I think that it's possible to dissect totally the reality, just remove what is not logic Self is a confusing word. In spirituality, they say we have to dissolve the self, but really, the self is our structure at all levels. You can't dissolve it. You can align it, open it, whatever, but there's always self; you are the self in the sense of this structure. The thing is, this structure is evolving. It comes from bacteria, animals, humans, who are absolutely focused on remaining and reproducing, War, domination. All of these processes are inevitable. They're like something that rises in frequency and then lowers. It needs to reach a certain point to then be able to relax control and open its perspective. It's an intuitive process, and it requires becoming aware that you can penetrate reality, escape the magnetism of the mind conditioned for survival, at least in large part, But it's something progressive -

It's as if just beneath the surface there were an ocean of moving structures, coordinating with each other down to perfect synchronicity. Right now, reality is flowing. We are reality. We can see it, grasp its essence, align ourselves with it, open our focus. Everything else is irrelevant. We put a barrier between ourselves and the flow. resistance, control. We can open ourselves completely to the flow, but first, we must align our structure. Understanding and opening are parallel. More opening, more understanding, more understanding, more opening. -

The problem with spirituality is that it's confusing. Spirituality constantly creates distinctions between good or evil, selfish or selfless, peaceful or agitated, and gets lost in those distinctions. Reality is simple, it's absolutely logical. Simple in the sense that everything is logical structures superimposed on one another, complicated in the sense that those structures are infinitely complex. To open the focus, you have to remove the meaning from everything. Meaning closes down. You get lost in it Great that you resonate with my dissection of reality, I can't help but dissect -

Imo it's not false, it's just relative. It's different. stillness, peace are ideas with an opposite. There is a structure of existence that is you, it is closed in on itself due to the structure of reality, to its development. Its tendency is to align and open itself. To open up means to remove barriers and look directly into your infinite nature. Your infinite nature has no opposite, it is not peace, or goodness; all of these are distinctions that closes, completely meaningless from an unlimited perspective, nothing means anything. Meaning means nothing. The changeless contain infinite changes, the change is in its essence the changeless. To deny appearance is a mistake, appearance is an aspect of essence, what else could it be? -

Ego is the mental structure focused on survival, right? It's real insofar as it's necessary to survive then more than illusion separation is a temporary reality That implies that the ego is doing a trick to reinforce a belief. Why? The ego knows that it must survive, the other option is death. That's real, death is the dissolution of this concrete form. Maybe you could say that it's irrelevant, but even so, it's death What dream? Who is dreaming? Then if there is not a dream what is? Being awake? Simulate? Why anyone would simulate anything? Why the ego would do that? The structure of the ego is the most efficient possible due a concrete frame of reality, If not if wouldn't exist The infinity is always in a form, form is relation, relation is movement, contrast between opposites. Without movement is not existence, non existence is the absolute stillness, the absolute stillness is a possibility in absence of limitations, the fluctuation is another possibility, the second always prevail because the first is never, is the hidden face of the reality, hidden because it's "never". If fluctuation happens, infinite fluctuations happen, then they organized in logical relations just because incoherent relations are not relations. In short, always are infinite changes of state dancing in an infinite fractal, so why they are not real and its nature is real? Both are real, one is essence, other is manifestation. -

Very good approach to the figure of the wealthy, athletic, surfer-like pseudo-hippie who drives an 80k van and treats his life as a perfect showcase. I remember 8 months living in a town with people like that. Everything seemed perfect. Everyone was so cool, so attractive: parties, DJs, wild nature. And in the background, there was a strange, incomprehensible, alien vibe. What was it? If everything is perfect... It was all a hollow facade, the biggest piece of shit ever. A place to go crazy. Narcissism as a commonly accepted religion, toxicity behind every smile and every 5-second hug . all window dressing, a desire to be elite, to hang out with elite people, all to cover up the emptiness inside, their total lack of integrity. What a shit, scape without looking backwards. -

How's going life? Enlightenment is the opening of your structure to the unlimited nature of reality. It's something that happens not something that you know. This is what happens when the structure forged in the primordial mud of life that emerges and evolves through the struggle for survival of species and individuals becomes clear and aligns with the flow of reality, leaving behind its animal nature, like someone shedding a skin. -

People is so dumb that they can make a city of 20 million run like a Swiss watch. Or write novels, make satellites, create art.... -

Becoming enlightened. Probably In the future all the human will be. Being enlightened will be something extremely normal and science will decipher all the structure of reality -

Never, you could lose everything, including your life. That's a great idea. -

Normally, people are terrified of not being accepted. Most psychological problems stem from not being fully accepted and not accepting oneself. Balance and happiness are equated with being accepted and loved. Most people find a way to fit in, and depending on their advantageous fit, they consider themselves more or less happy. It's as if someone told you: "I'll give you a million." For a few days, you'd be happy and wouldn't have existential thoughts about death, the fragility of the body, and the meaninglessness and emptiness of existence. People focus on what they can get; they escape with alcohol, fiction, and sex. Sex is essential. Not only to do it, but to think that when you find your ideal partner, then you'll be happy. And when you have a partner, you think that at some point the relationship will make you happy. You just have to work at it a little more. Spirituality is also important : When I am spiritually fulfilled, I will be happy. People are not truly connected to their true selves, to their real feelings about life. They take refuge in an illusion of security and don't face life head-on, as that would be dramatic. This way, they function day after day in a functional, unsatisfactory state, lacking fulfillment. But it could be worse. Don't complain, and put on a brave face. What else to do? -

