  1. It was always my understanding the 'forgetting' of infinity, god consciousness, was to facilitate this reality. This reality could never exist if we didn't believe it to be so. There is no other way for it to be. God as infinity as the creator. Us, as Gods manifestations, believing this illusion to enable it to persist. The choice to believe is essential. So we can mine experience. So God can harvest experience. To escape the horror of the All Knowing. No surprises. Future certain.
  2. Has access to the tesseract, all chess moves exist simultaneously. The perfect move exists, just like all the ones that hit like a wet noodle. Drop the needle at the perfect point on the spinning record of existence The witty banter on the forums is 90% of the entertainment!
  3. It is always a possibility. Part of the issue with porn is the need for more and more extreme material when one gets addicted. I do not know the stats though
  4. This is my understanding. And having carried existential dread my whole life? Endless pursuit of meaning? To the point I was distracted from the living? There is peace in knowing this is the choice. There is surprise here. Wonder. I am resolved in the best way
  5. This might invite some rage as it implies men have no impulse control - although I do see your point! I am undecided with this topic. We have to also consider that some non-consensual themed porn can increase sexual aggression (and aggression in general).
  6. Hard yes - but admitting that? HATES IT
  7. Yes, which is where that neurosis comes into play. Blindly pursuing with the human positive feedback tendency of valuing what is hard. Unobtainable. Without questioning truly what they value, and in the end, its probably not Truth.
  8. The Great Ouroboros. And its consequences. My favourite of the ancient symbols:
  9. Yes, and it becomes rather pathological. When you really pursue something the human tendency is to invest in it. Value it. Pursuit creates investment. Something 'earned' through pursuit & sacrifice is valued a lot more than something you always had intrinsically. We often construct value through action. 'What's hard to get is worth more' You have to really question yourself honestly. Are you valuing awakening to God & Truth excessively because of the human tendency around this?
  10. There is a truth to emotions that hasn't been looked at in depth. Need a deep dive on the topic. I do believe, previously, Leo has stated he doesn't cover this in his teachings. It is not his focus. This doesn't mean it isn't valid & exists. He is concerned with further elaborating on the masculine path. For now....muahahahaaha!
  11. Creativity as a meditation... So I was raised very strangely. Artists studio, not a lot of TV. My grandfather was a prolific artist, winning many awards. Awards that took him around the world to study. England, Soviet Russia. Moved among wealthy partisans after the great wars. Arts master for 30 years at the top private school in Melbourne. Worked full time teaching art, came home and painted. I was mainly raised by him. He was the most intensely creative person I have ever met. It is cut and dry how much creativity and gifts in the arts I inherited from him. Before he began training me I could render things, create and construct things to the extent I was accused of lying by schools in 'Show and Tell'. I really don't mean to brag at all, just illustrating that there is something to be said for genetics. I was trained up as well, traditionally. First principles. Then gradating through various mediums. I just had the fine motor control he had, and the ability to see things in a way as to just 'know' how to slightly alter it to bring balance, beauty. He always told me 'Everything is love, everything is one. All religions are trying to tell you this. They are all the same. People take the wrong things away from religion. They mostly just divide us when they shouldn't' He was fascinated with all types of religions and belief systems. Very open man. Another repeated lesson 'When you create, you focus. You aren't yourself anymore. Think on it. You are just the point of focus at the tip of the brush. The canvas is like the blank substrate of the world around you. When your brush meets the canvas you render reality, as you see it'. Being told these things from a young age already had me quite egoicaly disconnected from what made me, me. I never realised this though. This wasn't negative feeling. It was a pure emphasis on what I do, manipulating this substance that makes makes up reality. I just created stuff and that was all that mattered. And he emphasised that I am the one who creates it all. He was also a raging alcoholic and womaniser >.< Everyone has their flaws. He always had me return my thoughts to breath. Always breath. So I was introduced to this focused form of meditative creation from a young age, and for years after. Is it genetics? Is it exposure? Is it both? It is only recently I have had to reassess my beliefs regarding all this. In particular how creativity as a single point of focus feels like it erases reality for me, when I am in process. No time. No me. Thanks for reading anyone who made it through that !
  12. Do you mean when you focus and the object begins to appear to contain a frequency overlay - like a a mirage of waves oscillating overlaying the object, but it IS the object warping?
  13. Fair fair, different strokes for different folks 🙏 When I cleaned up my life and became more sensitive, I noticed the effects of music more than ever. The contrasting effect between a dirty life & music, and a clean life & music were noticeable.
  14. The Trolley problem has been a good thought exercise considered by philosopher 1967 by Philipa Foot - this hits at the core of the issue. What would you do and why? Actions vs outcome. Which carries more weight? The ethics behind non-action.
  15. Oh DAMN really? I am sorry to hear but not surprised at all. I know all about locks, mechanisms, electric mortices, maglocks and access control systems. I know how complex and intricate they are, and most people have no knowledge and rely on the locksmith to be honest. It's a huge position of power dishonest people exploit. I'd say 7/10 of my mates have been scammed out of desperation from locksmiths. And these guys are sharp and educated. Scammers are just crafty and sly.
  16. @Alexop Absolutely bottom feeder behavior. Scammers really exploit your sense of urgency. If you don't have urgency/desperation due to a situation, they will attempt to create a false sense of urgency. Locksmiths are one of the worst to exploit you. Always properly vet the ones you find in searches (god help you if you still use Google).
