  1. Maybe that is why 'God' does what he does.... To fragment himself into separate beings, in order not to be alone.
  2. Just felt compelled to post this Bill Hicks vid after seeing Leo's latest
  3. @Sahil Pandit İ'm not focused at all on this. İ focus on things in my personal life. Aliens are not in my personal life lol.
  4. A few years ago i saw this vid. i thought it was utterly BS back then. But now i'm not so sure anymore...
  5. When looking into the imagination, i found this description on wikipedia : "The common use of the term is for the process of forming new images in the mind that have not been previously experienced with the help of what has been seen, heard, or felt before, or at least only partially or in different combinations." İsn't this exactly what nature is doing and has been doing since the start of the universe? Combining subatomical particles into atoms, then combining different atoms into molecules, combining molecules into ever more complex organic molecules untill life came into being. From that point on we call this process 'evolution'. İn other words...forming new things, with the help of what was there before by using that in different combinations. Very similar to 'imagination' if you ask me. So we could say we're living in 'imagination'? We're imagined beings capable of exerting imagination ourselves ;D. İsn't infinity, all possibilities...everything goes...an inherent quality of the imagination? Or maybe, i should just stop contemplating these things in order not to go crazy
  6. This statement is false. (self referential paradox)
  7. You need clearly defined goals to take action on. What are your goals?
  8. Egos love validation alright. The trick is not to get lost in ego, but to use it as a tool. Validation can be used to create a positive feedback loop, to reinforce a positive belief. "I'm good at acting" ==> validation ==> "see, i'm really good at it" ==> more motivation, improved self image etc. ==> better acting skills. But always remember what you are doing. It is just a belief, don't let it define you as a person. Wear it as a coat that you can lay off at any time so to speak.
  9. Often, people that are good at their job don't get promoted because the manager will feel they can't be missed. The manager cares about himself. He wants his job to be easier by having hard working, competent people under him. He'll give the trouble maker or the incompetent one a promotion to get rid of him. 'He sucks at the job anyway...maybe he'll be more motivated, and perform better in another department'.
  10. Getting a degree is becoming less important. Self education and experience is the way to go. If you can show your skills and knowledge in a job interview, that will be more important than a piece of paper. Of course, not in all professions. You can't become a surgeon or a lawyer without the degree. But in fitness and nutrition...your own body will be the best proof that you've mastered the subject.
  11. Same reason i refuse to play any board games or card games with my family. It's all fake and leads to nothing. It's just a huge waste of time and it's making me depressed.
  12. Let's use the dream analogy. The stuff and characters in a dream are obviously 'made' of (sub)consciousness. When the dreamer wakes up, he'll realize 'they were all me'. But in the dream, there has to be duality. He can't dream being more than one character at the same time.
  13. Try a glass of lukewarm water with half a lemon squeezed in it, first thing in the morning. I noticed a difference in my skin after just a few days of doing this.
  14. Yes. The only thing you are sure of is that you are conscious. Other people can say that they are conscious, but you'll never know for sure. I can have my computer say it's conscious for that matter. You are the most important person in your life. If you die, 'reality' dies with you.
  15. Sleep Is The Enemy" Hey! I'm ready when I wake up, I'll take on everything, I'm made of gasoline Relax is not a word I understand it makes no sense to me Attack never bend shit man you should do something Don't think that time stands still it's passing you by meanwhile I'm ready Sleep is the enemy Sleep is the enemy Good morning, how you doin, hit the bottom, rock the cradle Skim the fat, get the payoff, stay lean, keep the blood clean and get ready Fear is what needs to be put to sleep, out of reach And when you decide you've got to do it and move it you can feel it Sleep is the enemy Sleep is the enemy Stay still, be calm, relax, screw that, pull the alarm Make the waves, roll the dice, suck the life, beat on the brat, Cut the crap, turn the white black You know what I'm talking about You know what I'm talking about I'm ready when I wake up, I'll take on everything, I'm made of gasoline Relax is not a word I understand it makes no sense to me Sleep is the enemy Sleep is the enemy I'm ready! in the morning, taking a cold shower, blasting this trough the speakers, and i'm readyyyyyyy!!
  16. Creating distraction and using suggestion to pay with plain paper money. Notice how the distraction and confusion starts right away with the sentence ' I would like to, can i buy some of ...?' This immediately 'confuses' the mind. And then the subway story to feed the suggestion 'take it, take it...it's fine'. Clever!! And no biggy when it doesn't work, he'll talk himself out of it.
  17. Hi Simone, Sorry to hear you had such a tough time growing up. I think you should start with meditation and relaxation exercises. There are alot of guided meditations and relaxation/visualization exercises online that may help you quiet down that inner voice. Read books! leo mentions a few basic ones in some of his vids like 'psycho cybernetics' wich is a real gem. Especially if you've had a bad childhood, your subconscious is probably filled with lots limiting and negative beliefs about yourself. Try to find these out and change them. As mentioned above...a good (hypno)therapist can help you a great deal but you can also do it yourself too. Good luck and best wishes for 2017.
  18. The secret to the law of attraction is to gain acces to the subconscious mind. The conscious mind acts as a gatekeeper to the subconscious. The conscious mind will reject ideas that don't make sense or that it judges as untrue, bullshit, etc...But the gatekeeper can be bypassed, with basically three techniques. Brute force : keep repeating something long and often enough and the conscious mind will get tired rejecting it and allows it to enter the subconscious. This is why affirmations work. Hypnosis. The conscious mind gets distracted and suggestions can slip by it, entering the subconscious directly. Visualization. The subconscious mind can't differentiate between something that really happened and something imagined. If you have a vivid imagination, and you put feeling and emotion in your visualizations, this is a great way to acces the subconscious. Our minds get bombarded every day with a shitload of negativity. The major 'undercurrent' of society is negative. It is a real challenge to withstand that and to guard your mind against that. It requires constant vigilance towards your own thoughts but also external influence. Images, conversation... It's remarkable how easy it is to get drawn back into negative thinking, complaining...
