It's easy to not appreciate the things you take for granted. Without smart engineers our luxury life as we know it could not exist.

Arguing with a donkey may amuse the donkey, but it will surely frustrate you. Some people are not worth having a discussion with. Maybe one day they will evolve in a reasonable person who can see an issue from different perspectives, but the reality is that there are a lot of people who just don’t have those capabilities.

I read about a 60km long Russian convoy on its way in Ukraine, plus Belarusian troops invading as well. If this is all true it’s going to get even crazier, thousands of people will die in the coming days. I wonder how long Kiev will hold up.

Just like in a movie the characters are not created by the movie. The characters are a part of the movie, or in the movie. The movie does not create anything.

In a human dream we can see certain brain regions light up while dreaming when we monitor it. The brains manufacture the dream while we are asleep. If this life is a dream, what is the equivalent of the “brain” in this metaphor?

Imo, the best long term marketing strategy for your product or service is to be real with people, don't try to bullshit them for your short term gain. It will hurt you on the long run. Communicate what your product is and how it can benefit the customer, don't try to make it more than it is with smokescreen tactics. And of course, you need to know your target demographic and know how to reach them. I personally don't like 'facebook ads' and such as it cheapens your product to advertise on such low quality and generic platforms. But that also depends on your product of course. If you have a product aimed at middle age housewives, facebook ads are probably pretty effective.

I respect neither to be honest. I think they are both subpar people and I’m positive both Russia and the USA have better men walking around to lead these countries. The question is; why aren’t these good men in charge?

Finland shouldn’t join Nato because I don’t think Putin has any plans to invade Finland. Finland was a major pain in the ass for the Soviets during WW2 and I don’t think Putin wants to burn himself like that. The risk/reward for Putin is just not in his favor. He would rather push through to Moldova, than to invade Finland. And Finland have no interest in joining NATO unless their hand is forced. At this moment their hand is not forced.

Because the left so desperately wants to be seen as tolerant and open minded that they are even willing to be tolerant toward groups and ideologies that are extremely intolerant. Saying that you are tolerant of Christian belief doesn’t score you woke points, so attacking Christianity is free game. It’s even the opposite, attacking Christianity scores you woke points, and you are deemed a ‘free thinker’. While criticizing Islam makes you a ‘bigot’.

@zazen Yeah, in my opinion, if you can't trust your partner without a legal document saying that you are together. You should really consider if you want to be with that person in the first place, let alone have children with that person. This should be common sense.

A new Cold War is more likely. Where the west will cut off trading streams with Russia, and start strengthening Ukraine. I highly doubt Putin would be that stupid to downright attack NATO allies, and if he would, I hope the new generation of Russian leaders will be smart and courageous enough to stop that from happening.

I don’t see his supposed creative genius. His earlier stuff was okay, later he became more mainstream. It’s all pretty ‘meh’ to me. He’s just another hiphop artist in my book, a dime in a dozen.

If you think everyone around you is just a figment of your imagination, being sociopathic really shouldn’t bother you. And if everything is just your imagination. Then why are you still bound by certain laws? Like the laws of physics; if you know you are imagining everything you should be able to fly off into the sky like Superman.
