  1. Not exactly, you are infinite even before you "die". Hitler isn't really Hitler, he is "God" pretending (to the point of believing it) to be Hitler, just as he was pretending to be millions of jews. None of this is real, it's all a play, or a game if you will, that "God" plays with and to itself for entertainment, or lack of anything else to do. Try to keep yourself busy for eternity, at some point you will probably decide to try some crazy sado-masochist shit, like killing yourself in a gas chamber over and over again... There is no Karma, Karma is something that you believe is your responsability, it only exists as much as you believe it to exist. In the end, you don't cause suffering to others (there are no others), you cause it to yourself, cause you wanted to try it and see how it feels.
  2. savior from what?
  3. I wouldn't think so. A little less than two years ago i experienced a sort-of-sudden enlightenment amidst some bad times in my life. Thing is, i was at the time taking vyvanse daily for adhd. I had been taking it for over a year and a half, so you could say my entire "spiritual journey" was while using it. Sincerely, i feel it even helped me. When i used to take lsd i would take it with vyvanse and it would make the trips so clear and easyer to understand. It was a completely different thing from lsd before vyvanse, since now i could focus on the insights and experiences i was having. Of course medicines vary, but i don't think there should be any problem with it.
  4. Hello everyone, i was today trying out the first Kryia Yoga techniques, starting with the alternate nostril breathing. Thing is, i have a deviated sptum, wich means my left nostril can take up air twice as fast as the right one, and expell that air too. I know through hearing and trying that expelling the air slower than when you breath in makes your heart rate slower. my doubt is if this could hinder my experience or make it dangerous in some way, as i oscillate between breathing in quicly and then taking very long to breath out, and then breathing in slowly and breathing ou really fast. The book says to take 6 seconds in each side, but to me that is simply impossible, right side takes at least 10-12 seconds, whereas the left one could be done in less than 6. I wanted to know you opinions as, from my little experience, i feel a little out of air by the time i finish letting out the air through the right side, and i that bothers me a little.
  5. It seems you don't want to invest it in assets, and that's fine. I will only say if you DO change your mind and wanna invest it, don't go for crypto or other speculative nonsense, that's where they get your money, over 90% of those who invest with speculative purposes loses their money. So, if for any reason at any point you decide to buy some assets, focus on buying stocks or reits (solid choice) that have profits and projected to maintain those profits in the long run. That's very important, focus on the long run, on you retirement. People who try to get rich fast with stock end up not getting rich at all. That all said, i think that amount can really help you with your LP so you should focus on it. If you ever start getting more money than you need from it then you should think about assets. I think their main point isn't getting you rich, as mentioned, it is giving you safety. So if you ever get sick and can't work for a year or more you will have the passive income from you investments to maintain your standard of living. Hope i helped, feel free to ask any question.
  6. here it says it couldn't find the track, i don't know if it's your file or my pc
  7. Here on this forum i read a few times these are two different things, and apparently the heart enlightenment was more profound or something. Can anyone tell me more about this? the realization of truth through the surrender of the mind would be the mind enlightenment? what about the heart one? or am i misunderstanding something?
  8. I live in Brazil, here we are experiencing a great divide in politics, we have a ressurgent far right and we have a progressive left that are at each other's throats. Last election we had something around 30% of votes going to the main progressive left candidate and some 15% to other leftist candidates ( who were also with a very progressive program). The thing is, i'm pretty sure are really far from having that much green, actually, i would say we probably don't have much green at all in our society. I've previously seen a supposed spiral dynamics graphic of Brasil, i don't think it has much research behind it, but it makes some sense ( our country is very divided between advanced big cities like são paulo and other areas wich are very backwards) here it is: What makes it more interesting is how so many places changed from voting for the workers party to voting for bolsonaro, wich makes me think that our left, at least the greatest part of it, is actually blue, including Lula himself, who was probably some sort of Blue/orange with some small shades of green and red. So, how do i tell appart a Blue progressist from a Green one? considering both will tend to see Bolsonaro as a monster? I talk about Brazil here cause it is my country, but feel free to use examples from yours.
