  1. Unconditional Love ' ing Nothing being everything This wholeness does not move. Ever.
  2. @Endangered-EGO Interesting that deep realizations for you are associated with actions viewed from the other side as events and lies that caused later shame and guilt. For me, what's associated with these glimpses when seen from the other side, is wasted time. Every time. I've gone entire days just driving around amazed at how it's all just happening without me. Awareness of gravity completely gone and there's just sensations, driving, and ego death. Can't get anything important done in that state. I guess I could lie like to a police officer but for the most part lying is out of the question in that state. This was not under the influence of psychedelics, btw. I'd never drive on substances.
  3. What? Why would you think anyone here thinks consciousness is in the back of their head? Lol. Consciousness isn't anywhere.
  4. Or: How do I know “I am?” I know I am because I know I am? “I know because I know?” ? Is it really that circular? Where exactly is this claim “I am” coming from? Should be easy to find...right? Etc. @Godishere And maybe try the intense spiritual search: Simply turn away from all experience: By first repeatedly and diligently turning toward (hunting) the supposed “knower” (subject of every thought/object) — the knowing subject which seems ever-present and unchanging, And then by relaxing voluntary effort (intending neither action nor inaction) while allowing mental and physical activity to go on of its own accord (without you), and ignoring all experience/thought except for the intention to do just that, And then finally, when all that’s left is just spaciousness or witnessing, apply this intention (to turn away from each object/experience/thought either by relaxing/ignoring it or by turning toward its “knower”) even to itself.
  5. Exactly. Be conscious of what is likely to come across as nothing more than defensiveness, and think twice before posting it.
  6. That's your misunderstanding. Saying something is foolish but not objectively/ultimately so, is something I don't know how anyone could argue against.
  7. Why does morality have to be objective? Can't something simply be foolish? Why does it have to be ultimately so? Your complaints seem to come from fear + trying to be a good person -- think of its potential consequences. People sometimes commit suicide, and it isn't glorified here.
  8. Pretty sure he literally said it was foolish. Definitely at least implied that, among other things. Or equivalent. It's certainly in the air... Don't know what more you want.
  9. Close, but doesn't seem to absolutely be the case. Sure, an end to experience would not provide peace, obviously... for the reason you suggest. But you additionally assume not only that experience ends at body death, but also that experience is real in the first place.
  10. Well, since any exclusive positive claim is necessarily false, I cannot say reincarnation is real. It's like anything else: it may appear to happen. The Law of One / Ra Material (quite legit channeled work) provides some info on the technicalities of reincarnation (and metaphysics in general). If you haven't checked it out, I highly recommend it: https://www.lawofone.info/sessions.php Aaron Abke has an amazing series on the Ra Material if you're new to it. Very highly recommend it: Relative is absolute. The absolute appears as the relative.
  11. Ironically "I'll buy you the rope" seems to have "worked" thus far to my knowledge. No one in that community has done it yet lol
  12. Haven't read that, but yeah, relative is absolute. However, there is no real other place and time. It only seems like there is when it seems there's an individual. Individual = false claim: I am here now. When there's only what's happening, there isn't anything else. It's not even "happening constantly." It's just happening. Apparently.
  13. Well, that's true, it does include perspectives, but it only includes them as appearance, not reality. i.e. apparent separation does not prove real separation. There is no other real place and time. It only seems like there is when it seems there's an individual. Individual = false claim: I am here now.
  14. What would you propose? People sometimes commit suicide. This community is as far from pro-suicide as it can get.
  15. Grace? Nobody here looks highly upon suicide. In fact it's very much in the air that suicide is precisely not what this work is about. And Leo is handling it about as well as one could ask. In Patreon meetings with Jim Newman, for instance, if someone brings up suicide, Jim tells them "I'll buy you the rope." Basically the exact opposite happens here.
  16. Simply? The illusion = (that there is) "something else" (other than: this; what is; everything) If there seems to be a you, experiencing "your perspective" as ultimately real, it will seem as though there must be "another" perspective, which there isn't.
  17. Yeah it's just speculation, but it certainly fits. Seeking so hard it may have just been too much.
  18. I've realized The Witness and God though self inquiry, but it wasn't nearly as complete as a later God realization (realization of unconditional love) with ketamine + LSD. Not comparable. And the Jhana's are quite nice as well. In fact, they're so good, I used to wonder why they weren't the only thing anyone on the path ever talked about! Lol.
  19. Or, he could have been depressed underneath the outwardly and inwardly projected loving exterior, and essentially turned depression into a shadow... Then perhaps he was looking for whatever excuse to end his pain -- if he could concoct a comfortable story, he'd more easily be able to go through with it. Now, that is of course 100% conjecture, but something similar is totally plausible.
  20. This is basically the central point of spirituality... Not exclusive to Leo or actualized.org. There is no alternative... Well, apart from just not having the info disseminated at all... Freedom is dangerous; you have to take the good with the bad. You really do seem to take for granted just how careful and effective Leo has been thus far.
  21. You misunderstood. Yes, this is a mystery. My point was this is ALL there is. Show me something else. There's nothing other than what is. That there is something else is the whole dream...
  22. @King Merk Easily the most epic and helpful tomes on meditation and emptiness: Seeing That Frees MCTB TMI
  23. No. There is not. However, be careful... Even though this is all there is, be wary of these assumptions: That you should know all there is. That this is in (or at) an exclusive “here and now” as opposed to some other here and now. It’s those assumptions which can lead you astray — resorting to mere irrational, contorted, false belief that “this is all there is” in a way that is not the truth. There is only what does and doesn’t appear ≈ I am you.
  24. ? Well, I think you made the right choice! Imagine the potential horrors of those options... Not to mention, has a spiritual commune ever ended well? Like, ever? Maybe I’m wrong about that, but if true, I sort of doubt you’d be the very first to successfully pull it off. All things considered, you’ve done extremely well with actualized.org, in my estimation.
