I’m still waiting on that substance Leo has mentioned will be announced eventually, but in the meantime I’ve been experimenting with 5-MeO as a non-seeker. It’s interesting...to say the least. I recommend 5meo if you’re going for ultra high states... It seems to work well for that ? But honestly if it weren’t for the tolerance issue I’d actually say high dose LSD is even more effective. Or just being yourself ??

It’s being yourself without anything in the way. Nothing doing everything. Free from guilt or concepts of not being worthy of this empty-full paradise. Even though it’s obvious nobody has ever done anything, the ego survives by imagining it can do and be aware of things.

Yeah that’s much of what emptiness teachings refer to. But where is the physical world apart from the perception of it? The appearance of materiality is dependent on how and where it is perceived, and where it is perceived from. Its actuality is not separate from its appearance. It’s not even an it. The physical world, materiality, is everything, and not the slightest bit different from This / Consciousness / no-thing.

? Or: You’re always letting go... However in either case there isn’t actually someone doing it. It’s the letting-go that nobody can do. It’s a totally impersonal play.

Contemplative inquiry can be quite fruitful. Just do what seems to be strengthening the qualities you like and/or weakening the qualities you don’t like — not just leading to that but actually bearing fruit now — with mindfulness and diligence this kind of takes off and the system will auto-pursue what seems to bring it peace in the moment. If doing nothing at all was bringing you everything you wanted, you’d continue doing that; if going all-in on life was bringing you everything, you’d continue doing that. Mindfulness can help with the more subtle activities that bring you joy, so you can start abandoning habits that don’t work, in favor of those that do work for your individual unique character.

While nothing is ultimately real, I actually do think Ra is probably real — not just in terms of apparent causal effects on those that read it, but real in this psychic reality in the same way that galaxies, countries, and people are “real.”

Well, since subjective reality has bias toward itself (or rather is that bias), human reality is biased towards human.

Agreed. It's also being yourself with nothing in the way, the causelessness and immediacy of what is happening, and the end of all ultimate distinctions between better and worse.

How could there be life after death, when life is death? Not that there isn't life after death in that sense... The more relevant question: how could there be liberation as opposed to no-liberation if there's only liberation? You talking about something other than that in the story?

Infinite Love is looked upon so highly here... It's not good; it's Good; simply all there is. If a human here were to closely embody infinite love they might get killed. Not only in the highly developed world, but by some of the members on here. Yeah yeah hyperbolic and offensive, I know. You probably won't be hearing that from me again for a long time lol

@Javfly33 Nice, but about that last part: that’s just putting a barrier between current circumstance and future life full-on as you want it to be, when there does not need to be a barrier. The ego can’t fall away in that way because there isn’t one.

Pointer: De-Liberation Perhaps: gain some momentum and let it flow. Fall out of life flat-out completely empty by paradoxically falling head-on completely full into it. Maybe even utilize LOA. Aaron Abke has great series’ on it.

For me it was when I was probably about 2 years old and had the realization that I had to go to the doctor every year to get a painful booster shot (vaccination/etc) and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. This realization of inevitable suffering prompted me to look at my hands and say (for what reason I don’t really know) out loud: “It’s just... ME.” That was the dawning of self-awareness for this psyche, or perhaps a few months after its subtle beginnings.

Nice. Just a nitpick though; bear with me: pay close attention in/after sleep, perhaps requiring the boosted consciousness on a meditation retreat or something, and you'll find... You are not unconscious even in the deepest sleep. You merely have near-total memory suppression (a type of ego-death). When you wake up, you can subtly tell if you were in deep sleep for a long while, or a short time. On the other hand, have you ever had an operation with deep anesthesia? That is actually total unconsciousness. The very instant you lose consciousness is the exact instant you regain consciousness. You could be out for years and it would be like instantaneously time travelling into the future from your perspective. i.e. for the thought experiment to be as accurate as possible, replace deep sleep with deep anesthesia. Cool insight though! However... Beware of solipsism!

I too find N,N-DMT to be a bit weird. Very alien, but not nearly as alien as miprocin! Miprocin (4-HO-MiPT) is synthetic, but it surely must be naturally found in a fungus on some other planet -- I literally believe that conclusion will basically be inevitable to nearly anyone who tries it! Lol! It's like the most organic experience... just not organic from planet Earth... LSD and 5-MeO-DMT are the best hands down ime/imo for insight and ego-dissolution. N,N-DMT is just a straight up mindfuck. As far as sinister? At this point I've realized that sinister feelings are quite correlated to the number and strength of hidden unfalsifiable beliefs currently held. With enough total awakening, sinister is nowhere to be found. But when it still happened, ime ketamine was the most sinister -- as if if takes you to the same place as 5meo...but from the opposite direction.

At death it will be recognized that one's life never happened the way one thought. It won't be over for anyone. Levels of consciousness is a powerful construct.