  9. The people who changed their vote? I think the workers party started adopting many Green agendas ( Haddad, in my opinion, was ORANGE/green or something like that) so their Blue electors started reacting negatively to it. The downturn of the economy probably made people regress a little into a more radical form of Blue as well. What do you think? BTW, how's you country doing? i always check the news about argentina, but i never know how much i can trust it.
  10. I would suggest listening to Alan Watts a lot. During the beggining of my spiritual journey i thought a few times i was losing my mind, his words and his voice used to calm me down.
  11. BTW: Azul = Blue Laranja = Orange Verde = Green Amarelo = Yellow
  12. I've read before that you should drop the boat after crossing the river, and at the time i interpreted it as talking about religion specifically, now i'm wondering if it applies to Yoga too. Specially considering people say it has other benefits like for concentration and etc... So, has anyone tryed it? What are your thoughts? did you get any of those other realisations after enlightenment that Leo talks about?
  13. thanks for all the answers, i will try it out.
  14. The main difference is that i don't need this forum to ask myself. Other than that, i just want to hear the opinion of people who practiced Yoga both before and after awakening. I don't think it means anything, i've woken up already, and even though "I" WILL try it out a little bit, it would be nice to hear the opinions of others who tryed it. That's why we are here isn't it? As far as i know it's supposed to be a way to get concentrated and "clean" yourself for enlightenment. But in my case waking up didn't take much discipline or focus, so i kinda wanted to go for it right now...
  15. "If I was awakened, and I didn’t have a Life Purpose or mastery in anything, would I be motivated to cultivate one simply because I would prefer it and for the fun of it? As if I was playing with lego? " Exactly, and you inspiration would be free to choose something that could make this life incredible.
  16. "and what I really want is Enlightenment." It seems to me you have an idea where you want to go. Life purpose is important, but life is always changing, today you want something, tomorrow you may want something else. And i feel that is specially true on the spiritual journey. As you get to know yourself more and more, things you tought you wanted to do may fall away. You start to be moved primarily through inspiration, and that's a great midset to pursue your life purpose. I'd say reach for IT, it's what i did. And even though it hurt like hell at some points, i don't think i would change it for anything. About the Psychedelics, you must decide yourself, I tryed my first at high school and they helped me with a lot of stuff even before i had heard about enlightenment. And after i did they were instrumental from the very beginning (My first experimence of Satori was in an airplane going from Amsterdam to Edinburgh, while high on some Truffles, it was beautifull)
  17. Hello, i am currently reading the spiral dynamics book, and one thing puzzles me. People who, as youth were apparently green (fighting for human rights and etc) and as they get older, they seem to "go orange" finding orange jobs and calling the new youth as "young idealists" and saying that "when you get a job you will understand the real world". There seems to be quite a lot of people following this pattern, and actually, there is even an example of that in the book, right in the beggining, where they mention a human rights activist from london who, after some time, gets a job in marketing i believe and becomes more or less your standard orange type. Unfortunately, after that, they haven't mentioned said example anymore. I know there can be regressions, but it seems to me they tend to have a reason (wich so far, this one hasn't beem explained) and be somewhat temporary (Most of the people i know who "went orange" are orange to this day, with maybe some hints of green here and there). So, what are your thoughts on this?
  18. What do you mean by that? structural and content are ideas, they are a part of survival. As survival shapes all our actions, i would say Structural, but i don't know if i get what you are asking.
  19. @Preety_India what is a fake green? a blue that defends "green" values?
  20. @tuckerwphotography And before high school, before addopting green values, had you explored the orange ones to any extent? or did you go straight to green? what about blue?
  21. Congratulations!
  22. Stage red is what brings about systemic corruption, to control it you need solid blue.
  23. @soos_mite_ah Well, i know your job doesn't define your stage, but these people i know in my life have actually gone from being social activist to claiming liberalism is good and that the government should be minimal... Don't know if that's some ideological hate from my part, but they seem to have somwhat regressed. Here are the excerpts from the book:
  24. Unfortunatelly, i think so. And now, with his death, the country is regressing back to early red and purple. Thanks Obama...
