Can you explain suicide? Or you're just above it? -
Well, I do not have the direct experience of your collegue unlike you, but it is definetely possible that some institutions just suck, i.e, they have a really poor methodological guidance with their students. And that makes all the diference. It may not be your case. But if it is, then changing to a better collegue could mean you are able to skyrocket your understanding. Then other questions arise, like, Do you maintain a daily study routine? Does the subject that you're trying to study really matters to you? Do you understand studying is hard? Today a lot of people get diagnosed with ADHD, which looks sus to me, kinda like a cheap diagnostic. I could be wrong. You can teach a monkey a lot of stuff, and it only depends on the ability of the teachers.

Hello. What are you studying? And how is it exactly that you're failing to study? Going to the doctor won't kill you. And you don't even need to take medications if you don't want, specially with ADHD, it's a questionable strategy every doctor use with a not fully comprehended condition. If you strongly desire to learn, you can do it. Expect to get what you put in.

Suicide is not an individual problem but a collective one. And the best analogy to understand it is to picture a person burning alive, it would be actually very wise to put a bullet in his/her head. -

@Rishabh R "Others are artificial and everything else is natural" doesn't make sense at all, or I am not sure what it means... yet if that's your objective then who am I to tell you what to experience. Maybe you could try meditating for 2 hours. I was saying it is probably a reaction of your ego. And since you were so intrigued I answered. Yet thanks for reminding me. -
Yes it can be pretty strong and yes it can be psychedelic like. But there are far better choices to explore consciousness and yourself. Don't rely solely on it. I would argue is better to not use weed at all. I've had some insane trips on it. So much fantastic stuff, an other paranoia inducing experiences too, unfortunately. But I've definetely seen geometric patterns and cartonish figures with eyes closed. I am 23, and I did that at your age. If anything I would tell you pursue sobriety as a priority and your pillar. And I strongly suggest pursuing awakening in solitude, with better substances. Ah, and that exact same thing happened to me. Weed started to loose its potency with me to a point where it was mostly numbness (which is the state of 90% weed users). Take care of your fresh neurons.

Then why so many people are deluded? -

It is really easy to make it a "they're trying to control us" type of thing. -
@Sabth I am sorry to hear that. Try to aply the concept of 100% responsability, as hard as it seems. You may be in the worst situation. and it may haven't been your fault, yet you still need to make the best desitions. Thank me later.

White is the presence of all colors, literally. -
He talks and breaths like normal after running 26km

I don't think is an accident. It will only shatter what we grew up so attached with.

Because you have an ego, like it or not -
@Jehovah increases I wish it was easier to acces higher levels of inteligence, just at our own will. At least people found psychedelics

Just to put it into perspective: if I take that dose I would be tripping for days.
-
I would start with 500mg.

I feel smoking horse shit is a thing. Jokes aside, I think OP may have tried the wrong red bell pepper. I had a blast with a Ginkgo capsule at night one day.

@Carl-Richard Yeah, I think I do have some New Age ideas ingrained, although I don't seem to profess them. It is like the current baseline nonetheless

Real thinking is passing through a lot of different ideas and finding flaws thanks to your freshness of thought. We need people to engage in existing ideas because they will always see different things.

This is the best counter-intuitive advice for having better energy levels... Or you can walk 3hs a day if you have the time. I almost forgot, intermittent fasting helps quite a lot. Again, it's counterintuitive. You think eating in a narrower time window will deplete your energy for the rest of the day. Quite the opposite. Disclaimer: study it well so you don't harm yourself.

Hi. This is like trying to stop smoking cigarettes by shifting to weed "cause it's more productive". Unfortunately it wont solve your overcompumption. Specially because phones will never replace the activities they try to emulate. What I mean is: you may have the best intention and be completely clear-minded as to how to use your phone. Yet it will innevitably limit your capacity because of its nature. It is sad, I know. Good news is you don't need to stop using it. Just add a set of different and productive activities in your life. Walk 4km every day, take languages clasess instead of Duolingo, read books instead of pdfs... etc. Most productive and creative people are not making a top 10 of phone apps video. Fyi: I installed an app that changes the display of the menu for a minimalist one. It helped.

Progress is suppossed to stay with you until death. -
Hi, what do you think New Age is, then?
-
I don't see this a bad thing at all. Neither a good thing honestly... It is the underlying mechanics of us social creatures. In steping back and seeing it you are already a step ahead. It's like, you could be the most intelligent, but at the end your are going to follow the crowd. As stated, we always create anything based on what we experience, so the notion of "new thoughts" is already misleading and not the full picture. Embrace the fact that you will always take from the exterior to build your own. No shame on that. Instead you should be encouraged to do so. In the other hand, it is as important to create the infrastructure as it is to make the thinking... You still need a school building to make the thinking inside the classrooms. Well, nowdays schools are outdated, nowdays the real G is the internet. In that sense, being a construction/technician worker is as important as being a groundbreaking, paradigm shifter researcher. Society is much more than a copy-paste.

Based on the experience of lots of people (included myself), buddhism or any ramification or yogi practices fail to meet their proclamations. Because in the end it's all about following a regime, which doesn't take on account your own intelligence. You are literally trying to copy something else which may not be what the original practice was about. From what you say, it seems wise to stop it altogether. Yet recognize that a better approach is to enter those kind of practices and only take what works for you, in the first place. It does matter to be completely honest with yourself about what you're doing, using common sense and your intuition to guide you, which is what you are doing. There is not a one-size-fits-all. Focus instead on the principles. They are always the same and it's solid ground. And they may require a completely different approach in your own context. But principles never fail to meet the standars. But again, one thing is to follow principles blindly, and other thing is to contemplate their meaning and importance. It cannot be coincidence that principles worked for people 2500 years ago and they work for us today. This is king. Yet only works if you seek to grow. And it may not be suitable to the OP's case... Seeking variety is also king.
