  1. @Kid A 🤣 In before 'its not women's fault they are disgusting creatures, it is just their nature, we men need to adjust to their feral behaviours' and 'any man who disagrees is naive and hoodwinked by women' I am so filthy, don't you see!!!!
  2. There is no guarantee of enlightenment no matter what you do; simply some things can make us more 'accident' prone.
  3. Damn right on the last point!
  4. The only time I dislike humour is when there has been offensive stuff take place, and the humour is used to bypass an apology or contrition.
  5. @Joseph Maynor @Ramasta9 I think some of the issue with weaponizing of SD is due to users perceiving the stages implying higher/lower development and equating it with intellect or morals. 'Later' gets all confused for 'better'. The sequence of it makes people instinctively rank the system. I understand it to be a value system and not a moral ladder. No-Self does get weaponized as well. Different axis though. Overall I think SD should be looked at to predict friction between value systems, help us communicate across stages & recognise our own blind spots. This would be applying the model in an attempt to understand and cooperate. Contrast that to some users leveraging it to divide, condescend or virtue signal morals. Just what I see on the forum. ANNNNYWAY! I digress sorry to derail.
  6. I think maybe some of this is because users apply spiral dynamics to individuals. It sort of breaks when you do this. I can see how it applies as a useful frame for collective/societal development. But it gets weaponised here! @Terell Kirby thanks! I appreciate that. I can appear quite confident and certain with words, but I am constantly returning to how I deal with situations and moderate to reflect and grow. It has been a fantastic growth challenge, and I am really happy to give back in some way. I am harder on myself than anyone. But fair 🙂
  7. Probably when users have their first cessation - but I haven't heard anyone speak about this here. Maybe I just haven't dug into the history enough. And boy have I done some diggin' ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ You do end up watching what those on the path go through (and this is similar for me too) - each new realization is built on the previous. Then the new ground acts as a frame to enable you to destroy/deconstruct previous knowledge. Each new piece of scaffolding you learn is used to erase all previous realisation. Until you experience total groundlessness. Even spirituality needs to be discarded. Leo needs to be discarded. God-consciousness needs to go also, else it becomes another ground for the ego to cling too. Until - cessation.
  8. Or the big 8ft mantis ones
  9. Dehumanising language - ie calling women 'trash' I agree is not on. Personal character attacks - ie labelling someone 'incel' is also not on. Critique behaviour or arguments - not identities. If you want to be heard, keep it focused on conduct and ideas. That goes for everyone. These topics are hard enough as it is to remain unbiased and fair.
  10. Precisely!
  11. Add this to my list
  12. Also - AI use. And users not practicing and putting the work into integration. Working on conditioning. Very obvious who is and isn't doing the work. In general there is a HUGE lack of emphasis on this aspect of spirituality.
  13. PUA stuff. Most who engage in it are not mature enough to avoid the pitfalls. I get it though, they just want a solution. Topics that are high quality that don't get much interaction or attention. Then Leo posts - and suddenly users start to contemplate and contribute. Many users won't even contribute unless they see Leo post. Sad. Attributing general site moderation to just one moderator, when users have no idea which mod actioned what. When discussing topics and a user will not drop frame or worldview to try to understand someone else's cosmology or context. Instead they try to ham-fist half of what one user is saying into their current paradigm, thus totally misunderstanding and butchering meaning. Talking past each other and sidestepping points to try to avoid being wrong. Turning patterns of behaviour (in particular regarding the differences between men/women) into rules. Users responding with bias to each other based on previous forum interactions, rather than addressing the points at hand. Responding to the user rather than the point.
  14. Why would it be? Effective listening leads to understanding which dissolves the (illusory) barriers between us. It is behind unity and oneness. I think it dovetails nicely. Most bullshit is a result of misunderstanding. It is a co-creative process in my view. Just how I think about it. 99% of my job is about listening, understanding and re-affirming what has been meant/created/communicated. I am very very emotionally removed when at work to facilitate this (and I try to remove my bias and unnecessary thinking). Much to the chagrin of those who view women from a certain lens! (an example of being aware of my own context, and that people expect warmth from women as a default) The last 1% is ordering and designing stuff to be built
  15. The capacity to feel is different from how MBTI functions are used - so T & F are how we make decisions in MBTI. It has nothing to do we how much we ACTUALLY feel or experience feelings. That's the distinction I am making ( ╹▽╹ ) I make no remark about the users secondary point made.
  16. Yep. And many do not even understand the model. Just like the label 🤪
  17. T vs F still has nothing to do with how much one thinks or feels. Or the depth. Changing the goalposts there. Your point is completely seperate. A feeler does not feel more than a thinker. A thinker does not think more than a feeler.
  18. I hope this is like, for the lols, yeah? Cos T over F does not mean anything like that is experienced 🙂 Both types feel and think just as much, and with the same depth. The function just describes how you are more likely to make decisions.
  19. @AtmanIsBrahman that was quick 🙂
  20. Preach Many users here haven't experienced this though. Something something deaf ears
  21. Bro, you lazy mother**** - what about the uphill grinds & punchy hill sprints! LOVE THAT SHIT. I will say I share your passion for mountain biking. But I do get scraped up bad sometimes. RIP goodbye knee cartilage
  22. Not really, I would laugh and make him clean it up Accidents are all good though. Shit happens (literally). I am not sure - it sounded like maybe a mystical experience was so overwhelming he lost control of all faculties. I have seen that happen, so I assumed that was it. I've seen people doing weird shit because it felt correct in the moment while on psychs. Who knows!
  23. You could argue shitting is almost always beneficial - waste material being purged from the body. The blood. Harder case to argue there. I dunno why they were even shocked by that. Or maybe I am desensitized to shit and blood. As if users haven't ever had shit/blood related accidents. I suppose I have a lot of experience with babies also. Lots of shit involved there. Also my ex had explosive shit in bed one day.
  24. Is it taxidermy? It looks... real but not real. Wait. Its a cat? or a fox? MY GOD. This and not that. Empty & full. How prescient!