  17. I still have a key I can lose. Larger complexes have a concierge (mine does) who can grant access control cards in emergencies to the general building. I would HIGHLY doubt they would have individual keys to apartments. It may be different in other countries. I do not know specifics for OPs circumstances, so it is more just general advice.
  18. There is a power in truth, and humans are drawn to power. Whenever power is present to be wielded, it must be tempered by caution, responsibility. Ask yourself 'What is my intention with this communication?' If it is not benevolent, it is usually ego. Who are you to decide what is right for this person? Are you qualified? Are you speaking truth as an act of love? If you cannot benevolently wield power, you have no right to the truth.
  19. Couple more tips: Plunger. Emergency electricity/plumbing contacts. And a locksmith. Locksmith is a big one - it is the easiest way to scam the living daylights out of people. Think about it, if you need an emergency locksmith you are in a desperate position of great disadvantage. Find one local that is actually legit. Many online will charge you upwards of $1000 (for about 2 minutes work) by adding fees on to their initial callout quoted through the phone. The scammy motherfuckers know exactly what they are doing and will rip you off in a surgical manner. Last tip - give someone your emergency key, or have a coded padlock with a chamber nearby. You need to have a plan in place for when you are inevitably in this position!
  20. Haha! Well, what a perfect example right here He has seen through my intellectualization - right to the truth !!
  21. @MuadDib You fucken SAID IT. Really good breakdown - and I do agree regarding just how much mental acuity it requires to do well. I do need a lot of recharge time to load up the brain-gun again, so to speak. It's also a BIG dopamine hit. If I know I've hit the mark its literally 'Fucken BOOM' in my head. I get a burst of intense focus after. I think Leo has a whole video devoted to the topic. I enjoyed your insight very much!
  22. Haha - I don't think anyone is laboring under any illusions. There is a subtle but powerful art to flirtation - and it's not always a sexually charged endeavor. Very underrated skill. It's about wit, context, subtext, pattern recognition. Play, strategy, callbacks, challenges, banter, subtlety. Much of the fun of it lies in how well the receiver returns the serve. I gotta hand it to him - credit where credit is due - Leo is rather good at it. He doesn't miss much, and that sharpness translates to his skill there. Its that 'Gotcha!' feeling when you hit it right. I flirt to manipulate at work a lot. It leaves people with a positive impression as I aim to create laughter through wit. If the subbies always remember laughing while interacting with me, they will have positive associations. This means it will be easier for me to direct them to a shared goal. This type of flirtation is not sexual in nature, more the wit and banter type. It is a way to, ah - skillfully navigate - feelings to achieve shared goals. I am sure this is utilized in pickup - @Leo Gura @Miguel1 I think you might have some good frames from a pickup standpoint to add I will add this is a very powerful framework to learn, as it has multiple applications!
  23. Damn man, have a look at the history of humans and music. It is deep. Sound has a profound effect on people. I think OP's journey of interoception & sound couldn't be LESS boring.
  24. Hell yeah - this is a big milestone as an adult! I fucken LOVE living alone. To the extent my most recent relationships weren't even cohabiting. Just had our own spaces to go back to - bliss for introverts or for those who value privacy. You're going to learn: To take action and learn priority You are a fucken slob. That bit of pasta that fell on the ground and you cbf? Well, your gonna have to pick it up when it falls, or later when it's a crusty, shriveled turd stuck to the floor with the red sauce. NB you might super clean, maybe I am betraying how revolting I am? lol How much connection and social interaction you prefer. When you remove all the typical family interactions or housemate chit-chat, you learn you valued it more than you realized, or you don't miss it at all. To craft a pace and tone of life that you prefer. There's more, of course. But overall, this is going to be a HUGE growth phase for you. <3
  25. Meditation and access to higher states and how they interact with ones unique genetics are a curious area. Looking at it epigenetically it really gets my mind going. Genetics load the gun, and environment pulls the trigger (as the saying goes). I've always had no issue with meditation and being able to do ZERO with no stimulation for 1/2 hours. And I previously thought (ignorantly) that this was a skill anyone could access just by sitting and removing everything. Reading some forum posts here, and some other anecdotes of how much individuals struggle to sit even 10 minutes sans-stimulus, threw me for a loop. I really do wonder if our environment (air, food, screens, water) interact in a more complex way to switch the genetics 'on' to be able to meditate. How are we to discover this, without painstaking trial and error, is a long and arduous process. Imagine - it could simply be one thing (ie type of food) switching off the genes that facilitate an easy transition, and maintenance, of a meditative state. It could just be the air quality even. Even I notice this in myself - when I seek out outback Australian locations, in particular near rivers and dense trees, my meditation experience is far superior to when I attempt in my apartment. In fact, if I do have issue slipping into the state or maintaining I actively alter my environment. What if it is blue light? What if it is the radio-waves in the air? I know for sure, after much experimentation, binaural beats always assist. These alter brainwave states, but how do we know if different genes are activating in the process? Who knows if this is literally switching genes on or off? After reading about epigenetics, there are actually multiple very fast acting pathways that lead to different gene expression - some pathways cause effects within seconds, minutes, hours. Ultimately, I feel like there are way too many variables, and we are still in the infancy stages of understanding our own biology.
