  1. @WokeBloke A tennis racket is a tennis racket and a tennis ball is a tennis ball, but together they are just ‘tennis.’
  2. I love Leo’s videos, but some of you sound like addicts. Leo owes us NOTHING. No if ands or buts. Stop this; you do not deserve an explanation, a video, a course, ANYTHING. Move on with your life.
  3. I’ve heard of multiple people getting the shits for carnivore diet. I don’t know what causes it but I know multiple say it happens.
  4. @Medhansh The way I think about the mind, technically, anything would be ‘within the realms of it.’ I was sort of conflating ‘ego’ with ‘the dream’ though. I see what you mean now where that model distinguishes between the ego and other variables. Buddhi, Mann, etc. But, still, my point is missed. There exists ‘another’ ‘Mind’ that contains ‘the dream’ and ‘the ego.’ This mind is infinitely intelligent and can not be factored or broken in to parts, such as buddhi or Mann. It kind of blows any conventional understanding of intelligence out of the water. Idk, maybe I’m stating the obvious here. Like you said, different context. Maybe I’m just confused too. My mind is kinda fried trying to use words to conceptualize intelligence; the essence of conception.
  5. @Medhansh I understand that you are probably relaying information you heard elsewhere but in regards to the vocabulary of this forum the four parts of the ‘mind’ you mentioned would not be referring to the ‘mind’ Leo talks about. Those four parts would still be akin to something more of the ego mind. Not God, the ‘Mind.’ That mind, has no parts.
  6. @Preety_India Gotcha, that makes sense. Yeah, there is a lot of different ways too look at it. You've broken it down to the main ideas and sound like you’re figuring it out though. For me a lot of ‘intelligence’ comes down to effort and curiosity. I naturally am curious about most things, so I put effort into asking questions where many may not. I think there is a lot of really intelligent people out there that just simply are not putting in the effort because they do not realize intelligence is malleable and they are not naturally curious. Probably because they have had to be. Regardless, If some would just realize they were not born with a strict ‘IQ’ and could actually control their intelligence, to a much larger extent than I, personally, expected - people could be a lot smarter. Maybe I’m ignorant, but I like to think effort plays a role in intelligence and people are not just dumb. Some people are just dumb tho.
  7. Yeah I’m a 20 year old dude in like the exact same situation. Have about 2.5 friends. I have My Mom, Dad (divorced) and their flaws (good for the most part though) My sister doesn’t talk to me (depression, overwhelmed, etc) I hear from her every few months, briefly. 5 or so years ago, we used to be close. I have a just okay job, but one I enjoy. And yeah I dunno my future, but I love music and have been trying to convince myself that somehow all of this self actualization enlightenment work is going to turn into a deep community, music-dream. Because right now, like you said, it all feels disconnected. I need to change
  8. There are an infinite set of intelligences; or as Leo says ‘infinite intelligence.’ You can be infinitely intelligent about an infinite amount of things. Traditionally though, there has only been ‘intelligence.’ This typically refers to the standard IQ Tests, pattern recognition, etc. It was only within the past 50 or so years, I believe, that the term ‘emotional intelligence’ (EQ) came into existence. As you can see, it has not been widely adopted either. Still, not many people are concerned or familiar with ‘EQ.’ But I wouldn’t get too concerned with types of intelligences. It is nice to box things up and say this person is ‘emotionally intelligent’ or ‘classically intelligent’ or ‘spiritually intelligent.’ But it is something much bigger to surpass of that into INFINITE INTELLIGENCE and start pondering, what is intelligence? (In general) Of course, infinite intelligence has the ‘no intelligence’ perspective - which is confusing because it has that phenomenon of the old joke: ’So smart only a dumb person could have come up with it/So dumb only a smart person could have done it.’ All in all, though, might I ask, and maybe I should’ve immediately - yet - why is it you’re curious about this?
  9. You chose how many levels there are; that’s how many levels there are.
  10. Definitely a problem. I didn’t figure out I was an auditory learner until after high school. Throughout all of school I felt so dumb because they’d show me a perfect diagram but unless they could chose their words carefully, I wouldn’t understand. It’s why I Love Leo. 90% of what he says makes sense to me the first time I hear him say it. I may not like it, I may not embody it - but I’m learning.
