  1. The process of enlightenment could be described as opening your mind and heart to include the entire world until the mind sinks into the heart and there is no world, no inner, no outer. This is an attempt at explaining anyway. You cannot open your mind without opening you heart and vice versa. I'm confused about the difference between the mind and the heart. Ramana Maharshi says that the ego, the "I" thought originates in the heart and the thought travels up to the mind where words, language and story are applied. I always tended to demonize the mind and think that the heart was pure in comparison.
  2. You are creating your reality, the law of attraction explains how to make reality work in your favor through your own awareness. By practicing the law of attraction and observing how it works you learn that you are creating your reality (enlightenment). Abraham Hicks, (Esther Hicks) is secretly one of the best teachers out there. You might not think so because so much of her work seems like it's appealing to people's low consciousness desires, and often we can moralize and think that we are way above her teachings. She teaches on a level that almost everyone can understand. If you've spent a long time studying Buddhism or other spiritual teachings, she will likely give you a lot of epiphanies if you can keep an open mind. If she is talking to someone about how to manifest a successful business just use the same wisdom she gives and apply it to enlightenment.
  3. You're a beggar sitting on a box of gold and you don't realize it. I don't mean that you should meditate and find your true nature, though yes, you should do that too. I mean this forum and everyone on it is worth more than gold. Do you know what an amazing opportunity it is to communicate with people who have an understanding of non duality? This place is truly magic. Do you realize the potential of connection between people who realize themselves as ONE with everything? It's powerful, it's more powerful than any psychedelic you could take. Love is the only technique beyond techniques. All that it requires is that you step outside of yourself and see others as your mirror, that you love them as your very self. Did something someone said trigger you? Why? Where do you psychically feel it? Was it a literal stab to your heart? Did the mind hijack that feeling and try to defend itself, to make another wrong? Did you just strengthen that which you so deeply desire to dissolve? You aren't here to prove yourself, you aren't here to prove anyone wrong. You're here to connect and in that connection grow in understanding and love. Do you really think you'd get enlightened on your own? Why did you come here? I am you. You wrote these words so that you could read them. I=you=we= Infinite Love The illusion is that I wrote this. The illusion is that we are fragmented as separate souls. Jesus said to his disciples "Love one another, as I have loved you." Yes, it's true that love doesn't always seem like love, sometimes love is a reprimand. But you, in your heart know from what place your words come from. Try your best to speak to others from love, because they are you, love one another as yourself and duality disappears. The self disappears. The mind sinks into the heart. Don't miss the opportunity, all it costs is your very life.
  4. The end of this made me cry and laugh at the same time. She's brilliant.
  5. You're a runner right? Try go for a short running meditation first, stretch, a little bit of yoga, then sit to meditate. Practice on fully feeling the energy throughout the body flowing while you are still. It helps to think of the energy as aliveness, life force, or something positive or neutral rather than framing it in your mind as a challenge or a distraction.
  6. Please tell me, does it work?
  7. You don't get to choose between Truth or feeling good. Who is the you that chooses? The truth feels good. When someone asks what kind of food you want and they are equally healthy, would you pick the one you hate over the one that you love? If a part of you, the true, deeper part didn't inherently know that the truth feels good, you wouldn't seek it.
  8. Just like in the story, there is no wise master and no student. Both are characters in the story. There is only you the reader, who is also the author at the same time as the you are the reader. So why communicate it? You tell me.
  9. @playdoh Check out Vermont, parts of it are very green. Southern Maine too. There are lots of green pocket areas all over the country if you're willing to live in a smaller city.
  10. Having a credit card will help build your credit history and will make it a lot easier to get a mortgage or another type of necessary loan if you need one. Having no credit history isn't much better if it's better at all, than having bad credit. Pay it off every single month in full, no excuses. If you can't/won't get rid of it or don't get one.
  11. Tim Ferriss talks a lot about the topic of mentorship. I haven't watched this one myself but pulled it up in a quick search. https://www.entrepreneur.com/video/304995
  12. Also, love is an eternal fire.
  13. @Nahm Wow. Love is the only thing that ever feels like the truth. It is truth beyond mind.
  14. That's not Christianity at all, that's a handful of people's perverted conclusions of it over the years.
  15. DAMN IT. @zeroISinfinity How exactly are we supposed to use 26 characters to communicate nondualistically?
  16. @Anna1 I started out my spiritual journey as a Christian as a child, understood God = love and then after learning about the Law of Attraction, I think there's no other word quite like Love as a pointer. Awareness and consciousness are also really important pointers, but what is the extra thing that love or what the word "love" understood as a pointer to, adds or takes away? That's the thing that makes existence itself, and all of this work worth it, in my opinion anyway.
  17. Well everything is love, but love can be turned inside out and bastardized through the filter of ego and selection. We can talk about the nature of everything being love which is true. Then we can talk about how love is embodied clearly and purely. Impatience only happens when you are caught in the illusion of time and ego, so that's why it could also be said that love is patient.
  18. Love is patient. Ohhhhh so patient.
  19. @Joseph Maynor Have you heard of Mr.Money Mustache? He's an intense green/orange hybrid, retired at age 30 by being super smart and a total cheapskate. He's really interesting.
  20. She both is and isn't, there both is and isn't. They both are and aren't separate. The question can't be answered. She is a projection/creation of myself, I am a projection/creation of your self. @Aakash I love you. Go away.
  21. Sometimes (ok, a lot of the time), we mix up self-realized with our idea of perfect. Yes, she is infinite, so is everyone else when they cease to appear separate.
