I use a flask and a torch, like this.

I think it can be useful for that, as well as for something as banal as being in a bad mood or angry with someone since it has the quality of breaking up your energy body for a moment, not completely in low doses but it makes it lighter. then everything stops mattering, the body and mind lose tension. I used it a lot but I stopped using it because I started to have a strange, artificial feeling, but the time I used it, both high and low doses, was extremely useful in many ways.

If you want to achieve real openness you must be able to deactivate the mind easily. This is not meditative discipline, that does not work, you simply have to completely stop believing in the mind. That is, knowing that absolutely nothing that the mind creates makes any sense. Once you have reached this point, with very low doses of any psychedelic, such as 40 ug of LSD or 3 hits of weed, you can completely immerse yourself in the fluid of reality and open yourself to the limitless. nothing prevents you because what the mind creates takes on a transparent quality, it is completely irrelevant, just noise. -

10 minutes ago I was meditating in a park looking at a tree at night. At one point, my eyes opened a crack to reality, the veils lost their consistency for a few minutes. The revelation was of a power that seemed like it was going to melt my brain, the breadth and strength of reality shone with a power capable of killing. Being enlightened is impossible, you can have flashes but no one has ever been enlightened and no one ever will be. looking into the face of the living infinity is death -

Death is real because the bubble of existence that you are explodes and disappears, but it is not important because there are infinitely more bubbles and all of them are the same: existence The problem is that the human mind is incapable of capturing reality, I don't know to what extent it would be possible. I would say that the total vision of what reality is would blow the fuses of any human mind , but it's fascinating to try to see -

There is no god, there is the intelligence of reality. Just opening your eyes a millimeter to what the intelligence of reality is is overwhelming. Life, the power that flows from reality is like an atomic explosion. The mental reflection we make of ourselves is absolutely pale. You have to open the veils and see. It is blinding, overwhelming, immeasurable. It seems like a joke, you open your mind to something that makes your being tremble and your human mind completely humbled. You laugh out loud because it seems like a joke. Total life overwhelms you, you are that. Incredible, I am neither more nor less than the infinite existence that springs with the power of infinite atomic bombs. something like this guy playing the drums elevated to cosmic power -

Yes but you are not only the dream, the dream is just a part of you. You are creating the dream. Without dream you still exist, but the dream can't exist without you -

I suppose we all agree that existence exists, the question is why we call it god. God implies creation, control and will. God implies a mind that dreams reality, which therefore would be imaginary, that is, unreal. -

Define god -

You need a cause right? and that cause is god. And what is the cause of God? The universe is god, but the point is what it is god. God is just a word, reality is better. And better is empty mind and see directly. -

That's Santa Claus. There is not a creator, that's what I'm trying to say. The idea of a creator is what the human mind tends toward because it needs the cause-effect relationship. The idea of a creator who dreams, and who is also you, is very reassuring, since practically no one has the detachment to look into the face of infinity. The god you speak of has limits everywhere, reality does not. Reality is infinite intelligence, but it is wild, it is not defined, it is inevitable. It's much better than god, it's absolute freedom, and we are that. -

Yes, I check here often , like now that im in the subway. By the way, I never watch movies, series, no readings, no media, just this, couple of hours while I'm doing anything else. I'm interested in this matter, what to do? Do you think you know what God is from reading things on this forum? Maybe you don't understand that practically no one, since homo sapiens developed what we call the mind, has really understood what existence is. To think that you understand it because you have read some texts is a kind of joke. I simply state what I see. I understand that many people feel safer with the playful, loving god who imagines dreams, but that's religion, nonsense. How about you try some direct vision? It is extremely exciting, but first you must empty your mind -

Of course it's easy because any belief deserves mockery -

Sure, don't forget to say your prayers before going to sleep, and don't touch yourself too much because the baby Jesus cries, and I'm sure Shiva will too. -

@Creatorbeing It is a question of semantics, illusion is opposed to real, dream to wakefulness. If reality is unreal, what is real? The answer would be the dreamer, the puppeteer, god, who as they say here would be a playful little devil who hides from himself like a game. but I would say that those are complete bullshit. Reality is what it is, there is nothing more real behind it, there is the human mental veil that obscures perception. And regarding spiritual teachers who use mysterious language...well, this is as old as human beings. This business was already practiced by the sorcerers of each tribe, the Greek oracles, the Celtic druids....better than taking the plow, less tiring and also the girls will love you -