  11. There are endless levels, so there are no levels. In this case, 0=infinity
  12. Hi I like this post because I don’t think there is one answer and a lot pops in to my head after reading this. The main options I see are, one, at least, consistently, ‘pluck’ away at one ‘belief’ at a time.’ But notice the sort of belief you immediately pick up following the pattern (a belif about getting rid of beliefs). Nonetheless, forget the clause about beliefs about beliefs for a second and assume we are just going to get rid of all of beliefs, you could also dispose of multiple beliefs at a time; say if they were connected beliefs and went one after another, nicely, or maybe even all at once. It’s not one way or the other; getting rid of beliefs requires context. Last note, for me, is my beliefs almost tend to leave me as a feeling or ‘tension’ and in the moment my thoughts have the option to ‘expand’ or ‘contrast.’ It is only later the feeling tells me some belief, with words, in my head.
  13. You can not prove I am having a inner subjective experience, much less a robot. Certainly these robots could reach a point beyond our distinction - where we take them as a sort of ‘conscious’ ‘human like’ thing. But there’s no difference between being fooled into thinking the robots are conscious and them actually being conscious.
  14. Ironically though, I’m holding you accountable Maybe your idea isn’t so bad
  15. @Tobias L It is more than 70-80% of people. The problem is literally doubled. Even if you do find someone to tag along that’s motivated, you’re just getting second hand motivation and the next time you need to do something alone you’ll just want someone else again. Not to mention if even if you do find someone equally motivated - you don’t sound very motivated. But like you said, if you’re lucky… Why’d you want to add luck to your problems anyways? You could just go and certainly get some work into your goals but you’re here - betting the sun won’t rise. I know I am just shutting down your partner idea but really this is good news. You don’t need anyone. You never did.
  16. An accountability partner is one of the Devils greatest tricks, in my opinion. The logic flawless allows nothing to get done. Ex: The rules of an accountability partner. Person 1: I will do this if you do this. Person 2: Ok. I will do it if you do it, too. [Ready. Set. Go.] [error] Person 1 cannot go with out Person 2 and vice versa. You basically just doubled your problem. Now you don’t just have to do it, you have to get someone else to as well. Easier just to do it your self. Still quite hard, which is why your here.
  17. @Aquarianwolf999 Maybe they seemed interested in it because you were. I’ve had friends paraphrase my words back to me or even hold a conversation about certain ideas. But rarely a ‘ah-ha’ moment; sometimes though. Most times they’re just talking. Sometimes they get it enough just to scare them into doubling down on their dogma. Many possibilities, but quite odd your story about so many becoming ‘born agains.’ I do not know really. Just from this post though, I like your curiously and what seems to be an opposition to this new Jesus stuff.
  18. @Reciprocality More similar to your ‘stream of associations’ description. Emotions are more so how I describe the intuitive feeling that goes with vision logic. The fluidity and guidance that appears to let you dance quickly between thoughts and/or compare/hold thoughts. It is not like I am jumping from happy-to-sad-to-euphoric. Also, do not really have a deep understanding of vision logic. Heard Leo mention it in the SD Stage Yellow video, I think, awhile ago, and thought it novel; since started to notice it more and more. By no means an expert. I will say though, as I have been eating better, feeling better and thinking better - there does seem to be a sort of magical, lovely, quality to using the brain now.
  19. Personally, I’d want to do one on the philosophy of competition and how silly it is to compete through philosophy. But that probably wouldn’t go so well.
  20. I have experienced something similar. It usually happens when I am in deep thought and feeling especially open and emotional.
  21. Everything we make as humans seems to be made for something other than itself. Art seems to be made for itself.

  23. Look up ‘Vision Logic’ Leo talked about it somewhere, but it is also a concept separate from him. As you become a stronger thinker your brain gets better at integrating emotions and abstractions in the form of ‘vision logic’ or what I think of as a sort of screenplay movie of thought. Started to turn into controlled day dreaming almost.
  24. Because you imagine it to be so; and that’s the game we play. Do not confuse imagination with the unreal, though. I am sure what you’re going through is quite real and hard - but the only way out is to begin constructing your narrative as something a bit more loving and practical. Imagine you’re a salesmen and you have to sell your life to your self, in the state it’s in. Would you pitch it as ‘constant cycle of misery’ or ‘invigorating process of redemption.’ If you won’t ‘buy’ yourself, who will? Im glad your not suicidal. I’m glad you sound like you want to work towards more. This is just one way to do so. Change your narrative; imagine it better. Do not fantasize. Imagine it better.
