  1. I have been wondering what has worked best for increased focus amongst people. I want to pick one practice for the next couple years but I do not know what the ideal practice for me is. I keep overthinking what the most ideal practice is. If anyone has experienced any improvements in their focus with either of these meditation practices please leave a response detailing what you did and how your concentration improved. Thank you.

I have personally been unsuccessful with this practice. This is specifically because I continually overthink and complicate it. For example: - Following the breath, I struggle to simulate my breath as it travels to so many different parts of my body and I cant keep track of it from a moment to moment basis. Even with the edge of the nose practice I cant seem to focus on it since air travels through both my nostrils at different speeds - With the mudra it feels as if the sensation in my finger is constantly changing and therefore I cannot seem to stay focused on one sensation that is being felt by my fingers Anyone who has overcome obstacles with this practice or improving their concentration in general please leave some advice in the thread below. Thank you.

  4. I have been attempting concentration meditation for the past 6 months and continuously failed moving from practice to practice. I cant seem to find something I am comfortable with and cant even focus for like 20 seconds straight. I have always struggled with not being able to concentrate since I was a child hence my ADHD diagnosis. If anyone has had success improving their concentration skills I would really like to know what practices you have used and what you did to cope with the struggles of this practice. Thank you,
