice versa, sometimes they switch places. I see this as healthy and natural. You always have a chance to discover something new, as soon as you are able to step into your opponent's shoes for a moment without a ready-made narrative. Of course I'm corrupted, mistaken. Everyone makes mistakes on this path. Do you know how I was once completely surprised when I heard Swami Sarvapriyananda say that at some point you discover that the entire existence, the entire Brahman is you? You will also find this statement in Ram Dass. Only these are entities that develop according to very rigorous defacto yogic systems, taking into account discipline and guidance. Who here follows such prepared paths of exploration? Maybe you, because certainly not me, and probably no one here. Everyone here searches on their own, often using methods that take us to places whose perspectives we simply do not grasp. There's no need to get upset. It is what it is. As one of the Polish politicians once said, commenting on the paralysis of communication caused by the onslaught of winter: sorry, that's the climate we have. -

It is not question of "like" or "dislike". Rather: do you accept it or not? -
Kuba Powiertowski replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Carl-Richard your statement: "How are you seeing other people's bodies? Is seeing absolute? What happens if you close your eyes? Do you still see? No? What happens if there is a brick wall between your eyes and the body you are trying to see? Do you see still the body? No? So seemingly, seeing exists in relationship to other things, like eyes and things near and around the eyes. So seeing itself is also relative" - in relation to this: Is it possible that reality is something much larger that appear to be here for you mind? And that we may have direct evidences for that, despite that they might be extremlely inconvenient for our current world view? Exceuse me, for being slightly off topic but what if seeing is absolute? How do you know? See, the same trap waits for everybody here.
