  1. I've only recently come across Tom Campbell and I found him while trying to get pointers on out of body experience. I refused to fall into beliefs until I had set a rule for myself, not just to become aware in what seemed to be a lucid dream but to be fully aware from the start of the intention as I lay down in bed to finish when coming back to the perception of the body in the bed and then getting up). Eventually one night, it happened from beginning to end and I was fully aware the whole way through. Campbells description of the less finite realities outside this one makes sense as I have managed to 'shift' into a few of them. I agree with him when he goes against the use of the terms 'astral' and 'out of body' because it's not like that at all. I was only able to do this after listening to and understanding Campbells TOE. The very night I finished one of his 3 days lectures, I shifted into two other realities and was able to explore fully (previously I only got a few minutes of a glimpse and I would shoot back into this reality and wake up the body). From Campbells theory of everything, it has helped me to 'shift' into other realities, some similar to psychedelic spaces but I had been waking up in these spaces in the middle of the night most of last year anyway. I had been putting allot more focus into using my mind to shift into altered states and realities rather than repeatedly going back to psychedelics. It was another rule I set myself and that was not to rely on the psychedelics but do the hard work to train the mind. I would call this an intuition Ive had since I was in my teens and I would be interested now to see if I could now direct a psychedelic experience into one of these realities (who knows, I will allow the uncertainty so that the probability is possible). Leo's study was the first I came across when I was looking into philosophy to try to discern what truth was and I ended up deconstructing reality right back to staring infinity in the face (so to speak). This was the first time I found myself out of body from a meditation... in an infinite void and it was me, not me, paradox or absolute nothing one and the same as awareness etc etc... lept out of the chair I was sitting in absolute shock having been an athiest realizing that god was real and it was nothing like anyone had ever described it. I had a cannabis experience that knocked me unconscious and brought me from the moment infinity moved, right up to constructing reality and projecting itself into it using belief and imagination. I understood the whole process and small details within it because I was the one who was not coming back unless 'I' created reality in order to get back into it. I experienced this empirically and understood what Leo had been talking about even though I understood it conceptually before... I had a very deep understanding after experiencing it and some of the things I had misconceived before became very clear. From this personal verification I would come down on the side of Leos solopsism and understanding of infinity. Infinity imagines itself as finite form in order to have an experience. This doesnt really fit with Campbells TOE especially when Campbell goes into entropy and evolution but I have to remain open enough that I may have another experience that makes this a new narrative. Campbells description makes a llot of sense from the point of view of purpose and meaning but when I experience 'god' or whatever you would like to call it.... it is indeed infinite and can do anything because nothing means anything other than what it chooses it to mean. I do think leo has broken it down allot further than campbell who seems to be clinging to some form of logic. Leos avoiding the multiple, less finite realities although he does acknowledge their possibility and campbells not really understanding infinity and claims the source cant be known and there's no such thing as symmetrical perfection. There's another YouTuber called ken "Theoria Apophasis" who also seems to be against the idea of infinity as absolute nothing and gives out to no end that buddhists are idiots when they say they experience 'nothing' and he claims theres no such thing as nothing because the primordial state has to be something of awareness. I experienced 'nothing' but when I came back from the experience, I had a new understanding of what 'nothing' was. It's meaning had changed from something of dismissal to something of a paradox but when I tried to explain this to him, he dismissed me as 'not getting it'. Maybe I'm not but I did experience that and I can't bring it back with me to show or explain other than to communicate it as a concept. It could just be that each of these literally lives and experiences a different reality. I have questioned that as I've seen Leo dismissing things as absolute nonsense that I have personally experienced. again it could be that is the reality I have constructed and one that cannot be seen by others and visa versa. Personally, Ive reached an understanding that I cannot dismiss others experiences and I would agree with campbell not to go critisizing others but to endevour to love and understand them from the 'being' and not just the intellect. To deconstruct reality requires the logic and reason that created it in the first place but to shift out of this reality requires dropping intellect altogether. Leo helped me with the first and campbell helped me go beyond... but then I would also say visa versa in that each has a unique undertanding or perspective both of which have helped me achieve greater understandings.