In an unlimited frame real movement is impossible, the point a is equal to point b, then any movement is relative to another movement or perspective. Any perspective must be change because the absence of change is just nothing. Any "something" is movement, and any movement is relative change relative to an opposite. Any movement must return sooner or later to its origin; it is not real in the absolute sense; it is relative to another perspective. It's like the law of entropy; eventually, everything disintegrates, because infinite progression is just impossible, but as the system is open, new movement arises always. Yes exactly, it seems like this is an inevitable progression. If you have this realization with psychedelics or meditation, it may seem extremely horrible, because it's like being trapped in an infinite prison, but that's because some ego remains. If there is no ego, freedom is absolute, precisely because there are no limits. -

When we adopt an unlimited perspective, a deeper understanding of reality begins to reveal itself. This is not a speculative claim, but an inevitable logical consequence: if there are no limits, then the potential is total . The real absolute is not a thing, a form, or a specific consciousness, but the total absence of limits, which implies bottomless potential. This infinity is that which allows anything to appear: reality is not a relation; it is where relation occurs, but same time is the essence of the relation. This means that existence is not a thing, but a relation, understanding existence as manifestation of reality. Everything that appears, from a subatomic particle to a galaxy, is not a closed substance, but a coherent configuration within a field of relationships. Existence is flow, the internal movement of infinity, the expression of potentialities that, due to their coherence, manifest as forms. Reality, by contrast, is absolute potential: what the Tao calls the “unborn,” that which never appears and yet allows everything. From this perspective, manifestation is not the totality of the real. In fact, what does not appear, the “never”, is as real as what does. The unmanifested is not a lack, but the source of the manifested. What exists is only an expression, a viewpoint, a temporary and relational configuration within the infinite. In states of true stillness, not the absence of movement, but of progression, time loses its directionality; thoughts continue, but their meaning dissolves. The mind keeps producing forms, but they are no longer meanings: they are transparent events. This perspective is unmoving not because it does not change, but because it goes nowhere. In that stillness, it becomes evident that all “movement” is merely a shift in perspective within something already complete. Infinity does not expand, it already is. what is recognized in that state is something radical: that the essence of everything is an immutable openness, formless, limitless, yet containing all. It is not a substance, not an identity. It is that which allows there to be something instead of nothing, because “nothing” would be a limit, and thus impossible. Existence, then, becomes inevitable. Reality lives because nothing limits it. The apparent movement of manifestation is not a march toward a destination, but a play of perspectives within what is already realized. Every apparent reality completes a cycle, not because there is a purpose, but because real movement in an unlimited framework is not linear: it is a reflection of its origin, a constant return. Infinity does not create, it simply is, and in being, allows all creation. -

The problem is that if he is not really open to the nature of infinity he's basically wrong. He could be smart, deep, anything, but is wrong. It's an essential qualitative point. If you start from a limited basis, everything that you perceive is limited, then what you express about the nature of reality is wrong. -
Breakingthewall replied to AION's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's just your opinion, being open to the nature of reality is something gradual and one thing is sure, any preconceived idea is a barrier -
Breakingthewall replied to AION's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
He could be smarter, but if he's limited, everything that he says starts from a limited basis Anyway maybe I'm wrong, just a perception listening him a while -
Breakingthewall replied to AION's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Everything is extremely simple. The infinity is due its infinitude, because the absence of limits make it inevitable. Not being would be a limitation. Always the reality is. Then reality reflects in itself in infinite perspectives , because not doing it would be limited, it's impossible, then everything is already expanded to infinity, and inside everything seems in expansion, but real expansion is impossible because it's already infinite, then everything is cyclical, cycles inside cycles to infinity. Everything that exists contain the infinite potential, there is no center or there are infinite centers, that's the same. Then anything that appears is just anything that appears, a manifestation of the absolute bottomless due the infinite relative reflection in itself. Just logic, find a incoherent point. -

You can understand the fabric of reality totally if you open yourself to the unlimited that you really are. Then you see what everything is. Im almost sure that Ralston never ve done that. He has a barrier, something subtle, like his heart is closed, he has a compound of narcissism that act as a barrier. He can't overcome it because he doesn't perceive it. He needs to believe that he already reached the totality, he's not hundred percent honest, and that narcissism acts like a shell than imprison him. He's not open to the absolute, to the unfathomable that is. In his speech you can perceive lack of depth. -

1 Because not doing any spiritual work and letting yourself be carried away exclusively by the mundane is a recipe for disaster. Most people don't see this and project toward the future, toward a happiness that will arrive when X, then, at some point they reach hell. 2 Because you want total openness to reality, to what existence is, without any subterfuge or barrier. It's a necessity, a process that begins and never stops for a single minute. A human evolutionary movement, like many others. -

Everyone suffers, but they don't realize it. They cover up their suffering with the world, with meeting standards, and believe they're happy. They're disconnected from themselves. When you realize you suffer all the time, to a greater or lesser extent, that's when you truly seek enlightenment. -
Breakingthewall replied to Meeksauce's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
God can't avoid being infinite, then can't avoid being manifested in infinite forms, then god ultimately is powerless, he's just the reality, inevitable. -

Yes, many times, but just for some minutes and because no real threat was happening. I think that for me it's impossible being enlightened in this life, but its possible look at enlightenment some moments. -

Agree that medieval torture is horrible, but also it's waiting for the results of a biopsy in the brain and those things that a lot of us are going to go through. Let's open our being to the infinite dimension on real because this life is a trap -

Medieval torture chamber is holidays in comparison with n old person who no one has ever loved, who is alone, paralyzed, demented, in chronic pain and in misery for 10 years, suffering every minute in terror of death without understanding what the hell this is, and there are millions like that everywhere.
