Since i was child i always had the default mindset that people are good (in the sense helping of each other, not causing harm to others and all that good stuff). I am also very open, straight forward and honest type. I don't like to play an act which is obviously bullshit and people who are also acting know it's bullshit but go along with it cause everyone is. I have realized that i am tired of people. I am tired with people having no integrity and honesty. They cannot talk soul to soul (speaking the "truth" in that setting). I don't want to sound rude, some people are just out to get you for no reason. I don't want to live with peoples hate and jealousy and what not. How do i cope with people?

So many of you might have heard of Iskcon which are temples of Krishna. They follow something called as Krishna consciousness. What this means at least what i understand is that they will attain Golok (heaven) by chanting, praying and providing service to god krishna. My question is that : Are hare krishna people working towards the same goal as someone with non duality and god realization? They have to be gaining something spiritual right? I have seen them being totally concentrated and giving their all in devotion to krishna. If not non duality / god realization then what are they gaining?

@GreenWoods @GreenWoods @Girzo Whatever they do looks beautiful and feels good but they are trying to change everything according to them. I have bhagvad geeta from ISKCON and they have manipulated it to an extent where the only meaning of every verse is that pray to krishna. I mean if it is this simple why write entire book on it.

@Leo Gura you're correct. It's ironical that it is hinduism. The founder of iskcon made it into a cult like movement for the survival of the institution. People want something to be told to them.

@JessiChell also they have no ability to self reflect. Even for an average person it takes a lot to self reflect, there is no chance a narc would. As long as supply is available everything is good. When it is not they will ruin everything. I used grey rock method to be left alone from my narc. You should too use it

@JessiChell they truly only care about narcissistic supply. Their world is black and white. Either you do everything they say in which case they will emotionally abuse you and either you don't in which as well they will abuse you. Whenever you recognize a narcissist do one thing, turn around and run!

So as you know leo has made videos and explained how everything is one and it's ego that makes differentiation between us and them. Knowing this has made me a lot more compassionate, forgiving and understanding person towards people I don't know what's the end goal or inference of knowing this but I assume that because if everything is one, everything is you and you would be compassionate and loving towards yourself. So i assume empathy, compassion and love is what it means. But as I go around this world dealing with people they keep being a pain in my ass and act selfish, see good people as a means to an end and not people to cherish and be like them. And recently i have also learned about Machiavellianism. (i remember leo saying doing what works takes you down the road of devilry and i kinda know why ) So in order to get success in life and achieve something big you will have to follow at least a little bit of Machiavellianism which is not preety. I wouldn't want people to be treated bad so that i get stuff done On the one hand i have compassion and on the other hand i have what works. How do you make sense of this?

@ilja @ilja @ilja@Nahm You are right i do expect a basic decency from long term friends but they act like they are the only person on this planet. I know they're mentally damaged and have low self image and what not but keeping your friends back is something they should do i feel if you're going to be a friend or else why even bother being a friend. They shouldn't be called a friend but a stranger who knows you thats it. Also there is something wrong with the reply box on mobile its not letting me remove multiple tags

@Javfly33 When leo says that wall doesn't "exist" does he mean that basically explaining in object oriented programming terms, Our mind is an object generating class, things like wall get defined(into what we think wall is) when they are defined by the class (mind) @Leo GuraGura?

It's really weird how people have reacted when i introduced them to leos content. A person said he seems too negative. Another guy just does not have the mental capacity to understand it so he says he is not giving me proof for anything.

@Stakres I suggest introspection. What is the root cause of your depression. Lack of girlfriend? Porn addiction?