  2. The reason cited for this is to stop the spread of the virus and protect everyone from being infected ( a noble cause but...). Firstly, it has been demonstrated in countless studies that the vaccines do not stop the spread. They do not stop infection. What they do is suppress the severity of the symptoms. As humans vary from person to person, this completely depends on other factors like age, underlying conditions, and even specific genetics. Double vaccinated people are still dying... The viral load for vaccinated and vaccine-free is the same. The vaccine-free will probably suffer worse symptoms needing hospitalization but again, some of those will die where others won't even know they have the virus and have no symptoms at all. It's all completely personal. A vaccine protects only the person who gets it from severe symptoms. it doesn't protect anyone else. That person can still be infected and spread the virus so having a vaccine and a little covid pass on a phone screen will not protect anyone else from contracting it. So even if there are no vaccine-free individuals on public transport, the virus will still continue to propagate its way through the travelers. It's all utter nonsense. I should however mention that the observations about the new Omnicron variant are promising in that it is acting more like a common cold. While it is highly transmissible it is not making people as sick. It will outcompete Delta in a matter of weeks and if it remains the case that the positive cases are still not showing severe illness then this could be the end of the pandemic and we'll enter the endemic phase. Vaccine boosters will not be necessary for this as the T-Cell memory from the initial vaccine will still be effective even if the antibody count has dropped. I think it's more important to remember that it's not the content, it's the behavior, and if you catch yourself fearful, angry, hating or judging someone else for living their life how they see fit then you need to look in the mirror. We need to start learning the difference between education and propaganda because what's happening, particularly in western 'democratic' countries, is starting to resemble mass psychosis and totalitarianism. Both sides of the ever more polarizing fragments of society have exactly the same concerns but because they are too busy fighting each other instead of listening, they completely miss the points being made. The rest of us are standing watching on the outskirts wondering how we can learn and grow from this catalyst.... because it's got to a point that if history repeats itself this time and we've collectively learned nothing, there is no point in civilization. We are either going to stand for an open and transparent future with real respectful progress or we submit to someone else's ideology which will eventually collapse civilization because it is not sustainable.
  3. The best thing to do was to contemplate the last time I was in that situation and go with what I actually did or felt. It's a pity there weren't any questions about reactions to people who were perceived to be behaving antisocially. We think highly of ourselves but we forget to notice our own behavior when judging others for their behavior...
  4. Following the recent science episodes and after contemplating our short comment interaction on Youtube regarding the type of person who would be suitable for finishing the series in your 'challenge Leo' idea, there was an overwhelming sense of blood lust and people getting the popcorn out, ready for the intellectual slaughter of an academic. On a shallow day, I would find this amusing (like an Atheist trashing a Christian in a logical debate) but it would have no purpose. As you said: the type of person you'd be looking for is themselves a paradox and you'll never find someone like that. A conventional academics' ego would predictively get so defensive that the discussion would descend into an argument no matter what way you planned it. Instead of 'challenging Leo' would it be of good nature and benefit to find an academic who has come to a brick wall with their work and willing to hear another perspective with the potential of having their base worldview in academia and scientism shifted (it only needs to be a bit, not radically shifted). This is done to help them progress their work using a newfound systems view approach to their area of study. Instead of challenging them to challenge you, an academic asking questions about their work and ideas and you offering a different way of looking at it? It would be an opportunity to use what's been learned so far to help someone not so much see the light but even just see another way.
  5. 5MEO-DMT was the first substance I ever tried. It was meant to be jumping in the deep end for someone who had never drunk alcohol or even smoked a cigarette. I was interested in truth-seeking and had got in on Leos videos because of an interest in philosophy. Obviously, his Neti-Neti video put me face to face with a black void called infinite consciousness, that was quite a shock for a then atheist. The rest is the usual start down the personal development and spiritual journey of awakening inevitably coming across the idea of psychedelics and wanting to explore consciousness. I did my first 5MEO session at an ayahuasca retreat last May and while other people beside me also doing 5MEO were screaming, crying, moaning and wretching, I was lying there strangely contented. I had to take two inhales but it was enough to knock me catatonic so I lost sense of the body but still fully conscious. There was a bit of black and white patchy clouds morphing in and out and an intense buzzing energy. It left me a bit stumped because, except for the buzzing energy, I didn't experience anything different to my 'good' meditation or breathwork sessions. I couldn't make up my mind about it so decided I needed to experience another session as a reference. This was almost a year later and the dose was certainly higher. I didn't even get to finish the first inhaling or holding my breath and I was already gone. Again, everyone else screaming, crying, moaning, cathartic releases etc etc... Me... lying in a black void contently listening to space music with the intense buzz of energy present yet again. But both times I would have to honestly say that nothing really happened. It was the same with the ayahuasca and again with mushrooms. I don't really experience anything. one flash of visual but several hours of nothing really while everyone around me is going through a process or loosing their shit. What seems to happen is that everything I experience is formless, void, black and when I come out the other side I do my work during contemplation in the weeks after. it's a bit dissapointing to hear peoples fantastic DMT vision journeys being shot through the universe into the womb of creation itself and thinking my turn... for another buzzing black bath. I'd almost believe something is wrong with me or that I'm one of the rare people whos not affected by the substances. It's hard to find people to describe their 5meo experiences because they don't seem to be able to describe it or its so vastly different to what I'm experiencing, visually, consciously and emotionally.
