You guys are so silly with your "Needy, needy, needy"! You don´t know Preety or her guy, the circumstanses of their relationship. But have a universal rule for any situation, yes? I read for example, that this is a distance relationship. So her guy doesn´t need to be worried. Because Preety has no chance to give her life for him! The other thing: is this guy also an Indian? If yes, I assume it´s a standard conversation between two Indian guys falling in love. Not even passionate enough if they were not singing and dancing, more like a business meeting, I would say ?

Beared men have no chance with me Dostoevsky has a lot of theorizing and philosophizing, which Pmuk doesn´t have. Pamuk specilizes rather on the beauty of a normal life. Some of his characters perceive this beauty, the others not, but the reader does anyway. Well Dostoevsky tries also something similiar with his characters by sending them into monestery or a preason, but the reader sees no beauty in it

I laughed when I saw a dog as a profile picture of a user, who wrote to Preety "you are needy, needy, needy!" I know it was not a dog who wrote this, but it still looked like this creature with constanty begging and pleasing eyes was so enraged and alarmed by neediness of Preety :))))

@Preety_India Don´t listen to them - boring spititual shucks. It´s normal - there are moments- you are just overwhelmed - and feel like you could do anything for him. Wonderful moments! The best example of channeling different characters with different perspectives I have ever met in literature is "Silent House" by Orhan Pamuk. Each chapter is a view of a new character, written from the "I"-perspective.

I like the expression. I´ll try to remember it. Next time I have to reject a guy, I´ll tell him: "Sorry, but I´m looking for the extionsion of my wholeness, which you are not..." In fact I could use it right now. But I am afraid, it will be a waste on my humour , he won´t get it. But wouldn´t it make the whole situation even funnier? For imaginary audience?

Well I´ve already thought about it. There must be a reason, why you don´t want to show yourself. If you have a physical defect because of some illness or accident, it doesn´t matter for me. I am not after handsome guys, well only sometimes. But if it´s a gross self-neglegence and degradation by pursuing physical pleasures, like getting fat of fast food and dumb of alcohol, than you are an absolute no-no-no. I´ve had enough of this shit with my ex-husband.

I knew a guy, who always wished me well and recommended to get a man. But when I´ve got a man and planned a date with him in Paris, a wonderful guy, who wrote great poems, thus guy hacked my mail-box (I could never restore it again - quite a mess) and began gaslighting of a poor poet, whom I wanted to meet in Paris.. but never met
