I think we all know here that self-help doesn't work, it's a scam. Telling someone to love everything is very good, especially to seem very elevated and fulfilled, but anyone a little smart will see through this kind of affirmations. Telling someone full of anxiety, fear, hatred, shame, to love sunrises and their peers is very inauthentic. It only leads to falsehood and frustration. -

I think it's more or less like that, and that in the best cases, in the worst cases it is spirituality with religious ideas about past lives, demons, angels and so on. I think the problem is that without psychedelics it is very difficult for someone to truly go deeper and begin to understand what reality is. I know two people who have done several vipassana retreats, that is extremely hard, and they have had no use at all, only self-help and also a short-lived effect, since in a month or two they are the same as always, with anxiety. There are people who can access what we can call mysticism, openness to the unlimited, whatever you call It, without psychedelics, but they are few, the majority will remain at a superficial level. But the problem is that psychedelics are very deceptive, they have a fundamental component of deception, you have to realize that. Our psyche doesn't want to open and that's why it doesn't, you give it a chemical and you break its defenses, but it will always hold on, it will remain in part, it will come back and appropriate the experience, define it and convert it in part of his baggage. The objective of psychedelics is to acquire depth and show the psyche that opening is possible, that existence without structure does not mean madness or death, and then access depth in an increasingly normal and complete way. I think it is a fairly long and difficult process, and psychedelics deceive and inflate the ego, everyone thinks they are more advanced than Buddha and Jesus Christ combined from day one, when what we are is still trapped in our mental structure. -

What is sought with spirituality is to realize what reality is, not to define it as a dream or anything else, but to open yourself to it and be it. Definitions like dreams are in the mental and only distance you from what reality is. forget them and pierce the psyche until only the unlimited remains -
Breakingthewall replied to Inliytened1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The reality is that if you want to open yourself to total existence you must open yourself to the face of existence that is yin, destruction, violence, disease, torture, oppression and isolation. When we talk about suffering we talk about moving away from suffering, with this mental dynamic duality is created and with it falsehood. All spiritual teachers sell the paradise of ala, milk honey and hot girls, in one way or another. They are scammers with a beatific smile who want your attention. There are not shortcuts, if you want the whole, the whole is whole. -

@James123 there are many limitations. For example, last night I had a strange dream, I dreamed that some guys were taking a dog to a field, and to punish it for not barking when some thieves broke in, they doused it with gasoline and set it on fire, then the dog was a ball of fire and It is absolute suffering, sadness and incomprehension of so much horror. I thought, why does reality have this in it? Then reality disintegrated and everything was limitless and equal, pure reality. It was perfect and wonderful, but above it was the dog and its horror. Then I saw my limitation, I saw that I do not accept the horror of life, and I saw my fear. My fear is great, and it is stupid to deny it, but it is necessary to look it in the face, know it well, if I want to be free -
Breakingthewall replied to Reciprocality's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You define things positively or negatively: you are nothing, you are love, you are free, infinite. This means absolutely nothing, you have to take an action, open your perception, open your mind and your being to what reality is, for this you have to do something: eliminate the limits. Just that, and for this you have to be humble enough to see your limits -
Breakingthewall replied to Reciprocality's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Just because i taste often the real freedom. The bottomless well of existence, the totality, the eternal smile, what I am. and in order to completely open perception, it must have no limits, the opening must be absolute. You must open yourself to the totality. Silence is not going to make this happen, silence is just silence, it is not very different from noise. The opening is with your whole being, not with your mind. you must open yourself now, completely, to the existence of this moment, then that existence erases the mind, only opening remains. From that opening existence flows and you are one with it. But the problem is that the psyche has thousands of little traps that are waiting to close, to immerse you back into the psyche. These traps can be very different, and you have to know how to see them, understand what limits you and have the courage to face it. Do you really not fear death? Be honest with yourself, are you free? almost no one is, it is one thing to have moments of freedom, another to be in total freedom. Do you understand what that means? Fear is powerful, there are many layers. Face the existence without filter has not shortcuts. -

No, the attitude must be as a knife, not as a gentle prophet, because I'm not a prophet. I'm just someone how open the psyche to see the infinity, and the only way to do that is becoming limitless. To do that you need to have some clarity, if not you would fall in some of the many subtle traps of the finite -
Breakingthewall replied to Reciprocality's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There is no difference between having an empty or full mind, the difference is in understanding the dimension of what appears in the mind and not letting yourself be trapped by its limitations. There can be silent meditation and no openness and there can be an active mind and openness. -
Breakingthewall replied to Inliytened1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
but the guy is right about one thing, it is essential at a given moment to let go of control, control is a limiting factor, total abandonment has to be possible during certain moments, maybe it is possible to live like this all the time, but at least circumstantially It is a necessary step, although it is not equivalent to openness. I suppose it would be possible to live like this permanently full time, the true enlightened ones, but for a person who works and has to maintain a let's say normal life, it is very difficult imo -
Breakingthewall replied to Inliytened1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It seems that he has achieved some kind of surrender, absence of desire, acceptance, which sure will be positive for his life, but which is not the dissolution of the barriers of the self and the opening to the total limitless existence. I would say that he does not contemplate that possibility, but rather he has an idea of enlightenment based on the acceptance of what is. It is normal if he has not considered the psychedelic path, because he couldn't see that dimensions. Maybe for some that is not necessary, but for the majority it is necessary to give a deep dimension to the psyche and from there carry out the action of opening, of total breaking of the limits -

