Saying toothpaste alone is like saying soap, drinks, food, clothes, lotion, oil.....there are many varieties made from different ingredients. Oral care is very important as many illnesses can stem from poor oral health. Smelling like garlic without eating garlic is just odor from bacteria build-up which can get in the gut and cause stomach issues from the bad bacteria and can cause halitosis. It's not about dropping toothpaste but what are you using to cleanse your overall mouth, gums, teeth Jaws, tongue. I dropped conventional toothpaste a long time ago and only use natural ones like neem, dr bronner's or one's from reputable company's I trust and where the ingredients doesn't contain fluoride or other ones not suitable for the mouth. Fluoride is arguable and some insist it's necessary and will want to debate the topic. I don't and I choose not to use toothpastes that contains it. Who knows if the water I drink has it so i try to minimize when I can. Most toothpastes out there are toxic to the point and most people will end up at the dentist requiring dental surgeries in the long run because of them. Very few people I've seen that consistently use toothpastes like Colgate and Crest for a period of time that didn't have dental issues in the long run, but their diet didn't help either so it wasn't just the toothpaste. I needed the dentist once years ago; but ever since I changed from conventional to more natural I haven't needed, haven't had a toothache, never bad breath (even after waking up).

It's pretty simple. All of life is an illusion. Thought is time. There's nothing really happening at the existential level. It's all appearances. If you burn wood, it turns into ash. Where did the fire go. It became one with the ashes. Is the fire separate from the ash. It took time for the wood to burn and turn into ash. Is there time now between the fire and the ash. No. Both are entangled. There's no space and time between the fire, wood and ashes. It all became one. No distance, time or space. The ash didn't make itself, neither did the wood nor fire. They all were born out of something, but now they're all one. No separation. In order for creation to happen, time is needed. For each expressions of the same source. The appearance of ash stem from fire and wood. Ash does not appear on its own. Fire needs a spark, so that's also dependent on something to exist prior. Everything is in relation to everything else. No separation. Where is the time in that. It's an illusion because there is no separation only appears to be and thought is what makes that possible. You thought about making a fire to burn the wood which turned into ash. Without thought none of this would have happened. Without time and space none of this could occur. Now, thought, time, space, fire, wood, ash are all entangled. The end result is the ash but that ash will eventually turn into dust or whatever which will also be a part of the equation; and whatever the dust turn into will also be a part of that equation to infinity. Where did it all start, with a thought. Where did the thought came from? Universal mind. So, Universal mind to ash to dust.....and so on required time and space, which it imagines to be able to create all that in between stuff. It had to imagine time and space. It's all imagination. I can sit here and imagine myself at the beach. Where is the time and space in that. So time and space are illusions which is created by thought. Phew! And that's all thought which created the time and space to be able to write this epilogue.

We're all trying to make sense out of this chaos. It won't work. Just accept that fact. The mind needs structure and order and it keeps thinking logic and reason will do it. It won't. Not in the Universal sense. Every mind will see it differently in some way or another. The only constant is that which doesn't change and that is wherever all this chaos is coming from. It's utter chaos can't you see it. This forum can go on to infinity discussing these very topics till the brain fries up and everyone won't come to the same conclusion. Why? Because there isn't any. Shit just comes in and out of existence with no warning labels attached. Just boom. Here I am. Out of nowhere. Out of nothing. That nothing is something, but it's not some thing, it is no-thing. Everything is nothing and something simultaneously. Polar opposites which balances everything out. But it's not two sides, it's infinite. Infinity has no structure; it's chaotic. Intelligently chaotic. At our level we are making the best of this chaos in this 3 dimensional plane. At the higher levels, these kinds of conversations doesn't even exist. And at more higher levels, conversations doesn't exist at all. At the singularity it's just oneness. So all this talk about nothing and no-thing and something doesn't even exist once there is no egoic mind structure, which seeks to make sense of it all. Some will say I'm just talking shit. Don't know what I'm saying and what I'm saying is false. Damn right; to your mind that's the case. To the no mind it doesn't matter. It's all right. Nothing excluded. Even this insane comment is a part of infinity, because it exists. So keep going at it for eons you will never get to a point, any point. It will go on forever and ever. Until.......until...death; and that is just a concept because infinity cannot die. Tomorrow it will be another topic. Another topic for the mind to ruminate in. To keep it's status quo going. Thoughts upon thoughts upon thoughts. Keeping itself alive and using others to mask it's true identity. Going around and around in a circle to infinity. Thoughts talking to itself and never coming to an end. It got us by the balls. We'll keep on and on and on and on until it realizes it's just the wave in the ocean that popped up and believed it was a something, when in fact it was nothing but a wave in the infinite ocean of love. The tricky part is that it wouldn't even recognize itself as a wave anymore because the wave never existed in the first place. Can't grab a wave and set it aside.

Youre right I was being ignorant and naive. I will straighten that part up and try to transcend that part of me that doesn't like complexities. It's the mind that's not familiar with those terms lashing out, instead of trying to embrace the different forms of expression that the Universe has to offer. I loved what Sadguru had to say in this video. So true. Human intellect can be a destroyer. We dissect and dissect and dissect till we cut ourselves to pieces beyond repair. The intelligence that's at play, the intellect is no match for. All the knowledge we acquire is just being recycled and nothing new is being spun. Leave all that be and look at life directly. See the intelligence at play right before your eyes without trying to dissect it to pieces. Dissecting can be helpful for certain tasks and to accomplish certain things, but on a whole, leave the intellect mind behind and see life as it is - directly, pure, whole, infinitely beautiful void of trying to intellectually dissecting it to pieces which is what the (........) mind does. Forgot the fancy term for that part of the mind.

The ego is a construction. To "kill" the construction, one has to eliminate all the constructs. It's that simple - simple explanation but hard to do, since it's the egoic mind that's trying to kill itself. Let go of all beliefs, constructs, concepts, ideas etcetc. See yourself anew everyday. No baggage, no world views, no opinions, no future no past. That's all happening in the present, where the egoic mind doesn't reside. Its not about killing the ego, but to use it to transform itself, through meditation practices that target this specifically.

Great point. That's why I do stuff i enjoy and what comes naturally, I don't want to make this into a chore. It's like listening to your fav music because you want to, not because someone tells you you're not whole and complete unless you do. I practice every chance I get in my daily life, so it becomes a part of me and it doesn't feel like I'm trying to achieve anything; only to become familiar with the presence I already am. Some things takes extra effort, yes, but it's still not a chore.
