Time is the measure of change. Without change there is no time. time itself is just an idea, ego. The ego is the idea we have of ourselves as a timeline. If you eliminate that idea there is no time. For a sardine there is no time because it does not see itself as a timeline from birth to death. Like anything else, time is created by whoever is aware of it. The sardine is not aware of time, so in the sardine dimension time does not exist. Humans are aware of time, therefore, in the human dimension time exists. For the aliens of the jx23 system, the concentric alternating inderdimensional flow exists, therefore in their dimension, that flow exists. Reality is infinite potential, conciousness is the manifestation of part of the existence, aka reality, time is just some dimension of the existence, between infinite other dimensions that we can't even imagine. -

Yes, sometimes they smoked the pipe of peace, but Manitou quickly got bored and created some circumstance so that what was appropriate and fun would be to unearth the ax of war. The same thing happened to Odin, Tyr, Ares, Mars and others. Fortunately, Jesus Christ arrived and brought peace and love to the world. -

Agree, then could be said that there is not an absolute morality. For example for me it's immoral to eat fish because fishing promotes the destruction of marine life, but a Somali fisherman will think I'm retarded -

Accepting reality is one thing, very important and useful, and reaching mystical states and total openenss to the absolute is another. You can say that they are stories if you feel better with that, but obviously they aren't. Reaching mystical states doesn't mean that you are better or free of suffering, could help or not, it's just the breaking of the surface and the perception of the depth. After that you could be very sad because you don't get sex or anything. All that you say about the player and the character are just mental stories, you don't know the structure of reality, why the cosmos is as it is and what "the player" is. You explain it as if you were a teacher explaining a lesson to a kid when you are inventing an history. Funny Why don't reach first mystical states , then try to start to see the point of the iceberg? Maybe you realize that you are wrong ir all your vision of what cosmos is -

It depends, if you are an Apache the morality is: Kill all the Comanches, if possible by torturing them by having dogs devour their intestines or by dragging them among cacti. Then enslave their women and have many children with them. If one bothers you, exchange her for a horse or cut off her nose. -

Yeah, because being human is imbalance by definition. It is a configuration that has as standard inevitable psychological buttons that lead to war, both internal and external. To think that this is some mistake that humans have made out of immaturity is to deny the obvious: war is our nature. genocide, torture, depression and madness. party! It is the most efficient formula that reality has found to optimize the movement of evolution of a new being that has freed itself from matter and grows at an exponential rate: the matrix, the collective ego. nothing living evolves without the material support of the gene, except the matrix. Humans are simple supports of that matrix, serial processors that lend strength and evolutionary drive to that being. What we call enlightenment is leaving that matrix and existing autonomously, like a crocodile. abandon the mental parasite that we give power to with our neurotic energy. In short, something unnatural, since what is natural is neuroticism, imbalance and war -

Look, the idea here is: infinity. The reality is one and multiple. Infinite dimensions synchronized perfectly. A proton is a whole dimension, you are a whole dimension, the crocodile another, until infinity. All of them are just holograms, forms that arises due de absence of limitations, it's unavoidable, and all of them are just appearances, then, the suffering is just an appearance. You are just appearance, an me too. Under all the appearances, the absolute depth that exists is, and there all us are one. Then, all the levels of the ego, intelligence, etc, ultimately are just an appearance, are absolutely nothing. Only the total depth is real, and it's very easy to understand: total depth. That's it. But another angle of vision is: every form is the total depth, then , it's everything. I prefer the second, seems more rich and alive to me. At the end the important point is realizing the total depth, your true nature. Are you lost in the form, or are you one with your true nature? That would be the question -

An ego level 10 compared with an ego level 2 millions are nothing compared with the infinite depth of the being. Ego is nothing, you can let it go totally, is just a mirage, and hologram superimposed on the infinity. That's the source of suffering, btw, believing that the ego is something, but it's unavoidable since the ego is. Well, water by the river probably disagree. Maybe we should lock him 2 years in a dark room and then ask -

The crocodile is an universe itself, a total dimension of being, same than you. The dimension called crocodile is infinite, same than you. The main difference is that you are a more, let's say, noisy dimension. But both are absolute, the entire reality. There are no levels, just different forms -
Breakingthewall replied to Breakingthewall's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Id say that a crocodile is absolutely aware of his nature. If not it couldn't be. The difference is that it has no ego, but to think that the ego is more intelligent than the crocodile, that it creates itself from nothing and remains in perfect harmony, is a mistake. The ego is just a software with a function and what it knows is nothing. The ego must make an effort to get out of the deception and place itself in the truth, the crocodile does not, it is pure truth. the ego knows a fraction of the infinite, that is, zero, because the rest that doesn't knows is infinite. -

Sure. The question would be: what resistance is? Something, let's say, wrong, that shouldn't exist? A mistake of the creation? Something that I, the ego, should correct in order to have a better experience? Let's say sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some healthy suffering is necessary, whatever Nietzsche says -

Permanently? Well, l know you will say yes, that suffering can be completely transcended and the mind be permanently free of obstacles. But let's see, we are human, our programming is there. If you lock yourself in a dark room for 2 months, what about? zero suffering? Beautiful song btw -

