  2. they talked a lot about "aliens".
  3. i found attack on titan pretty boring and stopped watching it just seems the same stuff happening all the time i like hunter x hunter (2011) code geass and death note which stage are they?
  4. often want to buy meat (like today about an hour ago) today i wanted to buy bacon then i look at the meat at the store and can't bring myself to buy it i do eat meat though and feel better if i do sometimes
  5. not the greatest idea, Putin is good at judo is a KGB guy and killer (as Biden said) Elon Musk is a mildly autistic nerd
  6. that's hilarious, listening to it now
  7. i don't think that's extremely hypocritical to be honest obviously you can't care the same about everything also i've seen many reports of tragedies etc. in subsaharan africa in western european tv
  8. i don't really like the word "truth" but ok how can i discover it
  9. psychedelics could maybe help with the "preparation" what do you mean by "near"? ww3?
  10. interesting theory/idea
  11. Also that the west (especially US) looks at Saudi Arabia as an ally when they have a horrible human rights record. They executed 81 men yesterday. This is just geopolitics, Saudi Arabia is needed as an ally to protect Israel (from Iran etc.) and US hegemony (petro dollar etc) But it's very hypocritical
  12. Hey K ? Very proud and nationalistic often. I get it that people don't like it when others attack their country/culture/ way of life etc. i don't like it either when people from other countries attack my country often and it makes me want to point out the flaws and problems in their places. But at some point you have to say f it. If you can't criticise your own country/culture etc. then you also can't grow imo. Would you prefer a very strong international Russia with few humans rights (lgbt, protest, freedom of speech, press freedom etc.) Or would you prefer a Russia that projects a bit less power but also has more rights for everybody. Culture will change anyway, Putin is really scared of that and i get it. But it will happen sooner or later, you can't conserve something forever.
  13. Russia is a human rights hell hole but these people love to point out the problems in other countries, truly brainwashed also funny how they love to point out their "achievements" from a century ago (I'm not disagreeing that Ukraine has problems with nationalism and racism btw. but Russians should be one of the last ppls to point that out)
  14. i've seen reports of people of colour being assaulted and basically hunted by extreme nationalists in russia. these people are delusional
  15. Russia: We is very important peoples. We has histories. We has artists. We has security interests (we has not much of feelings) If west don't take Russia serious we will attack Ukraine and make blood bath.
  16. yet russia probably takes almost no refugees from the middle east while there are a lot in europe
  17. exactly what i was thinking when i saw that thread title
  18. probably working on that course he mentioned
  19. Listened to it and it was fine really didn't learn anything new though, i do understand that Russian perspective, until they attacked the Ukraine But the philosopher said stuff like Russia doesn't want to be pushed around, Russia has a great history ok fine. But Ukraine has history too and doesn't want to be pushed around or attacked either.
  20. they probably would have joined at some point. but there were many people in europe who were nato critical. if putin kept doing what he was doing for years. things like destabilise e.u./europe, nato, support groups in eastern ukraine. support right wingers in europe etc. would have been much smarter imo. now as i said he only brought nato closer together and got countries to invest more money in it for decades to come he made the best advertisement for nato that nato could ever hope/wish for with this invasion
  21. it's certainly dicey, that's why these companies should be broken up and not hold too much power but then we have to trust the government which also is problematic
  22. "In 2019, Sterzel moved to Los Angeles because he felt that he would lose his life or be incarcerated in China following threats by ultranationalist Internet users and the government, who accused Sterzel's wife of being a spy and a threat to national security.[18]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winston_Sterzel
  23. Listening to it but i think he should also have an Ukrainian philosopher on to even things out. This Russian philosopher isn't even allowed to use words like invasion, war, annexed (because of putin)
