you are right, there is no control possible. you have to realize that it does not matter one thing or another, and then the desires cease, at least for a little while. how is this achieved? meditation itself is just this. to stop projecting, to be present. Trying to stop wishing is it a wish? Yes, that's why you don't try, you are just there, until you see that anything does not matter, you are in the eternal moment and anything else is nothing. -

Well , there is something that can be done. it is to stop preferring one thing to another. at least mentally during meditation. stop wishing, longing. If you understand that everything is the same, you will see through the wall -

yes, everything seems to have a meaning, an order and a purpose, within a total absence of all of them on an absolute level. it is undeniable that, relatively, there is a trend in that direction -

There is no game, there is only being and that's it. nothing to look for, this is what there is, poured out in the present moment -

absolutely. and of an artistic beauty. we strive to make sense of it and take away the beauty -

I think it is unstoppable. there is a hole that must be filled, the transition from dogma to true spirituality has passed through a desert that has produced several generations of dislocated, sad people. Now is time for the next stage -

better than that of a billionaire I prefer the life of a rat, or better, a seabird, or a turtle swimming in the ocean. anything but human! for a happy one there are millions of crazy people. maybe a paleolithic human would be fine (probably not), but after that, I prefer the rat -

everything is the truth, right? nothing else can exist. What happens is that our thoughts, which are also the truth, point to relative truths that value everything according to whether it is good or bad for you, and we get lost in that labyrinth (which is also the truth). what is tried is to separate all that opera drama of good and bad to be able to realize its "falsehood" in the sense that not everything begins and ends with what my little ego likes or dislikes, although my little ego is the truth too, only that it is the tree that does not let you see the forest. so answering the question ... all our visions, insigths, ideas, are the truth. that does not mean that our interpretation of them is right, of course. Ultimately nothing can be known, only be, and that is the truth, like everything else -

it seems that suffering is the tool to guide us on the right path. if we sit in a fire, suffering makes us get up. If we suffer from a dysfunctional life, suffering narrows the way to go deeper and find the truth. if we suffer from the oppression of others, suffering makes us fight. if you are terminally ill, suffering makes you want to end. in the end we are puppets that go in one direction or another according to suffering or pleasure. -

When you see that one thing is equal to another, that there is no better or worse, the engine that is generating the separation second by second will become slow, and it will be easy to see through the apparent and realize the limitless. Incomprehensible, unthinkable, Indefinable, untraceable. It's the destination, -

that's right, there is only the totality in which there is no inside or outside, or nothing and something. there is no identity because there is nothing to compare it to, it just is, without contrast. It cannot have a self because for that there would have to be something other than that self, and it encompasses everything, so it is nothing and it is everything, neither of the two things, it is, still, total, absolute. that's what we are, but there isn't any "that" -

Trying to deconstruct your memories is nonsense. your memories are there and will always be unless you suffer from Alzheimer's. the point is to remove the dynamite, the poison, the force, and that is not something you can do either. It happens spontaneously when you realize that one thing is equal to another thing, that there is no better or worse. then they go from being alive to being in black and white. something without strength, without emotion, empty -

Maybe that guy was someone interested in spirituality and in 3 months he is no longer a Jew and is on this forum ranting about Jews -

the leo's ego is who identifies himself, who lets go, who realizes God, who suffers, who stops suffering, who transcends, who everything, because without ego there is no who. there is only the totality. And the ego is the totality, but seems separate. That's why they say Illusion and going back to the title of the post, leo claims to know things because leo is an ego that (apparently) know things. that we are, the totality that speaks to itself -
not all mushrooms are the same, there are mushrooms with more psilocybin and others with less. 2 gr can be quite strong or very soft. think of them as mushrooms, not a synthesized molecule. Get 10 or 15 grams, chop them into small pieces, try 2 gr, and depending on how you see it, you can try 4 that will be proportional. if they are from another batch, it may be radically different

Great idea, useful for dealing with people, and completely real -

Well, destroy two countries is quite overreacting. As you say, the war in Afghanistan could be considered justified, but the rest ... there are no words for so much stupidity and evil together. From the spiritual point of view, there is no right or wrong, it is only reality, and reality is love. the congo guerrillas forcing 8-year-old children to torture their mothers to death to make them psychopaths are love. terror and suffering are love. That your parents sell you to a Filipino brothel when you are 6 years old, to pay for methamphetamine, it's love. the party of love. It is very difficult to understand it, I do not understand it right now, but in some moments I do -

Hitler thought the same when walking through some Berlin neighborhoods. About the towers, the west bombed Baghdad in response. the attack on the towers was done by a terrorist group, the destruction of Baghdad or Libya, killing hundreds of thousands of civilians, leaving it disintegrated, in the hands of warlords who trade in slaves, was planned and executed by democratic governments of welfare states. crazy right? -

I would say that for you, you are the only thing that exists, a display of imaginary dualities that can collapse and be not two, leo exist in your imagination, but for him, there is only him and you are in his imagination, and really none of the two exist but you are a set of imaginary dualities that seem to happen at the same time but really there is no such thing as "happen" but the totality being. It seems that there are infinite points of view and you are only one of them, and you cannot access the others, but the reality is that your point of view and mine, and that of a fly, are the same, but they seem several, and they are really none, only the still totality. nothing that can be understood imo -

consciousness is what it is, total. the ego hides it as the fog hides the sky. the more ego, the more hidden. no ego, radiant blue sky. So raise your consciousness means decrease your ego -
Breakingthewall replied to Elton's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Elton yes, you are bias. because without bias there would be no you. just totality. but what nonsense wanting to be you, being totality, don't you think? -

The Great Way is not difficult for those who have no preferences. When both love and hate are absent, everything becomes clear and diaphanous. However, make the slightest distinction, and heaven and earth are infinitely distant. Hsing hsing ming -

@Vladimir well, maybe I'm too touchy, but if someone calls me "pathetic" I perceive aggressiveness -

Maybe he said it because you spoke to him in an aggressive way. now you go to passive aggressive. you remind me of a girlfriend I had???. Don't be so mean -

do a mental exercise. Imagine that you undergo surgery and a wire is cut in your brain that disconnects all your senses. blind, deaf, tactless, etc. put yourself carefully in the situation. where would you be? what would you be? Imagine that after having a season in that strange situation, your memory is erased. what would you be?
