I recently listened to 'a practical guide to self hypnosis' by Melvin Powers on libivox audiobooks. Hypnosis works. It is used by many therapists around the world. Even by dentists to replace anesthetics. I think people greatly underestimate the influence of the mind on the body and visa versa. Maybe it is worth to see an experienced hypnotherapist to help you achieve your goals and grow.
I didn't read the book, but it seems logical. Humans lived for tens of thousands of years in small groups. A man probably didn't even know if a child was his or not. They had to think in terms of 'our' children.
During meditation, i often get these overwhelming feelings of love for life and joy, goosebumps and tingeling sensations all over my body. Does anyone else experience this? İts hard to stay focused with these feelings...