The configuration of existence is of a dimension that is difficult to imagine or rather impossible. Imagine your body right now, all the synchronized cycles that are taking place for it to exist as such, each one of them a manifestation of infinite intelligence and infinite themselves. 7 to the power of 27 of atoms, each of them a quantum universe of greater complexity than what the most powerful computer can intuit. each of them located in the exact place, being replaced by other atoms constantly, like a perfect universe forming a defined and exact pattern. 40 trillion cells, each of them an individual living being, with its full load of DNA and a defined and perfect life cycle. all this working in exact synchrony creating an individual who in turn is part of a human collective with a collective ego in evolution, moving in a defined and inexorable direction, within a planet that is part of a galaxy, which is part of a universe, etc etc etc, all absolutely perfect, like a cosmic clock that turns in one direction. and within the smallest subatomic particle is infinity in its entirety, the absolute intelligence. what reality is seems like a joke, but that's what infinity is like, infinite. -
Breakingthewall replied to BojackHorseman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Maybe a level is reached in which they accesses another completely different dimension within infinite dimensions of existence. If this finite universe exists with its big bang, its protons and neutrons and all that, it is logical to think that there are other universes, other dimensions, other realities unimaginable from our mental configuration. -

Concepts point to realities. There are more precise concepts, others completely wrong. There are sincere people and lying people, it is important to be able to detect them. What we seek is to go through the human psyche and open ourselves to the limitlessness that we are, and to achieve this, some ideas help and others are an obstacle -

Solipsism is false because it implies limit. You are not alone because you have no limits, it isn't that you are one, it's that you are not two, it is different. If realization is one, it is limited -

Nobody is tired of talking about enlightenment because here we hardly talk about it, but instead we compare penis measurements. Who cares about being free when you can have a penis that drags on the ground when you walk? -

@Water by the River The mirror is empty because it has no bottom, and therefore cannot be filled, but what it reflects is its own nature and therefore, it also has no bottom. what has no bottom exist because nothing limits it. Nobody said that there is only flow of emergence but that the reflection is the mirror. What reality has as substances is real, regardless of its form. Forms change, reality is always the same, unfathomable. So saying that the form is imaginary is misleading since it suggests a subject imagining an object, when the subject is the object, which makes the object completely real. but I guess there are several ways to express the same thing. The only thing that matters is perceiving the quality of the bottomless, and to do this, as you say, the frame must disappear since if there is a frame, there is a bottom. The only way to perceive what has no limits is to have not limits, since you cannot perceive it if there is still some limit, because you would perceive just the limit. This is totally obvious and it seems that mostly dont understands it, and they continue to insist on putting plots on everything. Infinity=empty, because it has no frame, and therefore cannot be filled, but wherever you look there is a reflection, so it is also full. Is that reflection just a superficial image? yes in its appearance, but its essence is the total depth of the mirror. This makes everything look like it is: infinite. Blake already said it: if the doors of perception were opened.... This has two traslations: everything is real or nothing is real. It depends of how do you look at it. -
Openings with psychedelics always have a component of deception, since the psyche is not really prepared to move away and you are forcing it away. It will always find a loophole to grab onto. Nothing happens as long as you are aware that your realization is partial and do not make the common mistake of believing in it as if it had been an absolute revelation. Its usefulness is not that but to show you the way, to highlight the points in your mind that are holding on. you have to be smart and use psychedelics to understand and work on your mind so that it can open spontaneously and soberly in a regular, normal way, and not be stupid and believe in your psychedelic experience and conceptualize it

Insigtful. What you are talking about is genuine perception of what you are as human, of the pattern of existence that is unfolding now. Everything is real and cyclical, energetic patterns upon patterns built throughout the total cosmic cycle. It is not spiritual woo woo, it is something real that can be perceived, seen clearly. Every micro movement that occurs in our life, every perception, thought, sensation, everything, is a consequence and part of a butterfly effect of proportions that go far beyond what we can perceive. If you have seen this, you can also see how the cycle that you are develops, intuit the direction, the steps to follow and flow with the wave, start swimming with the current instead of being static, and even start surfing and give some somersault from time to time. once you start, it's like everything, you get the hang of it -

In the total, clear and crystalline void is what exists. His essence is happiness and laughter, since nothing can limit him. Its quality is perfection, since it is total. Its faces are infinite, and it cannot be otherwise. It never changes, as it contains all change, all colors, all forms and all dimensions, in which it rejoices and dances. It exists always and always, in eternity, it is fullness, happiness and glory. Don't you get tired of existing trapped in yourself for so long? I am not trapped, because there are no limits. Don't you run out of power after such a long time? Never, because there is no time. strange, how is it possible? Simple, I am the infinite, and it cannot be any other way -

The only way to transcend the psyche and open yourself to the total absolute for 99.9% of people is to work with psychedelics. You can say that you are afraid to do this and you prefer not to try it, it is respectable, but then your chances of achieving real progress in your life in this sense will be minimal. You will be going around in circles until you die of old age. Serious work with psychedelics has risks and you must be mentally strong, anything real in life has risk. but it is much riskier to stay stagnant -

@Osaid If the past is not real and you live in the present, then if yesterday your 5-year-old children were tortured for hours to death in front of you, today you will be in a state of perfect equanimity since nothing is happening now, right? Look, the past is absolutely real, as real as your body, the only thing that is happening now, just like your body. It's a solid energetic pattern, it's just not "physical", but that doesn't make it any less real, you can't forget it. Millions of years of evolution have made it this way, it is the configuration of the human pattern of existence. The past has an emotional charge that takes time to deactivate and can be reactivated if the mechanisms that caused it have not been transcended at the current moment. You can erase the meaning of the psyche completely and be completely present, but to do so you would have to have a complete openness to the unlimited, that i dont perceive in you, which would erase the human psyche, to the level that it would not matter to you Life and death. There will be people who achieve that, but extremely few, and the question is: do you want that? because I think there will be time for it when i am dead, for now an intermediate level is what seems appropriate to me -
