  1. Yeah I'm glad too. Thanks for not putting a knife into my heart. <3 ? Ego is illusionary but it is in the body as thoughts and contractions in the body. After awakening seeking stops and the practice changes to untangle these contractions within the body. By doing that these contractions start to fade away and the ego diminishes. It becomes more and more subtle. It makes sense to me that the complete dissolving of these contractions feel like a death. I call this Awakening, but the ego is still there (at least for me). The separation is gone but the separate self energy or contractions in the body remains.
  2. Could you listen to part 2 from 5:45 to 7:15? No to me it's not the same thing. He explains it there, so could you listen to it so I don't have to type all he is saying?
  3. Ah but now you are assuming that I'm seeking that which we talk about. I'm just stating that the death hasn't happened here.
  4. Awakening has happened already but not the death that he refers to in the video. I'm not donating to any guru and have never done so. This has been done on my own. You seem angry. Why is that? "You see, brother, life is imagination. If you imagine that you are not awake, then you are not awake. If you imagine you are awake, then you are awake." That's nonsense.
  5. Im not talking about seeking. When you awaken you wake up to here and now or THIS. And the sense of self falls away. That has already happened here. But not the death that he talks about in the video.
  6. This is something I'm experiencing already. No inside or outside. And the separate self falling away further and further. Thats not what im talking about. Watch the video I sent veganawake to see what im refering to.
  7. Do you actually know that though? Maybe you haven't reached full enlightenment? I know thoughts and emotions still come up. Here is a video about this that I'm refering to
  8. @WaveInTheOcean I mean the identification with thoughts and emotions. Thoughts doesn't completely dissappear. The I-thought might disappear when full enlightenment happens that I don't know.
  9. Ok, there is a point on the journey you see them as illusiory but they still come. What would we call the point where they all have left the body, which I believe is the classic definition of enlightenment? It might be confusing to call both enlightenment.
  10. Probably not. ? What if there's two fingers pointing to different moons though? ?
  11. Yeah, that would make it easier to communicate. What is your definition?
  12. @SeraphimTheres an energetic feel to the words written and you can feel where it comes from if you are open to it. It feels dreamlike and that everything is happening without a self directing the actions. So true. If you wonder where you are on the journey there is still work to be done. All questions arise from the separate self and the journey after awakening is seeing through the illusion of it.
  13. Yes it does have an sleeplike quality to it. Like it is just happening without anyone doing an effort. Now this ordinary consciousness that came back, the sense of self that feels like it wakes up. That is the ego. That is going back to the dream state. The dream feels real and awake feels like sleep.
  14. I'm not talking about mahasamadhi. The body can function without the ego. It will act more on a instinctive-intuitive level. I would describe ego as a thought/feeling-based energy. That conditioning is in the body as contractions. Once you see these contractions and not act upon them they start to dissolve.
  15. That's good. There's definetly been an awakening I'm not doubting that. An awakening brings a feeling of completness and it is in a sense true but many believe that an awakening means that the work is done. Seeing that the illusion of the separate self is not enlightenment. Enlightenment happens when the separate self completely dissolves in the body. And there usually is blind spots where the separate self still lingers.
  16. @James123 An awakening has happened yes but there is still energy of the separate self there. Still work to be done.
  17. Haha yep. Soon you can hoist your enlightenment flag.
  18. @Dlavjr It's like falling into the abyss. You will instinctively try to grab ahold to anything to stop falling but that will only make you bump into the rocks. The best is to just stop grabbing and free fall. That way it can be a pleasant fall down. So if you catch yourself grabbing, loosen the grip and continue to fall.
  19. @kundalini91 Thx for sharing! Yes, that's it. And then we can let it go.
  20. @Javfly33 Yes it is YOU! It's so obvious it's often overlooked. ?
  21. @QandC Yes a realization of the interconnectedness of everything. It's an important step.
  22. @lmfao It's definetly no joke. I felt the same kind of terror you do. The terror will eventually pass once you go fully into it. Hopefully that is somewhat comforting.
  23. I'm not a technique guy, I'm more a winging it kind of guy. There might be a technique for it but that technique will lose it's effectiveness the deeper you go into this. This is more like riding a bike. I can tell you how but in the end you need to start riding and falling on your ass. That's how you learn. ? You'll learn to function in this state aswell. They will happen whether you want them to or not. So maybe it's better to go with them than resisting them?
  24. Let the realization sink in before you do anything drastic.
  25. @Dlavjr Sounds like an awakening to me. The shifting between being consciousness and the separate self is normal. The key is to let the shifts happen and stop trying to control them.