Sure, with the nuance that it is something unlimited, therefore indefinite, therefore without any control, nor intention, nor free will. It is existence, freedom that is, that can't scape of it's nature, Brahman, life, something wild. calling him god seems inaccurate -

I'm going to explain it to you one more time to see if something penetrates your mind, since we've been talking for years and I consider you a comrade. Let's see, you are not enlightened, not at all, not even a little bit. Why? If you have done many trips with 10 grams of mushrooms, great courage, but what have you found? the emptiness, the nothingness. You were perceiving that reality is nothing, absolute void, before birth as you say. I have told you that I have had that same experience several times with psychedelics, at first it is horrible, after you get used to it... a little. It is death, dead emptiness. There is one last barrier to break there, which is that of you perceiving the void. You have to merge with the void and be the void. This is something that happens if you really give yourself. When it is not you looking at the void but you expand in the void and you are the void, without an observer, the infinite void is revealed as infinite life, the total reality that is, freedom without limit. What you are. Now you will answer something like: brother, that is not like that, I hope that one day you will achieve it blah blah. what do you gain with that? Why don't you listen? drop the self totally, let yourself fall into the void without any reservation. That the action that is necessary to do. -

Reality is not a dream or an illusion, it is simply real. what is an illusion is all the mental meaning we give it. If you want to immerse yourself in existence and be one with it, simply erase the meaning completely. Vertigo! completely letting go of all the baggage until there is nothing left, mind empty of content. This does not mean restraining the mind with meditation, this is useless if you still believe in the mind. It will be silent but its walls will remain firm. On the other hand, if you stop believing in the mind, you take away all its energy, it can continue moving but you see through it, only then can one pass through the door without a door, the door that is the self, the same one that wants to pass through the door. This self must be dropped to allow the unlimited to manifest. It is a difficult mental sport, but it is necessary, anything else is jail -

try to analyze your message. Everything, from the first word to the last, has one goal: to win. You use tactics to disarm the opponent's arguments and when there are no more arguments, you use condescending and irritating phrases, gas lighting, appeal to supposedly superior authorities, etc. The question you should ask yourself is: what do you get with that? -

Could you explain to me how I contradicted them? instead of repeating the irritating litany: brother, you'll realize one day -

It is impossible to talk to you because you don't even read what people tell you, your only objective is to win what you consider a competition and you are trapped in ideas transmitted by gurus like papaji or nisgardatta. Zero life, zero depth emerges from your message. What do you gain from your game? inflate your ego? that's useless. Totally sterile. Now you're an ally of the other guy because he said you are right before, and he's angry with me for criticizing his deified sadhguru. what is this? a kindergarden? -

You said that because you can understand what I'm saying. You are clearly a believer and a follower. Sure it brings to you a more calm experience, but it's impossible to break the barrier of the mind in that way. You need to be totally fearless, but it's a sterile message because you can't understand what I'm talking about. -

Death is imaginary in the sense that it does not exist now, it is just an idea. There are two ways of looking at existence, longitudinally or deeply. From the longitudinal point of view, death is real and is at the end of the timeline. From the deep point of view, death is just an idea that happens now. The deep point of view is the one that must be adopted to experience reality in a, let's say, real way. The longitudinal point of view is necessary for the planning and development of human life, but it obscures the depth of the moment. It is necessary, but you have to be able to turn it off completely at will, to fully immerse yourself in the depth. In the depth there is no death, no self, no others, only the fluid substance of reality. -
Breakingthewall replied to James123's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
God is just a fantasy, only the reality is. You could call it god if you want, but for me it's not a correct word. The word god implies creator, control, a puppeteer behind the scenes. Reality is not like that, it is completely direct, it is unlimited existence flowing, organizing itself into perfect structures because that is its nature. True spirituality is to open yourself to it and understand its dynamics as deeply as possible, not to lose yourself in crazy fantasies of gods.
