i noticed a lot of time we get into personal development and we do a lot of stuff wrong just because of self discipline. like for example you can go on a very restrictive diet that is actually damaging your health but you think you're doing good because you're being hyper disciplined. or you can start doing nofap and repressing your sexuality which is unhealthy, but you think it's good because you're being disciplined. or you can start working 12 hours a day thinking it's good just because you're being disciplined, when in fact it's not. what's the solution to this prejudice of just because we can be disciplined to do something that it is good when in fact it isn't. because on the one hand you don't want to not have discipline at all, but on the other hand you need to be wise about how you apply your discipline. religion has this problem of setting unrealistic standards and expecting to meet them through discipline when in fact most of the time it just doesn't work that way. and also self help: nofap, workaholism... also spirituality like not having sex.

@Danioover9000 i don't think andrew tate and patrick bet david are stage red. i think they're more orange. at the opportunist stage you can't use reason, and at the conformist stage you can't have strong personal opinions on things. so this indicate that if they had this interview they're both at least somewhat at the expert stage. tate is i would say blue/toxic orange. patrick orange

@Leo Gura alright but this means even if we get society towards stage turquoise there will still be psychopaths, narcissists and sociopaths running around since it's genetic. or can we solve this problem with genetic engineering ?

@Leo Gura leo when are you gonna release the episode on how to distinguish good from bad character ? i've been thinking about it a lot and i think that ego development as well as spiral dynamics are a great way to help with that, basically anyone below orange is automatically a bad character, simply because below orange there's no notion of human rights and people tend to be very irrational. also have to take into account the dark tetrad: sadism, narcissism, psychopathy, Machiavellianism. sociopathy as well. also levels of education, wisdom and maturity count. how open minded is the person. also maslow's hierachy of needs can be helpful. is the person only interested in money and sex or is it spiritual, artistic and philosophical.
