  1. I think the statistics show that 13% of the population is living in such dire straits, that their society (of which they are part and parcel of) does not put much value in their lives. Have you looked into who the biggest victims of those murders are : https://www.statista.com/statistics/251877/murder-victims-in-the-us-by-race-ethnicity-and-gender/ What do you think of these statistics?
  2. Is there really any enlightened, living human being? Realize that you are here in this lifetime as a human being, regardless of where you came from or where you are going. And nobody really knows in the end for sure... we are all just humans at this very moment. Anyone who claims to know 100% about it is selling you their brand of religion/spiritualism. So just be human, the best human you can be.
  3. I think it was a very disorganized narrative cobbled up together into a meaningless whole. The parts are true and make sense on their own, but shouldn't be carelessly mashed together like that. The problem itself exists on multiple levels (physical, social, economic, political, spiritual), each level important enough to be looked at in its own right, and not all lumped together into one level (spiritual) with a one-size fits all bogeyman and accompanying solution.
  4. Are you talking about your conscious mind? Because if your mind takes over 2 minutes after you've woken up for the rest of the day, it seems to me that there is a connection between being awake, and an active mind/ego. As in your mind goes "online" soon after waking up, and then shuts down when you fall asleep at the days end. Maybe it is not the mind itself that is the problem (unless you want to be in a state of endless sleep) , but the specific thoughts that occupy your mind?