Sounds quite hellish. It would seem that reality has certain problems learning to use the human interface, and the balance is precarious -

He has the impulse of understanding. The question would be: is he getting deeper in understanding? because for example, there are people, like sadhguru that you use to mention, who say that they have a fairly deep understanding of the nature of the cosmos, of its structure, and could be so. Leo talks about understanding consciousness. what does that mean? consciousness is reality, and reality exists, that is all the understanding you are going to get, since it is an absolute understanding: I am. That's it, goal, there is nothing more to know about it. existence exists and I am that. congratulations. So what else to understand? the order of the cosmos, the nature of suffering, the cycles of creation and death, the infinite dimensions of being, the cause of this structure. Have anyone here deep understanding about that? Would be great -
each person is totally different from another. There is no single formula. you should follow your intuition whether doing psychedelics or anything else. At a given moment you reach a point where your desire for openness and rupture is complete, so psychedelics are very useful, but meditation without them could also be useful, or contemplation. What you mention about small doses being equally effective as heroic doses is, in my opinion, a sign of openness. resistance patterns are softening and ger dissolve with any push

The ego that one tries to transcend is the pattern of existence that perceives itself as limited, a space-time line that is happening with certain characteristics, to replace it with a complete openness to the now, in which reality perceives itself as depth in movement, immutable in essence, perceiving it's true nature, the alive flow that arises from the absence of limits, the existence. Can this be achieved with psychedelics? yes, and in any other way.

I understand what you're saying from an individual perspective, but I think we have to look at it by taking a step back. The volume of suffering that humanity has generated for itself to evolve from the animal integrated in nature to civilization and what this entails is of a brutal, unimaginable dimension. a crucible of hellfire created to shape a structure that existence desires. forget the ideals of kindness and love and observe the naked reality, its brutality and absolute lack of mercy. Reality doesn't care about the suffering, it cares about the result. and the reality is you. Let's say that the substance of reality is absolute happiness, but its creation mechanism uses suffering without restriction because for reality it is simply a means to deepen in itself. Then suffering should be perceived as what it is and accept it as a part of the game, and see it's beauty. -

Yes, ok, it's an extreme example but in another hand those small details like suffering because you are ugly and girls reject you, or because your parents hate each other, or because your neighbor's car is better than yours, is, as you say, lack of conscience. but suffering because your family is sold to the brothel and all that.... is also. exactly the same, but in another level. It's just programming. A crocodile does not suffer if its family is sold to the zoo, it suffers if you set it on fire for example. Well, you, as part of the human hive organism, suffer because your wife has left you for another and demands money from you. You suffer enormously, more than the crocodile dying of hunger. since the hive wants your energy, your movement, your push, so that added to other billions of pushes, it moves forward the total evolutionary organism called humanity. -

Pain is a natural mechanism intended to cause suffering. The function of this suffering is to provoke a movement in the individual to avoid it and thus prolong his survival. The problem is that as a human you are not an individual, you are a hive entity, and your suffering is the suffering of the hive, and its goal is not to move you to promote your survival, but to push the hive to promote its evolution. and the software is made so that you cannot or do not want to escape from it. Even that you can't understand it, and make you think that you are acting selfish when you are just a programmed ant -

Yes, well, that's ok until the Romans sell your family to a brothel and make you row with whips to death. Human experience use to do uncomfortable turns -

Then that you exist is a belief? I'm perceiving existence right now, or better, existence is perceiving itself right now. That's not a belief, it's a fact -

Fear is a basic, genetically encoded emotion. It is what keeps you alive, but it must be dominated for one simple reason: in the end you die. If fear dominates you, like most humans today, you are a neurotic incapable of facing reality, who sees death as something unimaginable and alien. Until modern times, humans faced death inevitably on a daily basis, war, illness, a simple childbirth, placed you on the edge of the abyss. It was not unusual for people to face death or torture with serenity. Nowadays we live in a bubble of security that is not real since death always comes, but we do not see it, we hide it. Almost no one has seen someone die, or seriously thought that they were going to die today. This is pleasant but it strengthens fear and creates neuroticism and avoidance of reality. -

The problem is that later everything restarts based on the previously constructed patterns, so yes, it is a game, but if you play it wrong you are penalized by repeating the same phase, perhaps in hell, to forge that weak pattern a little and restart it into something with more evolutionary projection. In my opinion, you have to take the game seriously, because the range of hellish situations is very wide. I personally prefer to avoid them, but it's just a personal idea, in the end who knows? -
Breakingthewall replied to Actualising's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The thing is extremely simple, you just have to remove the meaning of your mind. Simple but not easy . If you really remove the meaning, you are removing also the time. Your life stops to appear as a timeline and manifest as alive depth. When is say open I mean remove the meaning, that closes. That's not implies that the depth that you perceive is the maximum possible depth, just that you change your angle of perception from false to true. Then you could deepen as you can, depending of your characteristics, will, etc. at first is scary, like being without anything to grab, after you get used to it, it's just the reality.
