Stage Orange is neglected here and even by me. I’m starting to make my life more coherent, cutting out naiveness. You go to the life purpose section and few people here have really built anything for themselves, most are in college or not really doing anything profound with their lives except meditating. The most financially successful person here is Leo. This is not an ideal community to learn about how to actually live life, but I can see people are working a lot on their relationships here. I think you get a very specific type of demographic here, young men who are decently educated aged but not hustlers, who have work to do on socializing, I was part of this demographic. People are just discussing or pointing out the marvel of consciousness or their extreme shifts in state/perception brought on by psychedelics, the community itself isn’t so mature and hasn’t realized there’s more to life and spirituality than peak experience / exploring god conscious states. Not hating, just noticing the blind spots here. People here are trying their best, just wonder how they are supporting themselves financially.

Not my experience at all, quite the opposite. My belief is that academics ends up twisting the mind so much that they end up confused. The interesting this is education still remains critical for personal development, but I think it’s kinda like medicine. You can take too much sometimes. He’s so smart that he’s dumb, some simple profound truths will only be realized if you let go of all the nuance and melt into them.

I’ve thought about this myself a lot and I agree that experiencing a sense of separation is important for many people in balance along side being one with everything, Wu Wei balance. I think what’s most important though is to be conscious of why you want to be separate because sometimes it can come from long held beliefs about wanting safety or control. Not that those are wrong, just so you know if they are driving the car or not.

They need left wing economic populism, reign in corruption (lobbying) and unregulated capitalism, and common sense reforms with guns and whatnot. They then need to drop all the LGBTQ stuff, feminism, identity politics. All the try hard ideologies they push. Stick to centrist identity ideology that is just very neutral and welcomes anyone but isn’t pushing some whiny narrative about 80 different genders or trying to to pretend a fat person isn’t fat or a grown man in a dress should complete in women’s sports. But of course they make the culture wars the front and center stuff they talk about.

Russia poisoned people on British soil already and nothing happened. It happened in 2018, look up the Salisbury Poisoning. Russia definitely has the reach and resources to fund assassinations like this.

Security guarantees from who? Anything from the USA means nothing now after Trump.

The problem isn’t AI art. It’s all the stolen data used to train the AI how to make the art and the way it’s used. Everyone obviously has an opinion so there’s an echo chamber of extremes but avoiding extremes any reasonably developed person supports both AI and the ethical use of it. You can be pro AI and truth and also recognize the disruption it brings in all areas of life.

It’s true. There is zero opposition. Every single dem rep needs to be doing what Bernie is doing. They just sit there taking punches. It’s pathetic. They sit around waiting for orders or to “act cordial.” They are really just useless the lot of them. Lip service. They ran for office but just stammer and “act outraged” but out zero effort into the fight. They should be fighting like Ukraine.

Half of them have built their entire personality and world view around this guy. To admit your entire belief system is lies and rubbish, especially if you identify with it so deeply. Many will go to their grave screaming they were right. Disconnection from life.

How long until the general public fully turns on Trump / MAGA / right wing populism? I think you won’t notice any sort of push back until the midterms but will they ever be made to answer for their crimes? Are we in store for a J6 2.0???

Just ask yourself what do you believe and why do you believe it? It’s simple but that’s why it can be a bit tricky sometimes. Just live your life the best you can, being as authentic as you can. At the end of the day speak the truth and be kind to yourself. That’s the way towards living truthfully.

The beauty and allure of the unknown because you don’t know what’s going to happen

Same goes for many men with their girlfriend or wife. Not entirely, but it’s draining and kinda annoying being around a woman for long periods of time. They are so annoying sometimes, needy and just childish and wanting attention and praise. I can’t stand being around my girlfriend sometimes (live together and both work from home) I just want my own fucking room so she can’t bother me.

