It happends, it was probably then not meant to be you two then, you got richer in experience atleast and that is a win no matter what. Keep your head up high, be yourself, it will come a day when you finally meet someone, who you can also be yourself with. No need to rush anything, fuck what society or what anyone else thinks, work on your self, and it will attract females aswell.

I know, the fasad of science is really hard to break, because for whatever objection you throw up, there is usually an answer for it. But keep just making your experience more absolute then learned knowledge and conciousness will reveal more and more to you in that sense, just relax, take it easy, you are growing and evolving in your skills, you are you, be proud and humble about that and the ladies will pick up on that, and you will feel good in yourself as well whether you get a hookup or not, I think that you are brave to be honest! Keep working and keep evolving, but don't forget to smile and enjoy the process no matter the results. ?

That kind of science thinking is extremely biased and limited, just let loose, just practice presence and recognize that those are thoughts. It does help, and just go with the flow, don't take it so personally either, just look at it as a way to evolve you and make you more confident in your self and that the limiting beliefs about power and money and status, is an extremely shallow view of reality and human attraction that it is like 1% of the entire spectrum, so you don't have to worry about that.

Hey, so I was just offered to learn and jump in as an extra for a higher position in the company i work for, I will go from the floor to the office, but the situation im in is that my girlfriend is gonna apply for a painter education at the same time i am supposed to begin the new position and then i've got to be home with our son before he goes off to begin at a daycare, so the problem i have is that, ive worked hard for years and never ever said no to work, ive jumped in at night and worked double shifts and what not, so I now got the opportunity to advance, and my girl really wants to begin the education because she wants to secure her future, but this opportunity for me at my work, will increase my salary and opportunity to advance high in thr company.. So I have to talk to my girl about this and she will not be happy but I seriously worked hard for this opportunity and it has been my goal all along. Do you have any advice or opinion on the matter?

@Someone here I want to dearly recommend an extremely impressive author in these topics, David Bentley Hart, he is one of the best philosophers alive today IMO. His book, the experience of God is amazing!

God is infinitely actual, Being as such, fullness of Being, we exists as particular beings with potentiality and actuality, but God as the fullness of Being has no potentiality, in all the great theistic traditions they speak of God as the source and origin and end of all reality. God's essence and existence coincides which makes Him infinitely Actual without limitations, He is simplicity itself so to speak. He is an infinite act of understanding, in him Being and Knowledge is ONE. INFINITE BEING and Infinite Conciousness are one in God, thats why we have intelligibility at all. Pure infinite Mind so to speak. Atheism is irrational, and they need many miracles like existence and conciousness and intelligibility and miracles they do deny..

That does not adress EXISTENCE as such, BEING, not what particular forms it might take. Existence as such is impossible in a naturalist view really, that worldview is completely incoherent. Not saying you dont already know this, but just saying.

Yes , Infinity , God , is really good words because thats what it truly is, in its essence, it is so ineffable so it is impossible to speak about it, but truly, enlightenment or serious awakening really makes everything completely meaningless, but not necessarily in a bad way, it is like coming home but simultanously it is pure madness, thoughts, concepts etc, is a way to veil the truth because it is frightening, and then the realization becomes, "life" is absolutely perfect as it is. Nothingness can not overcome it either so to speak, it is too free to be limited to it. Because it contains all that there is, even the not is as well in a paradoxically way. Like outside is looking in and outside does not even exist ? Funny, cosmic joke.

There is actually glimpsing in psychedelic trips, there is still this presence which is non existent at the same time, it is absolutely absurd what reality really is, like a painting but no one painting but at the same time, this painting can be anything or do anything, it is pure creativity and madness and empty. It is no one there but presence, and presence/non presence is and can be whatever, even non existence but it is not real, nothing is real, but simultanously infinitely real, like Leo says, it is an infinite hallucination appearing nowhere. Life is truly a dream, but yet a dream is such a limited notion, but empty this surely is. But in lack of a better word, it is infinite Self and No Self simultanously. But surely, you dont want the truth, it is truly game over then, nowhere to run, yet there is no possibility in avoiding it, the pulling of the truth gets stronger and then it is no longer up to you.

Agreed, to say that they stand for rationalism is irrational in that they have the most incoherent worldview that there is. In all the great traditions around the world they say that God is Being which is existence as such, not in a particular form really but the fullness of Being, which materialism and atheism have no answer for, also, the traditions speaks about Conciousness, which also is a big problem for atheism and materialists. Also Love as such is a problem, which in its nature transcends both time and space. God is the fullness of Being , Conciousness, Bliss/Love, which in God they all come together as ONE. We humans seek the Good, the True and the Beatiful. Only a infinite source can satiate our desires really.

Infinity is absolutely perfect, talk about a shift in perspectives, don't you see that all this rambling just drags you deeper into seperation? It is just an idea that you have, stop feeding your mind with this narrowness and go out in nature, play some nice video games, eat some good food, meditate, watch some nice movies or what not, go hiking etc, and learn to appreciate the infinite beauty of the world as it is. It is a design of pure genius, it really is, but it requires a shift in perspective, and ultimately a shift in identity to make sense to you. But break the thought storys you have going on in this moment, it is not doing justice to you or reality brother. Trust me when I say this, you can be free from this thought story, it is possible, and it certainly is possible to see the beauty of reality. Keep inquiring, keep being the moment without labels, and just go into nature, observe, accept thoughts as they come, but don't take them seriously.

@bambi I am not assuming an authority, i just see the pesimistic tendency in you, sure life is suffering nobody denies that, but to appeal to some sort of nobel truth as an authority comes off the same as what you are accusing me off. Life is suffering, but life is also wonderful, impressive, fun, and everything else, to just say life is suffering is an extremely limited view of reality, and suffering usually comes with something good, like wisdom, it is many times practical as well. But at the highest level, suffering is purely imaginary, and that is totally realizable, and then you see that life, is perfect just the way it is, because being unlimited is not so fun afterall, limitations and struggle is more appealing when viewed from the Unlimited perspective so to speak.

Thats not really up to you to decide, everyone is free to have their opinions and philosophy. You are not a snowflake man, you can just simply choose to ignore but @Inliytened1 did give some solid truths, it is possible to be free of thoughts that increase suffering when you identify with them, what you are, are boundless, more Being then thinking is a good start, rest as I AM and investigate the nature of thought itself, what is the sense of I AM in you? Sit with that, and somewhere along the line, truth will reveal itself, cause that is what reality has been all along, and then suffering massively decreases.
