  1. Yes it's ego but only a small part of what ego is.
  2. And then it can be transcended and fall away completely.
  3. Yeah, we usually try to resist it for as long as we can because what falls away is what we believe to be 'me'. ??
  4. @BipolarGrowth To be perfectly content with what is and let all goals and sense of purpose fall away.
  5. Visuals are also normal. ?
  6. @Greengrass Yes it's normal to feel fear when tye sense of self disappears. Just let it come up. Fear is the doorway.
  7. @Gabith Thx for sharing your experience. ???
  8. @Leo Gura That's nice Leo. Maybe sharing the embodiment of your realizations is even better. ?
  9. Yeah I just cleaned my kitchen. It was extraordinarly ordinary but magical at the same time. ?
  10. @BipolarGrowth Seeking might continue after awakening but loses momentum as the realization matures to eventually dissolve completely.
  11. @Soulife96 Just let the writing happen without any censorship.
  12. @Swarnim Isn't suffering caused by believing the thoughts that things SHOULD be other than it is? There might be pain but believing the thoughts about the pain creates suffering. @AdamR95 Is the I that loves to suffer the I or the i?
  13. @WelcometoReality In a sense stuckness is all there is. Allow oneself to get totally stuck might open things up.
  14. ??? Believing that you're stuck makes you stuck and any expectations for something to happen is also something to let go. Sit with those dense feelings and let go of any desire for them to go away. Every attempt to manipulate, resist, grasp the present moment is from the illusiory sense of self.
  15. The present moment is the doorway. Recognize the stillness between two thoughts. This might seem like a small realization at first but as you keep focusing on this stillness it will grow. It will then be a stillness thats there even when thought occurs and later all off life will occur within this stillness. Questions might arise from mind but stems from negative feelings in the body. Become aware of the feeling and let go of any attempts to do anything about it. The feeling will dissolve and with that the question. As you do this negative feelings stop coming up and positive feelings start arise more and more frequently. Love starts to appear which start to be ever present which is unconditional love. Let go into this moment, every moment. No more knowledge is needed. Everything you need to know in a spiritual sense is right here and now.
  16. @OneIntoOne the doorway to the absolute is through the fear. You don't need to push through though you'll be able to meet it when you are ready for it.
  17. @BipolarGrowth The question is a rock in the stream the answer might be further down.
  18. You can start doing daily meditation. Start with 10-20 minutes a day. Doing it consistently 10mins everyday is better than doing it sporadically for an hour. Also go for simplicity. Just sit in silence with eyes closed and see what happens. You can also do mindfulness practice outside meditation. Be aware that you are aware. You will catch yourself getting lost in thought then just be aware that it has happened and go back to being aware of being aware.
  19. Yes you describe it well. The water is meant to carry us along. I just wanted to remove a rock that might've held you in place. Your point of view will be different further down the stream.
  20. But saying "fully enlightened" has an ending quality to it. ? Like having arrived at the end of a journey. It's more like an unending journey without a knower arriving at a destination and even the destination is unknown. The witness to the impermanence also falls away. Yes and that might be your interpretation of it today. Just don't cling to that interpretation, it might change over time. Any finality is an illusion. ?
  21. What has this capability though? ? Yes that's a good pointer. Fully enlightened though, what does that mean?
  22. The fighting with yourself is the noise. What if there wasnt any fighting and you just went to your job? ?
  23. @BipolarGrowth Believing that one is enlightened or not doesn't make that the experience for most people. There are levels of consciousness which people are operating from and even levels of enlightenment. Check out David R Hawkins book Power vs Force for a map of consciousness levels. What you are pointing to is your perspective right now. Which is fine but was that your experience a year ago?