Yeah, dems are pretty awful at campaigning and messaging. We could have an opposition now that should be fighting but the party is such rubbish it is like a rotting corpse. The party needs to drop the woke, LGBTQ, and minority stuff and just stick to being an inclusive party that doesn’t care about identity politics but passes legislation that helps everyone. Really reign in corruption and economic inequality. They instead choose to make the party focused on their ideals. It’s like when I was in NYC there were ads for tinder on the subway and every white person was effeminate and gay and the one straight white man was very athletic and handsome but dating a giant fat white woman. They push this weird idea of equality that isn’t actually equality but their fantasy of transgenders competing in women sports. It’s really infuriating to see as a down to earth liberal man. The party could just be a chill place that doesn’t give a fuck about who you are or largely irrelevant social issues compared to the larger fight against oligarch /authoritarian rule. Nope, instead the party wishes to split itself up and fragment itself over all the gay minority inclusion stuff and label white people as bad, etc.

It’s hard to say. That’s sort of what they are known for though. Taking brazen risks. Leaving calling cards. Keeping people guessing. Stoking conspiracy. It’s the way they have always operated to keep people guessing.

You would think, but they can be quite petty like this. They have targeted journalists before. I’m not saying it’s certain or anything. But it’s entirely believable.

They will try, he literally incited a riot and tried to overthrow the results of 2020, his own former VP hates him, Trump told him not to certify the election. And Republican congress rolled over. Of course he will try to do this again. The entire party is vying to take over as a dictatorship. The public is so delusional and apathetic they have no way to understand how serious that is for US democracy.

It’s hard for me to buy anything he says entirely. I’m sure he’s doing well but I don’t trust him or everything he says. Most people who have actually created a business that is not snake oil usually have more transparency to them, you can see the fruits of their labor. With his stuff, he yaps a lot, but I don’t see anything behind it. I’m not saying he’s an entire fraud or purely peddling BS but companies with actual liquidity and value appear much more transparent, you can see what they do, what they sell, what’s going on. Maybe his grift is scamming start up guys who have a trust fund or cash to blow on some business selling junk like drop shipping. There is an entire layer of the manosphere which earns its money just scamming each other and offering each other courses and mentorship. Maybe that’s how he earns his cash. He definitely isn’t some Wall Street insider or tapped into any real industry. He’s marketing on YouTube, that’s always a sign that his clients and income come from the same place more or less. People running legitimate businesses in various industries aren’t watching Alex videos, they are out in the field pioneering. Alex’s market and clientele is sort of a collective ponzi scheme where they rip off people trying to get rich quick or do some outsider thing like drop shipping. I think I heard Owen even mention him because they market to the same group of men. The product is the people they market to, nothing else.

I remember seeing him take off in 2023 and wondering what his claim to fame was The thing is a lot of these guys are great at marketing and never really built a business aside from this, just got eyes on them and built a course I’m still wary of how true everything he posts is. I looked into his past and it’s unclear actually how successful and sustainable his prior gym business was. He’s a handsome guy and has a good look for an influencer and is great at marketing and public speaking, selling a dream. But I always am wary of the actual sustainability and truth behind the businesses these guys create. It’s hard to tell what income of his is actually from long term customers vs courses he sells based on a snake eating its own tail. His YouTube provides pretty basic business and marketing 101 so he does provide some good information, other than that I have no idea what else he has to offer, maybe he has built bank and can invest in legitimate companies now, but generally speaking start ups are not legitimate so it’s hard to actually know if he’s just riding a wave based off his social media marketing or if he actually knows how to build businesses in other spheres.

I think wording is really important here. It’s valid to acknowledge European ethnic groups have flourished but tell the full story. Tell how many of them achieved survival by enslaving and killing ethnic groups with different skin colors. That has echoed out over time.

I read what Leo said and agree with him, this should be a forum for people to express their beliefs clearly, we will help him deconstruct them, that’s an authentic ways towards truth. At the same time this place isn’t a kindergarten. There’s a level of development required to participate in discussions here or else myself and many people wouldn’t bother coming here. There has to be a line. It’s like if Leo pushed this site out to MAGA and got overrun by bad faith discussions with defensive MAGAs defending their pov. We can’t help everyone. There’s a level of development expected from this community before participating.
