  1. As if Russia hasn't been pushing its values on small countries.
  2. @Bobby_2021 Yes, finally. The Internet is full of wonders. I have a bias towards it; it saved my life from the cultish behavior that I'm surrounded by.
  3. It's just amazing how they achieved that. Just wow. I wouldn't have thought that it could be that detailed.
  4. The OP really inspired christians here to speak up. Interesting.
  5. One time, my whole visual field was just faces. It was because of a lack of sleep, but it was worth it.
  6. I was writing the post with Orthodox Christianity in mind. But it also applies to evangelicals. Of course, it can help you in your internal crisis, but you pay a huge price for that. You give up the ability to re-evaluate your worldview. The truth becomes the beliefs that they helped you construct. It doesn't matter how many mystical experiences you get, which I doubt is a lot; it's still not like the experience that meditation or other methods give you. Belief-based religions make you think that you have the truth by not giving tools that can help you experience and understand the world more deeply, honestly, open-mindedly, and truthfully.
  7. @Jannes My mother is a teacher. What I know from my experience as a student and from my mother is that yelling and physically hurting students all the time for not behaving doesn't work. They make it worse. Children at that age are very emotional. They want the teacher to be their friend and understand them. The lack of it is one of the reasons that they become immature, uncompassionate, unintelligent assholes.
  8. @mr_engineer Teachers do that in other parts of the world. Most of them aren't motivated to teach their subject and aren't very knowledgeable.
  9. @TheAlchemist I mean that christ is an imagination on top of a more fundamental imagination which is the existence of the devil or demons. They run from the thing that they have to confront and accept, which is not an easy thing to do. The fear of that is what keeps the illusion alive. Actually, the christ is a sneaky imagination who keeps them from realizing that. He is the actual thing to be saved from. if one of them wants to do that, he/she has to cut off or isolate themselves from the environment that feeds that fear (not saying that you should not socialize with christians and not be friends with them). So, yes, I agree with you.
  10. @TheAlchemist Christians ... want to be saved by christ, but forgetting the devil or the demons will save them.
  11. @BlackPhil Techniques are important! Your technique is believing, which leads you to think that you're practicing spirituality, but actually you're not. When it comes to spirituality, always be careful when choosing and doing the techniques; some of them are there for keeping, creating, and defending delusional fantasies. You are abusing open-mindedness. Wise up!
  12. @BlackPhil Try direct experience. It'll ruin your entire christian fantasy. But I guess your righteousness will not let you be honest with yourself. I wish you to be surrounded by a bunch of non-christians, specifically atheists, to burn your ego to the ground. You will actually mature. And then the possibility of real spirituality for you will open.
  13. I don't think he's happy, but he's hopeful, which is the honest thing you can be in that situation. I can feel his suffering. I have been in this kind of situation. This made cry. Thanks for sharing the video.
  14. A typical spiritual person: delusional and justifying their behavior all the time.
  15. @Someone here Love yourself as hard as you can.
  16. @Yimpa I will never let it come to that point. I don't care about fighting over such matters. At least my survival doesn't depend on fighting. I rarely become combative unless others dictate how I should live my life.
  17. @Someone here He is saying he is more awake. Maybe reaching that level makes you skeptical of others being awake like you. So, because of that, he says he's the only really woke person. Maybe it's false. The only way is to prove it to yourself. I'm not saying you have to listen to everyone equally. You don't have to be awake like him to understand that in different states you see things differently and can't expect that people would understand you if you told them about your experience. What I love about Leo's teachings is that it reveals how deceptions and delusions work. It's way more important and fundamental than some religious teaching.
  18. @Someone here No, I'm serious. Sorry if I made you feel that I'm trolling.
  19. If you can't then why bother? If you want to see yourself, you check yourself with a mirror. The mirror is the technology for doing that. The problem is its quality.
  20. @Someone here don't you like it here? Leo doesn't kill us for not being awake.
